I found the Star Wars Trading Post and bought a couple of things there. It turns out though the Avengers store I was thinking about does not actually open until next year.

I spent way more time last night than I planned to last night at Ballast Point Brewery in Downtown Disney lol.
I originally just stopped in for a beer but then at the bar I met a Dodgers girl (she was a knockout) right before Game 1 of the Yankees-Dodgers World Series was about to start.
An idiot fan on the other side of the bar mockingly said right before first pitch that Vin Scully woukd say "Dodgers baseball" and she correctly redirected him into saying that Vince Scully would actually say "It is time for Dodgers Baseball." It was important for her that he got the quote right as her late father was a Dodgers fan and he has that quote on his urn.
Undfortuantely that idiot was also a Yankees fan and he said something stupid which caused her to leave which sucked as I really liked her alot. I am not a Dodgers fan but I was glad to see them win last night so that dumbass lost after he chased that awesome woman away who was sitting next to me at the bar.

home now (actually been home for a couple of hours but caught a couple hours of sleep) and am now watching Bound for Glory (not live as I started it from the beginning.)

That grand slam by Freeman in the 10th was karma coming back to bite him in the ass. oh, I would not say he necessarily blocked me from anything but it was cool to be sitting next to a woman who was well versed in baseball lots of Dodgers shirts at California Adventure yesterday which is understandable as it was SoCal and the Dodgers are in the World Series, But to me it still just seemed a little off to me at the bar last night when they started playing the song I Love LA (a song commonly played at Dodgers games) as we were literally within walking distance of the Angels ballpark in Anaheim. overall I had alot of fun at California Adventure yesterday! I usually go to a theme park every year on one of my 3-day wekends (either Nevada Day Weekend or Veternas Day Weekend) and I think next year I might go back to Universal Studios as I have not yet seen Super Nintendo World. |

the Spider-Man web slinger ride was fun, the Cars ride was incredible; and the Incredicoaster was cool too (especially the start of the ride on the water as the explosions are going off) The Incredicoster is really good, but yeah that Cars ride is really neat. They are apparently going to work on a Cars Land in Magic Kingdom in Orlando. It will go where Tom Sawyer Island is now, which is basically a dead area of the park, so I am all for that change. You mentioned you need to see Super Nintendo Land at Universal, which I saw last year and it was one of the cooler themed areas of a park I have ever seen. The Mario Kart ride in Bowser's Castle is great, even the queue is very entertaining. They are working on a Super Nintendo Land at the new Universal Park in Orlando, which will have the Mario stuff, plus a Donkey Kong Coaster, Yoshi Ride and other things they dont have room for in California. The Universal Eric park opens next year and will also have another Harry Potter Land and a whole area focused on Universal Monsters. I wont go right away, but I'm sure I'll be there in the next 2-3 years. |
