I don't know. If you go to this show all over wrestling might not seem as good. I mean, how can other shows hold up against World's GREATEST Wrestling.

That's a pretty arrogant name for a wrestling company to call themselves; It's great if they can back it up but if they can't then I'm going to be pretty disappointed. It's like that time when I was a kid and I watched the movie The Amazing Panda Adventure. Afterwards I was thinking "That wasn't amazing at all." Perhaps I could have hired Lionel Hutz to help me get my money back. He's got experience with similar cases.😁 |

I bought the meet and greet ticket option for this show.
In addition to the already-announced Amazing Red and Mike Santana, for House of Glory I am hoping they also bring in Zilla Fatu, the current HOG Tag Team Champions Mane Event (Jay Lyon and Midas Black,) and the Cold Blooded Killers (Charles Manson and Nolo Kitano.)

SPOILER posted below about tonight's House of Glory show (I am currently watching the replay on Triller after flying home from Las Vegas to Seattle this afternoon:)
Zilla Fatu (the son of Umaga) tonight won the House of Glory Crown Jewel Championship in just the 20th match of his career. This result, along with the fact that I have not seen him announced so far for the GCW show in Los Angeles happening the same night, makes me think Zilla Fatu will be at this HOG vs FSW show in Las Vegas next month.

Last night at FSW I mentioned to one of the staff there that I am hoping that new HOG Crown Jewel Champion Zilla Fatu will be on this show and I was cautioned that there is a GCW show that night in Los Angeles. I have already known about that GCW show (I usually go to the bimonthly GCW shows in Los Angeles) but it nevertheless could be a sign that Zilla won't be on this show. So far though, Zilla has not been announced for either show.
new HOG Womens Champion Megan Bayne obviously won't be on this show as she has already been announced for GCW that night against Blake Christian, but for HOG women talent I would like to see both Ultra Violette (somebody who was briefly in the crowd last night had one of her shirts) and Diamond Virago as they could wrestle FSW women such as Brittnie Brooks (if she has recovered from her knee injury) and Mazzerati
HOG Cruiserweight Champion Gringo Loco so far has not been announced for either this show or the Los Angeles GCW show happening the same night.

I'm hopelessly out of touch with today's wrestling scene; both mainstream and independent. Because of that this week I'm probably going to sign up for Triller TV so I can watch some of FSW's and House Of Glory's most recent shows. This way I'll at least have some familiarity with the wrestlers when I go to the August 17th show.
I also bought a ticket for the meet and greet and I want to be able to genuinely say to a few of the wrestlers that I enjoy what I've seen of their work. Now I could just skip watching the shows and lie to the wrestlers by saying that I'm a fan but I could see that blowing up in my face if they start asking follow-up questions like the one below:
Wrestler: "Is there any particular match of mine that you enjoyed?"
Me: "Oh, uh, the one you had with that guy. You know, the one who wears the blue tights."

Triller TV is a great value these days (I think I am grandfathered in for the original rate for something like $5.99/month) prior to before where you had to pay for each show separately. Just watching HOG's most recent show on Friday night and GCW's Bloodsport show today easily gave me my money's worth for July (again I pay something like $6/month.) |
