I'm the type that thinks any signing is a good signing. Just that someone on a personal want list, he would be on it. Several other interesting names on that show though.

I made 3 signings tonight and this weekend I will be working on 2 more (although I am more optimistic about 1 than the other.) who I also talked to at this show tonight.
Overall I had a good time going to Beyond for the first time.

At the show tonight, I got my Drew Gulak card autographed for a second time. I thought I had not gotten it autographed before but he pointed out that he did (it must have been at PWG and I forgot) but he offered to sign it a second time. I offered him money but he said it was free and then he suggested we take a picture together which I posted on Facebook. Now that I think about it, I believe I also have my Drew Gulak CZW card autographed too even though I did not include either version on my Indie card autographed list (which is why I brought my EVOLVE card tonight without looking at it first.)
We talked a little about the game (somebody else there also got his Drew Gulak Evolve card autographed.) I was surprised he seemed to recognize and remember me a little from PWG.

I'm torn on Gulak right now. Sounds like he was a really decent guy when you spoke to him though, and it's really cool he remembered you as well and was a nice guy!! I know Beyond got criticised online for booking him, given everything that has gone on in recent months with the end of his time with WWE

We have a signing and Drew Gulak surprised me at Intermission by remembering me from PWG. He told me he still has Lyle’s card on his refrigerator. Thats awesome. I remember that Lyle and Drew used to ride together for Chikara shows all the time. Cool that FG can keep his memory alive for Drew. |

Thanks, I have been on the road since last week on Wednesday so I missed that announcement. Waves & Curls is a fun team to have as the replacement Oh yeah, they worked Wrestlefest last year when I went to the show with Tournament Master. "Waves! And Curls! Waves! And Curls! Waves! I was surprised he seemed to recognize and remember me a little from PWG. He must have a real good memory. I once met him at a Toronto Chikara show in 2016 and later that year at King of Trios he came up to me and mentioned meeting in Toronto. |
