Thanks to DB 1091 and Troy for the comments!IPW Action from The Vault Episode #5 February 2, 2019 (Aired on tape delay.)Midnight Guthrie and Luke Raven opened the show and welcomed fans to the first episode of Action from The Vault featuring first-run matches from the Vault! They were joined by a raucous IPW crowd! They sent things over to Chad Olson to introduce the first match from the Vault! 1) Johnny Fitness picked up a win over Tom “Rocky” Stone. It took Fitness about four-and-a-half minutes to score the pinfall on Stone after his finisher—the Meltdown (a military press slam dropped into a power slam). Fitness told Midnight after the match that his goal is the IPW Heavyweight championship and that he is looking forward to an intense battle with “The Monarch” Jeremy Wyatt in a few weeks in Algona! Troy Peterson updated IPW fans on the brackets for the Heavyweight championship tournament. The next two first-round matches will take place on February 23 in Algona at the Locker Room. ( See Card #2 preview below.) The first semifinal match is set for March 30 at Newton High School, as “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce of the Family Stone will take on Eric Young of Team Canada! This should be a very interesting match between two rulebreakers who like to utilize the piledriver! 2) The Major Players defeated Jake “The Milkman” Milliman and “Sodbuster” Kenny Jay in six minutes. Matt Cardona and Brian Myers entered the Vault, along with their talent agent “Mr. Wonderful” Rock Riddle, to their theme music but they did not earn the favor of the IPW fans! Milliman and Jay came close to a big win, scoring a near fall on Cardona. But in the end, Myers scored the pinfall on Milliman after coming off the top rope with a flying body press and making a cover. Riddle and the Players were interviewed after and said that they will be the best tag team in IPW. Cardona ended with his catchphrase! After the break, Rock Riddle was back in the ring. While Chad held the mic, Riddle told the Vault fans that they were about to see a display of physical vigor they have never seen before. Into the ring, “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters entered while his music played. Riddle said that this would not be a sanctioned match but a display of Masters’ finisher the Masterlock. He reminded fans as he had announced on last week’s Action from The Vault that if any person could break the Masterlock, that person would receive $10,000. Riddle held up a stack of bills to show that he had money ready to give but he was confident he wouldn’t need to do that! Chad introduced Masters' first challenger, as “Ain’t Nobody” by Chaka Khan began to play. Into the Vault came Shane “Swerve” Strickland! The fans gave Strickland a warm welcome. Strickland entered the ring. Adam Kennedy served as the referee for this competition to determine if the Masterlock would be broken. To start off, Strickland sat on a steel chair in the center of the ring. Masters then slowly applied the full nelson. Once it was locked, Kennedy signaled for the contest to begin. Strickland got off the chair and fought his hardest. Ropes breaks would not count as an escape but “Swerve” fought to try to kick off the ropes and break the hold. Masters held the lock on for two minutes and Strickland dropped to his knees in the center of the ring. Strickland had no choice but to tap out rather than risk injury to his neck. Riddle was a very happy man! 3) UGLY picked up a quick pinfall win on Nacho Barrera. It took the man from Three Blocks East of Parts Unknown only 48 seconds to put down the Mexican grappler with the Skull-crushing Finale! UGLY told Midnight after the bout that he’s excited to compete in IPW, as he held the UGLY Stick high! Midnight and Luke previewed IPW’s first card at the Locker Room Bar and Grill in Algona on February 23! • In a rematch from a few weeks ago at Forte, America’s Most Wanted will take on Team Canada’s Petey Williams and AJ Smooth! Last time, the Canadians bailed and got counted out when the action got rough. What will happen this time? • The double main event will feature the final two first-round matches in the tournament to crown the first IPW Heavyweight champion! First, Johnny Fitness of the Inhumane Society will take on “The Monarch” Jeremy Wyatt! These are two legendary names from the Midwest wrestling scene the last few years and many fans wrestling experts consider these two as the top picks to win the title. Who will move on to Newton? • The winner of that bout will face the winner of the other main event pitting Mr. Destiny, also of the Inhumane Society, against The Big Picture! This features two hard-hitting, powerhouses fighting to move on toward the Heavyweight crown! Next week on Action from The Vault, you will see Matty Star, America’s Most Wanted, and “The Monarch” Jeremy Wyatt in action! Plus, another Masterlock Challenge!

Thanks to Zeke "Mr. Vegas" Gould and Troy for the comments!IPW Action from The Vault Episode #6 February 9, 2019 (Taped February 2)Midnight Guthrie and Luke Raven welcomed fans to the show and went right to the ring for some action! 1) Matty Star scored a pinfall on “Sodbuster” Kenny Jay in three minutes. Star, accompanied by his talent agent “Mr. Wonderful” Rock Riddle, received a lot of boos from the Vault fans. This didn’t deter him, as he scored the pinfall after a sliding forearm. In an interview with Midnight after, Riddle said it was a travesty that Star was not included in the IPW Heavyweight championship tournament. Star said he will prove his skills next week when he faces his former “brother” Johnny Fitness in the ring on Action from The Vault. After the commercial break, including commercials from Kwik Star and Confluence Brewing, Rock Riddle was back in the Vault to introduce “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters for his next Masterlock Challenge. Chad Olson introduced “The Anarchist” Arik Cannon, who came into the Vault to a great ovation from the fans! After getting set up in the chair from Joey JoJo, Masters applied the Masterlock and it was on! Cannon fought his hardest for three minutes and at one point, looked like he might break the hold. But Masters’ power was too much for the PBR drinker and Cannon dropped to his knees and tapped. Riddle’s money is safe again for another week! 2) America’s Most Wanted got a quick victory over Nacho Barrera and Tom “Rocky” Stone. “Cowboy” James Storm and “Wildcat” Chris Harris kept Barrera in the ring for the entire bout. Harris hit his finisher—the Catatonic (a swinging side slam) to score the pinfall in about 90 seconds. In an interview with Midnight, AMW said they want to defeat Petey Williams and AJ Smooth decisively in two weeks in Algona and they want to become the first IPW Tag Team champions! Midnight and Luke previewed IPW’s first card at the Locker Room Bar and Grill in Algona on February 23! • UGLY will collide with Matty Star! Both Midwest stars are off to a good start in IPW and are hoping to get a win to move on toward a future shot at whoever wins the IPW Heavyweight title tournament! • In a rematch from a few weeks ago at Forte, America’s Most Wanted will take on Team Canada’s Petey Williams and AJ Smooth! Last time, the Canadians bailed and got counted out when the action got rough. This features two hard-hitting, powerhouses fighting to move on toward the Heavyweight crown! 3) “The Monarch” Jeremy Wyatt was victorious over Jake “The Milkman” Milliman. Wyatt entered the Vault to “Rainbow in The Dark.” He was aggressive against Milliman and took him down to the mat. Wyatt applied his KC crossface to score the submission at 2:12. Wyatt told Midnight and the fans that he is the best wrestler in the history of the Midwest and he’s going to continue his legacy by winning the IPW Heavyweight title! Next week on Action from The Vault, former tag team partners and “brothers” will collide, when Johnny Fitness faces Matty Star! Plus Mr. Destiny faces Lenny Lane, as well as Nicky Free in action and another Masterlock Challenge! BREAKING NEWS!After this episode, ended the footage cut back to a live segment at the Vault featuring Midnight Guthrie and IPW Owner Troy Peterson. Thanks to DB1091, Troy, and Zeke for the comments!IPW Action from The Vault Episode #7 February 16, 2019 (Taped February 2)Midnight Guthrie and Luke Raven opened the show, welcoming fans back and from there, the show opened with a Masterlock Challenge! “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters entered the ring, accompanied by “Mr. Wonderful” Rock Riddle. Chad Olson introduced this week’s challenger as Tom “Rocky” Stone! Masters applied his Masterlock and the challenge began! Stone tried to use his knowledge of leverage and counters to break the full nelson but it was no use. After about three minutes, Stone dropped to the mat and tapped out. Riddle’s money is safe for another week! 1) In the first official match of the show, Nicky Free defeated Nacho Barrera in 54 seconds. Free hit the Freefall (a uranage) and scored the pinfall in short order. Free told Midnight that even though he was eliminated from the IPW Heavyweight title tournament, he will battle whomever he needs to earn a shot at the champion down the line! “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce and Stu Stone were interviewed. Midnight asked them how he felt about waiting until March for his next match in the Heavyweight championship tournament. Stone said that “good things come to those who wait” and that the IPW fans will soon have proof of who the best wrestler in IPW is. Pearce said that his jumping piledriver is better than Eric Young’s spike piledriver and that there is no one in his league. He will capture the gold in April in Waterloo and will dominate IPW! 2) Mr. Destiny battled Lenny Lane to the first draw in IPW history after 10 minutes. Lane surprised the powerhouse Destiny and came very close to a victory. Lane and Destiny were brawling on the floor when Lane gained the upper hand and tossed Destiny back into the ring. Just as he went for an attack, Chad’s countdown hit one and the bell sounded. You can bet these two will tangle again! 3) Johnny Fitness picked up a big win over his former tag team partner and “brother” Matty Star! This match was scheduled for a 20-minute time limit. Fitness had the early advantage but Star took over, with some help from “Mr. Wonderful” Rock Riddle. Star hit the superkick and went for a cover but Fitness got a foot on the bottom rope. Fitness battled back and had control. Riddle got up on the ring apron and distracted Billy J. Fitness went after the talent agent but got cut off by Star from behind. Riddle signaled that he had a plan and had Star hold up Fitness. Riddle grabbed a steel chair from ringside and went to hit Fitness with it. Fitness ducked and Riddle hit Star! Fitness clotheslined “Mr. Wonderful,” knocking him off the apron. He followed up with the Meltdown on Star and scored the pin after 11 minutes of action.
