I gotta work Friday until about 5:30 so I won't be in Jamestown until around 9ish. How late is this party going on??? and TM you are not kidding... I just did a google search of sports bars in Jamestown, NY. The closest thing I saw was about 45 minutes away!!!  I do see 2 places in Jamestown "the Q" on W. 2nd St (716) 483-6256 and "The College Inn" on E. 2nd St (716) 665-6125 doesn't say if either gets UFC PPV's though |

Come ANY TIME between 7:00 and 10:00! We traditionally meet for the whole evening!
We'll start the contest promptly at 7:30 and then we'll sell the
**EXCLUSIVE** first release of MARTIAL LAW 2124! This'll be like a Hollywood premiere party!
Given the length of the handbook people will be speed reading for a while and then we'll TALK TALK TALK about everything that's going on! I can't wait. It's a fantastic relaxing start to an awesome weekend!
Just spoke with Chuck Carter and he's excited about GCON also!

While I strongly recommend Mapquest and that GPS thingy, here's my directions to Federation HQ for IRON HAND'S PIZZA PARTY on Friday!
There's two ways to get to Federation HQ. From downtown go on Foote Avenue towards WCA Hospital. Then turn left on Camp Street, it comes up out of nowhere so watch for it! If you get to McDonalds you passed it! There may be construction on Camp Street so go slowly. Keep going on Camp Street past Swanson Rd (on the left). Camp Street has a wide right turn and you'll see Fed HQ (my house) on the left side, a brown stucco house. The address is 1962 Camp Street Extension. It's about a ten minute drive from downtown.
You can also come from Falconer Street or Second Street..Go towards the Sheldon House and turn left on Buffalo Street Extension. Turn right on Swanson and take Swanson until it dead ends on Camp Street. (Careful, there's a "dog leg" on Swanson, so stay straight). Turn left on Camp Street Extension and look for 1962 on the left side
If you get lost call the GWF Space Navigation Hotline at 716-397-3764. Operators like Mutant and the Creeper will be standing by.
Seriously, call if you're lost.

Even if you have a GPS...bring the directions. Tom sometimes has his GPS-cloaking device on his house...just ask toasterboy about that.

It'll be light out if you get there around 7:00, but dark by the end. You will need a GPS and/or directions to get out of there if that happens. Plus your high beams.

You won't be around for the sound recordings either? Sadly, this is also true. But come Sunday, I'm to befriend and bemuse my fellow dice spinners!  Jimmyface, I'll make sure we get you in for at least a few even if it's just with the lower sound-quality mic built into my laptop. You must be heard from! |

Our hotel doesn't offer PPV's in the rooms. The final option will be webcast....According to the schedule, the con is "supposed" to end at 10pm. You know how the con winds down on Saturday night...we could probably make it in time for the first punches if properly motivated... I have a 17" monitor on my laptop so unless jmello, daytondave or Avarice have a bigger one that they will be bringing it looks like we've got this ironed out.. |
