It looks like the fans have spoken and with an overwhelming 57 percent, we're going to be doing Reimagined versions of the original characters and all new characters. There's a team of people working with me on this project right now and I want to take the time to list them below. There is no way I could do this without them. Shane Sullivan, TTX, bear805, rkbrasse, @ draygun1972 and myself. I want to thank every one of the original promoters who helped and worked on the original L-FSCE set. Without them this wouldn't be possible. While we won't be doing everything exactly as the first L-FSCE set was, we are hoping that people will enjoy the content we are trying to deliver to out fellow promoters. So far I've gotten approval/blessing from the creators of every character we'll be putting out in our first set. I'm hoping I can get ahold of the creator of every character but that may not be possible. With that being said I would think that if I do release a character that I haven't gotten permission for, the creator would be okay with us doing it. But if I do and that person's doesn't want it released, I find a way to remove it. Currently we aren't sure how the territory compendium from the original set will fit in with how we are doing these reimagined versions, but we'll keep everyone informed when we come to a decision on that. One thing that these reimagined sets will differ from the original is that we are going to give more background on how and where these characters fit into the early years of the GWF. The original L-FSCE mission statement was that set was meant to be more of a plug and play type of set where it wasn't Static but more Dynamic in nature. I want to propose changing that somewhat. We all know that usually when it comes to bootlegs, promoters will most likely use them how they want and go with some of the origin story (or none of it) but play them how they want in their promotions. We would like to have the years these characters were active in the GWF known so that we could also create/continue storylines for them. For example, in the original version, the Sol-Can Connection had a small mention that Bud and Kal parted ways. How did that happen? When did it happen? Another example is Static, his bio stated he was an addict hooked on the cause of his physical transformation and he seeks to further "improve" himself. Was he able to do so, how did the improvements affect him? These are the kind of storylines we'd like to continue. With this we might wind up having updated versions of these characters or just have them written out of the GWF since they moved on to other endeavors. However, some things will remain the same. Such as the use of "Old School Card Mechanics". We want these cards to closely conform to the current FG rules that are being used for the reimagined Early Classic sets. We won't have anyone more powerful or statistically better than the Main Eventers of these sets. Therefore, while we do have some "gimmicks" being used for cards it won't be things like Add 1 moves, three finishers, etc. There is a great example of this in one of the new characters created for this set. Don't worry this game mechanic is not only one of the most original ideas I've seen in a while, his origin/bio also has a built-in reason for why a promoter could choose to have him leave the GWF if needed. Now onto the good stuff. The sets will be available to everyone via PDF and stored in the archives to use or to print as needed if they prefer having physical cards to play with. We are thinking that the sets will be 8 characters/cards to a set as well as a handbook. We are hoping to have 6 reimagined versions of the original characters and 2 new characters in a set. We haven't decided on if this will be a twice a year type of thing or maybe even 4 sets a year depending on how well we can pull all of this off. Also out of those 8, we'll try to have 6 singles wrestlers and 2 will be tag team wrestlers. This might not always come out this way, for example the first teaser for this set is none other than Cobra Rex. He's a tag team wrestler without an official tag team. Stay tuned for more information coming from the L-FSCE crew. If you'd like to join the L-FSCE crew in creating and updating characters, please contact me via email at cotgbootlegs@gmail.com

The next teaser for the first L-FSCE Reimagined set is none other than the "Man of Mystery" Static. There are rumors running around that the "Genetic Freak" could be a subject of a Gen. Ind. experiment. If he was, it was somewhat a success as Static is incredibly strong for his height but seems to have a slightly distorted sense of reality. How will he perform in your fed? Find out next Wednesday Oct 9th, when we release, L-FSCE Set 1. The sets will be available to everyone via PDF and stored in the archives to use or to print as needed if they prefer having physical cards to play with.
