big problem being Jeff is in AEW. However if this opens up Eddie Marlin, I'd have two top wants.

I did not know he would be in this set, but I did know that Jerry Jarrett was signed to the game as Tom signed him at the CAC here in Las Vegas two years ago which was when he also signed Miss Texas (from last year's LOW womens set) and some other names he told me about.
Although I knew of this signing, I was a little surprised by tonight's announcement since the set roster was described as obscure and Jerry Jarret is apparently not even the headliner.

Jerry's kind of in an odd spot--he's more famous as a promoter than as a wrestler. He's certainly not a zero as a wrestler--he was a bigger name at least in his home area than Stu Hart was. But he's SUCH a legendary, long-lasting name as a promoter and with his son being famous across generations, that he feels like a headliner even though objectively he's a middle-of-the-pack wrestling star if you're being generous.

Am I biased? I don't look for "headliners". I just want names in the set, but to me...he's the headliner. I don't think you can argue against this, but probably one of the five most influential promoters in the history of wrestling.

That is the only difference, and it is due to being a wrestling game. If he was a guest at GCon he would be a much bigger name than a lot of big-name wrestlers who had a great career and are fun to have in the game simply because he would have SO many great stories, I am sure

I do know that Jeff has a copy of the game, so that’s a start I have spoken to Jeff before. At that time, he was not available, but I will certainly reach out know that we have Jerry's card.
