Technically Rush is a new Gladiator, he's never been written into the official GWF storyline, to my knowledge. Now he gets his chance to step up...I bet he killed Rage.

I guess we'll have to wait and see!?

The one in the center looks like a tricked out version of Screw from GWF: Early Classics. He and Santon were the last two Aethran-based wrestlers to wear masks, and there was a good back story behind their wearing the masks. I can't wait to hear the story on this guy!

Screw never really wore a mask though. He had a mouth cover to hide the fact that his lips had/are sewn up from being a slave. But I suppose one could call it a mask because it is "covering" part of his face!?
But anyway, yeah...a Gladiator wearing a mask is different. It sort of reminds me of the movie Gladiator with Russell Crowe when he was wearing the helmet to conceal his identity. Just what is the Aethran Overlord hiding?

This does not definately mean the end of Disaster, Rage and Strafe in my opinion . There is nothing written that they are gone. Maybe it could be the start of another Gladiator war ( although i do think this unliklely ).
In regards to Overmaster being Havoc, this is my angle.... Paralyze was the one who crippled Vengeance, and Havoc was involved in getting Vengeance to the Epoch rendevous. Maybe and just maybe could Epoch, Havoc and Paralyze been in on it together in a kind of double double cross . In return for helping Havoc and Paralyze complete a coup on Aethra which is Epoch's thing they could have been helping Epoch get into a position of power in the GWF .
This could blow my idea that Massif is Iron Hand out of the water mind you so i do not know.
Well done Tom, you have done it again...

Tom is known for his ability to surprise us storyline wise. I'm thinking OverMaster is Havoc. He's wearing a mask now because he willingly removed his face paint, a major Gladiator faux pas. In order to reclaim his heritage he has to wear the mask, just a thought.

What if all three of them are new Gladiators?
