"Is there a reason why when it’s been stated it would be delivered holidays of 2023 yet here we are in 2024?" This was never officially stated. There was talk about getting it together and speculation about a possible release date, but that's it. A lot of work has been done on this project and since the interest is there we can shoot for 2025. When this holiday season is over the gang at Fed HQ will be working on the 2025 schedule and more info will be available at that time. TOM , it's your story, so you get to tell it as you want. I attended GalactiCon 2022 in person when Vol 1 of the ringside companion was released and those in attendance were told that Vol 2 would be released around GalactiCon 2023. I also attended GalactiCon 2023 in person where everyone in attendance was told that it would be available around the holidays of 2023. I'm not even going to bother spending my time going through all the different threads where various comments were made concerning this exact issue, nor will I any longer try and explain why this type of behavior from your company is actual unacceptable. Your above statement gives me all the information I need to know. I do not expect anyone to back me up on this issue since I know I’m going to be ostracized by the community for daring to question the hierarchy of this company. I hope that when you once again ask "your loyal promoters" what you could be doing to make your product better, you remember this conversation. A once loyal promoter (that has played this game since 1988), loyal no longer.

I'd hope you reconsider playing, but no one (other promoters) should question any other promoter if they feel like they have a concern.

A once loyal promoter (that has played this game since 1988), loyal no longer. I get where you're coming from. It was never "officially stated" but people who do actual work for FG were certainly led to believe that it was due for release for holiday '23 and no one was exactly rushing to quiet them down when they were publicly saying so. When something on Uncharted Territories or a Legends panel is said regarding an upcoming Legends set, I'm certainly going to believe it even if it's not "official." I proofread and offered suggestions for the Companion--I am only speaking for me here, not the Olsons and not Vegas, but I was operating and I'm pretty sure they were operating under a Holiday '23 release timeline. We had specifically planned to get things done by September for that reason.

These things happen. It's a labor of love for all involved.
Once again, I want to thank promoters for their support. I will make sure that the Ringside Companion is put on a fast track, and we will announce an official release date probably in January once the holiday rush is over.
Until then remember, Thanksgiving is upon us. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

I never said I didn't care. The person made a clear statement of intention, and I wanted to acknowledge it by offering some positive thoughts.
Naturally I would prefer that the promoter stays with us. I gladly leave the door open to the person continuing to be part of our community. I provided an update about the Ringside Companion and am pleased that promoters love to get more stuff from us. I'm the same way about things that I enjoy.
I still use the first Ringside Companion a lot. It's got an amazing variety of matches. Adding more should be fun also.
What I would like to know from other promoters: Is this a top priority item for 2025? I have been thinking about our potential release schedule for 2025 and it will be helpful to know for planning.
Thank you.

Thank you. Personally, I haven't come close to scratching the surface of playing match stips in the first volume, but if a majority of the community is ready for vol. 2 , then I'm on board as well. Looking primarily forward to more early classics and reimagined sets here. 👍🙏👍

All I know is that I asked when this would be ready during a 2023 Uncharted Territory Ask Me Anything. I remember hearing these words: "Top Dollar, you can bet your bottom dollar that it'll be ready by the end of this year". No explanation was given when it wasn't. Now we're at the end of 2024, and it's still not ready. Hopefully it'll be ready by the end of 2025!
