8 days until the road trip up to Jamestown. Who else gets in Thursday night? I fly out on Wednesday night and arrive in Buffalo on Thursday morning. Thursday night I am going to J’s brewery and then walking over to the Buffalo AAA game with him and Tim Dalton and anyone who’s there who wants to go. I am not going to Jamestown until Friday night. |

Incidentally, for any ice cream lovers out there (of which I am definitely one), there is a great place called Boxcar Barney's nearby. Think its technically in Mayville, NY, but its close to where we will be (on the other end of the lake from Jamestown). We were travelling through there on a previous visit to the area, and were delighted to stumble upon it.
Great spot for ice cream, with very generous portions! I recommend it!
