Going off COTG Wiki, Rosters here are the additions by year.
2076 - Cosmos, Mimic, Rama and Tano
2077 - Mangus, Silvar
2078 - Caiman, Hechilles
2079 - Tantalis, Parsec, Star Warrior
So if the next set is two years it would be six "official" cards. There are five in 2078/2079 by COTG Wiki Roster standards.

I feel like we are out of luck with that one. I'm thinking the Canon is Amazonia and Ms Liberty are the first women. I'd be shocked but happy if we see any women or even managers in these sets. I'll guess we get 76-77 and pretty much on par with what you would expect if you played early classics. Maybe a slight surprise but nothing that rewrites history. Retcons are tricky. I don't mind them around the edges, especially if it addresses conflicting pieces of the story or supplements what's already written in an additive sense. On the other hand, I don't like complete re-writes of major story arcs that have already been established as canon. I believe that's one of the reasons behind Tom creating Secret History. It allows for some retconning around the edges with female characters who were around in the earlier days of the GWF without changing the canon that Amazonia, Cassandra and Ms. Liberty were the first official female members of the roster.

Yeah I totally get it, I always thought George Lucas was dumb for redoing things but then I got with some small edits I have had to do in my fed through the years.
Hopefully though classics does something I really wanted to do and that was include Cordanus as Tyranny close to 2087. No idea where that card went on me and wanted to use again.

Really like the art and really want to get back to my EC fed now. What a pleasant surprise to see this teaser.

4 new wrestlers and 1 update. That is a nice start.

Interesting, I wonder, since this is Reimagined, EC doesn't just follow Mike's original work, but also expands on it. As evident by the enhancement talent we got w/ Promoter Prime. Now that they've shown that they're going to go 1 year at a time, at least to start here, if we get more enhancement talent, more 1 and done wrestlers that come in and wash out quickly and/or more upgrades that can show more incremental growth for the next 10 years from 2076-86.
I say this as it feels a little 'odd' to me to have a 5 card set that is 1 upgrade and 4 new cards. It seems more in line with previous release sets to release an 8 card set and then 3 more enhancement w/ PP.

That would require a lot of one shot wrestlers and I don't think Mike wants to fill the sets with one year guys (especially if you add another three for PP) It's the problem when you're primarily updating previous material instead of creating it from the start.

Is it all going to be enhancement talent? I feel like we could get some mini mid level storylines or feuds.
I'd like to think just because it hasn't been talked about before we can't see a couple cool mid level guys that maybe we're there 5-10 years but maybe werent friends with omega and morpheus so there story gets kind of forgotten.

I would venture a guess that the storyline is going to basically remain the same. I just assume that because the LOW release is four cards, this release is going to be smaller as well. It just makes sense in my head. No insider info - but it is, thus far, moving at the same rate of speed as the Early Classics. Additionally, no one knows what the Pro Prime cards will be - maybe it will be the cards for 2077 as well or at least partially. We also don't know what the winter release and pro prime cards will be, I assume maybe updated cards for those wrestlers that are from previous sets that you need for Myth Worlds. But again. who the hell knows.
