upcoming FSW set

now that the news has been announced, I wanted to give this upcoming FSW set a new thread with the FSW name in the title

Tom earlier in the year told me he wanted to do a set with a regional promotion so I suggested FSW, not only because they are my local Indie fed, because they have a recent history of producing great talent, for example:

Solo Sikoa, who recently main evented Summerslam against Cody Rhodes, is an FSW alumni who we have in the game as Sefa Fatu in a special online con release and he is a FSW Wall of Famer.

Karrion Kross (who we have in the game as Killer Kross,) who on RAW is currently feuding with the New Day, first trained at and made his name at FSW and he is a FSW Wall of Famer.

Zoey Stark (there is a CWFH card for her as Lacey Ryan,) who teams with Shayna Baszler, trained at and first made her name in FSW and she is a FSW Wall of Famer.

LA Knight (who we have in the game as Shaun Ricker,) the current WWE United States Champion, did not train at FSW but he was a FSW regular as Eli Drake and a 2-time FSW Heavyweight Champion and he is a FSW Wall of Famer.

There are multiple names in this set who I could also see being future WWE or AEW singings including the name who I think is getting announced next week.

a teaser without giving anything specific away:

most of the remaining 7 names in this set will be getting their first-ever Filsinger Games card, but there will be 1 of those 7 remaining names getting an updated Filsinger Games card

also, as I mentioned on the Indie panel back in June, most of this set has alot of reach in the sense that you could know most of these names even if you do not follow FSW (although every FSW show is available both live and on replay on Triller at no additonal cost if you have a Triller subscription which IMO is well worth the money- I only pay like $6/month- for every GCW show, every HOG show, every FSW show, etc)

for example, Chris Bey is also well known for his work in TNA where he is a former X Divison Champion and a 3-time TNA Tag Team Champion with Ace Austin.

in addition to TNA for Chris Bey, you may also know some of these names from places such as NJPW STRONG, GCW, etc

Woohoo!! Love this as the first name. The CWFH bootleg has had some really good matches for me and has come close to some massive wins

This is awesome news Vegas! And db1091, I am also stoked on the first name as his CWFH card has been solid in singles and tagged up with Ace Austin they are close to getting their shot at tag gold. First name and I am already excited and I can't wait to see who else we get. This set is going to rock & rule!

Updates wise, I reckon this could be the set for the updated Alex Hammerstone, given he has been an option in the previous two PP end of year update polls. Although, perhaps Royce Isaacs could be an option for it if Jorel Nelson is in as well.

Hoping for people like Matt Vandagriff, Brittnie Brooks, Gregory Sharpe, Brooke Havok to be in the set. There's plenty of cool options in the FSW roster though, so really excited to see what comes in this set!

Glad to have a Chris Bey card in Filsinger proper. I figured this might be the promotion and glad to see it. They have some very cool names.

Santana Jackson actually started his career in FSW as he was working on The Strip doing his Michael Jackson impersonation at the tribute show MJ Live when he started training at FSW. FSW's promoter told me that originally Santana Jackson was not going to use the Michael Jackson gimmick, but he convinced him to do it and then he went viral with millions of views when he first hit his MOONWALK DDT on an FSW show.

Ironically, Santana Jackson hit that MOONWALK DDT on Royce Isaacs when FSW was briefly having Isaacs go by the name of Drake and it was at a time when Michael Jackson's family was upset with the singer Drake using some of Michael Jackson's previously unreleased vocals in a song so Santana Jackson went viral hitting his MOONWALK DDT on a guy named Drake.
