It's been one of my favorite series to play. I think that there was a mention that it is on hiatus for now. The characters were so creative! The storylines so original. Will Mike be continuing this... or will it be eclipsed by 2140 and the next Legends run??

I hope it’s not done. It’s weird it went from a yearly thing to just not mentioned. Maybe a Prime update?

I'm only guessing but it's probably because Mike has a lot of irons in the fire and FS might be the lowest on the list. He is after all heading Legends, handling Online and mailing all the stuff as well as FS.

I hope it is just on hiatus.I at least want to know who won Sudden Death and the after effects of that.I am hoping for a set late this year or early next year even if it is just to wrap the CWF up.

I believe it may have taken a backseat, for now, to early Classics, which we were told we would see another release sometime this year.
I for one wouldn't mind seeing something like this:
Spring Cycle: Small update pack from Tom for COTG main line (4 guys or something)
Summer Cycle: Main Line COTG
Fall: Reimagined (those B&W sets that are OOP from 2094 to 2100 need to be told)
Winter: Early Classics
To me, this works. Then once EC ends, Mike can bring back Future Shock.

I think it all depends on how much Tom wants others involved in COTG, and how much he wants to be involved. I would say it’s a lot for someone to handle production, shipments, and writing, plus full time business interests and family commitments, which the author of Future Shock has. The reimagined sets have sold well and require less work, I would assume, than new ideas. |

I don’t think Future Shock has been cancelled but this is an example of why I am most concerned about the COTG brand with the release schedule change of going from 4 releases to 3 releases per year. annual GWF, Early Classics, Future Shock, reimagined needing to resume at 2094, anything else/ new COTGproducts. For COTG, it is not possible to get everything out in 4 releases much less 3 releases. |
