I figured it had to be before G-Con, but wasn't sure. Thanks guys. Makes me wonder though since Al Snow is in the set....and we already have one woman in the set....could the last card be someone who is real "close" with Snow? She was the first woman to win the hardcore championship, thus original.

This set is going to kick ass! But I do have to say that I don't really see the whole surprise thing and keeping things secret with LOW. Just give the names and you get more pre-orders. I know the surprise thing is definitely needed with GWF because there is some heavy meta-plot going on there.
But with Legends I just find the surprise can really turn people off (when it gets "overhyped" and some of that is people reading into things and setting themselves up. But I think it is a two way street.) from a set if there were guys in it they really didn't want to shell the cash out for. I'm just saying cause I know there has been some whispers and discontent about LOW getting the same Surprise treatment that GWF gets when they are two different games that share the same mechanics.
Personally I don't care as long as I can get my hands on the new set as it is nice to see LOW getting more attention with a new set and LOTF so the brand stays healthy and alive. Only thing that does kinda bother me is the LegendsOnline thing. As long as the cards are still available and there are not "Exclusives" then I think I personally will have no problems with it.

It's not just about trying to surprise anyone necessarily, but more about creating conversation and buzz about the product over the course of time between actually solidifying the roster and releasing the game.
For example, One Man Gang and Adrian Street had people stoked about the set and wondering who else would be included, then the Danielson announcement really had people talking, then a week or so later, the RVD bomb dropped, and just recently the press release getting attention on other sites and mentioning another signing has got conversation picked up again.
We could announce all of those names at once, ask people to pre-order, and then wait for two months until release, but I think Tom prefers to keep that two month waiting period as exciting, and filled with as much buzzworthy conversation, as possible.
Either way, this set has got to be considered one of the best (if not the best) Legends editions yet in terms of roster strength, excitement level, and publicity!

If we get Al Snow is there a possibility of getting his wife, Bobcat?

Hey another couple things, if I remember them long enough!
We never had a fixed LEGENDS ORIGINALS roster so it's not like we can say in April here's the 12 names. We're always scurrying for signings and sometimes wrestlers will get back to us close to deadline.
That's what happened with Rob Van Dam, but Kris nabbed him!
So things are fluid and hence things come off as "surprises."
Hey, and it's a character flaw of mine (one of several) that I love hyping stuff! It's the kid in me.
And finally---we'll always release Legends cards and handbooks for the table version.
And now back to writing MARTIAL LAW 2124...

I concur with Mr. Osk - this could be the single greatest game edition since the original LOW release! Can't wait to get my grubby bass-playin' fingers on these cards!

Hey I totally understand as to why you guys do it but some don't or would rather know all of the list. I figured I would address it and then you folks in the know would explain it. Like I said I don't care either way cause I am going to buy the set regardless.

"Assuming" Al Snow is indeed #11, how cool would it be if "Head" was factored into his card somehow? Is it possible for a wrestler to have a distractor rating work against him? Imagine the possibilities! This is indeed shaping up to be quite THE set!
With RVD & now Snow (maybe), I sense a very strong ECW presence may soon be creeping into my fed, which I'm just about ready to restart. Of course, staying off this board would probably free up some time to actually roll the dice...

Just saw this posted on Wrestling Observer: "--Filsinger Games is releasing a Legends of Wrestling card games on 7/11 with new cards of RVD, One Man Gang, Bryan Danielson, Adrian Street, Al Snow and Maurice Tillet (yes, the original French Angel who was a big draw in 1942). "
They posted this the day before: "-- Filsinger Games is releasing Legends Originals on July 11th, the latest expansion to their Legends of Wrestling card game. It will feature a number of guys including Rob Van Dam, Adrian Street, Al Snow, Maurice Tillet, and Bryan Danielson. I never thought I'd see Bryan Danielson and Maurice Tillet in the same sentence. More info is up at filsignergames.com."
Basically the same thing said, just kind of cool to see it posted on Observer.
