I am probably in the minority but am enjoying Early Classics much more than the Myth Worlds release. Looking forward to the new additions as I have not come close to exhausting matchups yet.
1st Champion was Omega who was defeated by KO Keller. Omega turned back Morpheus and Santon in a handful of his title defenses. Omega is scheduled for a rematch against the new champ.
My tag champions are now Paladin Power who are holding off my first champions Defiance after a recent title switch. The teams have reached a blowoff POW match due to a best of three falls where a DDQ tied the match at 1-1 but Solar Flare won by count-out over Blood.
I mostly play Legends with EC as my secondary fed, and on occasion the TOC starter set.

I like their art but not the background. Standing in front of a brick wall is a bit strange. But if they stood behind it we would not be able to see them.  I think the wall, and the graffiti on it, is to represent their youthful and rebellious nature. |

I don't have my records from my COTG black and white card feds, but I remember the Wind Riders won the tag team championship multiple times during my original Early Classics Period.
I plan to order this set as soon as Presales begin but I am going to wait to play it by continuing my Early Classics fed until I make my annual trip to Europe (Barcelona this year) in December as it is much easier for me to travel with the COTG cards I am currently playing vs all the Indies and LOW cards I would be using at any certain time.
