I know I've told you this before, but I'm going to tell you again about that day I almost died 3 times. That should open every conversation every podcast Tim

I did... but not in one sitting, I broke it up over the weekend. I love that dedication!

I love how Tim mentioned that in talking to the other fans that soon after they feared for their life, once they felt safe they all thought it was awesome. Only in wrestling!

I love how Tim mentioned that in talking to the other fans that soon after they feared for their life, once they felt safe they all thought it was awesome. Only in wrestling! I think we had all heard the stories of crazy crowd heat back in the territory days (riots, death threats, wrestlers being stabbed, etc.). But we all thought that was a thing of the past that we would never experience in a live event setting in the mid-1990s. Once we saw it, and were actually a small part of it, the feelings were incredible. I'm sure the folks in attendance for Fan Week will be telling the Louisville tale for many years to come. One thing I forgot to mention about the Louisville Gardens - what the hell was going on with the lighting? I understand turning the house lights down during the matches, but it looked like there was a 60 watt light bulb over the ring. It was a dark and foreboding place...

They did it because it focused on the action in the ring

A programming note: Uncharted Territory will not drop this week. I was without power for 36 hours and was unable to record on our usual night. Hopefully, we will be back with Episode 192 next week. Thanks for your continued great support!

Remember, when a person tells you the story of how they almost died you should always ask, "did you survive" or "so did you live thru the experience" or something of that nature.
