Since you said "COTG" characters, I'm gonna plug my own guys and say Shylock and Saboteur are the current tops for me. Jack of Diamonds held that distinction in my early writing years, and I'll always have a soft spot for him. For GWF, I had good times writing stuff for Spike and Reynard B. Guile (not in the same stories!). But I have to say because of their incredible three-year run as tag champs, the Ninja Assassins will probably always be my favorite GWF characters. For aCe, I'm a Murdok guy. The icky side of me likes Mr. Bloat a lot, too.  |

Thantos and Justice (light or dark) are probably my favorite GWF guys. Of the current crop, I've always liked Epoch.
While I've never done a full-blown CPC/POW or aCe fed, I read everything, so:
I like Pendekar and Shylock in CPC and Nicodemus and Murdok in aCe.

In singles, it would be Lord Nexus, Nefarus, and Janus. In tags, the Greek Gods, the Mercenaries, and the Ninja Assassins.

Without a doubt, Chaos is my all-time favorite! The Mercenaries are my favorite tag team, and Thunder and Godsend are somewhere close to the top of the lovefest, but Chaos was, is and will always be the man!!
