The Hard Truth w/ Kevin Casey as of May 28, 2008
This recurring segment will keep the fans on top of what's really going on in Atlantic Coast Championship Wrestling.
* The battle to settle who is the ACCW Heavyweight champion seems to just be getting started. Mr. Jergensen retained the title over Rob Van Dam but, word is that he is desperate for a re-match. He will do what it takes and wants to prove to everyone, even himself that he can win the big one.
* A strange turn the bizarre love triangle between The Giant Pasian, The Maestro and the lovely Symphony. Was Symphony simply saving her true love by walking out with the big Italian? or Is she the goldigging harlot that she portrayed only a few short weeks ago. Time will tell.
*It certainly doesn't help matters that a new man has been signed from the neighborhood to enter the Paisan's family. Big Vito LoGrasso made his presence felt with a stiff chair to the back of the composer's skull.
*Expect a few changes to the ACCW roster in the weeks ahead. Those leaving, Justin Credible is heading to NWA-Jersey and Thunderlips is letting his injuries heal and has signed for a Japanese tour with All-Japan. He did make sure to get a parting shot in on old foe, Big Whiskey. Finally, Ian Rotten is on a plane back toward the Indys in Louisville. The hardcore innovator had his shares of troubles with the competition here in ACCW.
*The tag scene has been dominated by the thug tactics of the Baseball Furies. They also have seen no problem, "renting" their services to the highest bidder. They have so far had the upper hand in the their gang war with Cryme Tyme but, they may need to start looking out for the models, The House of Style. They have been on a roll and would have no problem facing a fellow set of rulebreakers for the gold.
*One man to keep very close eye on is Gorilla Johnson. The guy is double tough and a mile wide. Would he want a shot a the Heavyweight title?
*Savage T has upped the ante once again in his battles with Steve Corino. This feud may rage all summer and it won't end well for one of them.
*Tv champion, Joey Mercury was more than embarrass by Norman Smiley and he made sure to leave no doubt who was more skilled at Memorial Massacre. But, who's next in line. Perhaps at least one man in the ACCW that wears a mask.
That's all for now - "The Truth hurts ... Don't it?!?"

ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING June 4, 2008 Bel Air, MD The Armory Friday Night Fury
*Craig DeGeorge and Kevin"The Truth" Casey run down the huge card in Richmond. Tonight's card has several revenge minded individuals hoping to dish out the punishment.
*Joel Gertner is backstage with Steve Corino and Tom Ace. Corino has a bandage around his neck. He tells Savage T that he'll have to do a bit better than that. He is upset at himself that he didn't see a sneak attack coming. It doesn't matter that the doctors advised him not to compete, he has a partner that he can trust one hundred percent. Ace says that he's happy to be of service to a great wrestler and American. Cheating just isn't the proper way to success and I must teach the children the right path. Gertner looks ill and throws it back to ringside.
1) "OLD SCHOOL" STEVE CORINO & "ALL AMERICAN" TOM ACE beat SAVAGE T (w/ KJ HILL) and TRIPLE D (w/RONNIE MERVIS) when Ace pinned T with the EAGLES WINGS @ 13:35.
An fast paced opener. Corino and Ace ironed out a few kinks but looked good as a team. The finish saw T fly off the top rope and Ace alertly ducking. He then hit his finisher to end the contest.
*Joel Gertner is with James Mitchell and his NEW CHURCH. Mitchell says that the waiting has been agonizing and that the Church will look to convert new members soon. He challenges anyone to get in the ring with Abyss and live to tell the tale. He just needs willing opponents to sacrifice themsleves so their cause gets stronger.
2) ABYSS (w/JAMES MITCHELL) pinned SHEAMUS O'SHAUNNESY with a POWER BOMB @ 11:32.
The Irish curse was able to match size and strength with the big man. But, he lacked the experience necessary to get the duke. Abyss poured it on and hit the STUTTER STEP AVALACHE into a POWERBOMB to gain the win.
*BACKSTAGE- MYSTERY M is talking with several wrestlers in the back when GORILLA JOHNSON walks by and shoulder bumps him, knocking to to the ground. The masked man hops up and taps him on the shoulder to issue a challenge. Gorilla almost chokes from laughter but says "meet me over there."
3) GORILLA JOHNSON defeated MYSTERY M with a POWER BOMB @ 3:22. M started very quickly and uses his superior speed to gain the advantage. It didn't last long after he missed a moonsault to the concrete floor. He power bombed him twice back inside and covered him with one foot. He wasn't finished and went for more until TIMBER hit the ring with his Barbed wire axe handle. After a few swipes, Gorilla was standing outside the ring yelling back at the big man.
-ACCW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH- 4) THE MERCENARY beat JOEY MERCURY (c) by DISQUALFICATION @ 8:52 when STRETCHER SCHWABELAND hit the ring. The masked man was very sharp and dominated the entire contest. He had the STRAIGHT JACKET CHOKE locked in, when his enemy hit the ring and began choking him with a small chain. The ref had to call for the bell and officials had to be called in to get the crazed Schwabeland off his nemesis.
*Joel Gertner is talking with GIANT PAISAN, NUNZIO, BIG VITO LOGRASSO and SYMPHONY. The young lady appears quiet with her head down. Paisan offers some extra "scratch" to his newest member of the family if he take out the music man tonight. Gertner asks Symphony if she has made her choice and his now with Paisan. She only stares as the big man quickly shuffles her off camera.
5) THE MAESTRO defeated BIG VITO LOGRASSO (w/GIANT PAISAN, NUNZIO & SYMPHONY) with the ENCORE @ 6:26. Maestro was ready for tonight. He was on a roll and used a Double knoggin of the big man and LoGrasso to set up his finisher to get the three count. After his pin he attempted to chase after Symphony who was quickly escorted to the back by Nunzio.
6) CRYME TYME & ROB VAN DAM defeated MR.JERGENSEN (w/MS. BROOKS) & BASEBALL FURIES when JTG pinned Brushback with the G-9 @ 16:46.
All of these men had scores to settle. Lots of action that saw all six men in the ring. A miscue left Brushback exposed and allowed JTG to get the win.

ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING June 11, 2008 Bel Air, MD The Armory Friday Night Fury
*Craig DeGeorge and Kevin "The Truth" Casey introduce the card. Casey is stunned as he mentions that the ACCW Heavyweight title will be defended against the monster ABYSS! Casey is one to pick brains over brawn but brawn is pretty huge in this one.
1) STEVIE RICHARDS & THE BLUE MEANIE defeated NUNZIO & BIG VITO LOGRASSO (w/ GIANT PAISAN & SYMPHONY) when Meanie hit the MEANIE-SAULT on Nunzio @ 8:46.
The huge Pasian led his men out while almost dragging the lovely lady at points. She did not look pleased but did have some new jewlery on her person. The boys were tough and used some crisp tag moves to gain control. Things looked bad after Vito hit his BIG VITO SPECIAL and the ref counted one...two..and that was it. THE MAESTRO had run to the ring and dragged the ref out out. This gave Meanie a chance to show his agility. He ascended the top rope and landed a perfect moonsault on Nunzio as the recovered ref counted three. Paisan was livid as Symphony had a smirk on her face.
*JOEL GERTNER is backstage with TIMBER the INSANE LUMBERJACK. Gertner questions the sanity of the woodsman. Doesn't he realize who he's wrestling? A man that doesn't just beat his competition, he maims them. Timber laughed it off and said that as long as he had his equalizer things would be fine. GORILLA JOHNSON came into camera view and said what he would do with that toothpick in the ring. Both men went nose to nose until officials restrained them.
2) TIMBER beat GORILLA JOHNSON by DISQUALIFICATION @ 2:41 when he refused to heed the officials instructions.
Timber made a fine showing and was in control early. Once the match spilled to the floor, Johnson slammed his head into the ringpost and wouldn't let up. As the official got involved he was tossed to the concrete. ACCW officials had to intervene and Timber grabbed his Barbed wire axe to even the score.
*JOEL GERTNER is on the scene reporting on a brutal attack on TOM ACE while he preparing for his match tonight. Ace is still standing and mentions that the NEW CHURCH will have hell to pay tonight. He'll just have to start with MALACHI first. Ace talks tough but his holding his left shoulder.
3) MALACHI (w/JAMES MITCHELL) beat "ALL AMERICAN" TOM ACE with the PROPHECY @ 7:24.
Ace's shoulder gave him trouble during the match and offered little help with offense. Mitchell tripped up the patriot off the ropes and Malachi finished him off. Mitchell then motioned to the back as THE PLAGUE sped to the ring to complete the job. STEVE CORINO then ran out of the locker area with a steel chair swinging wildly to chase off the heels.
*JOEL GERTNER interviews THE HOUSE OF STYLE - ROMEO VERSACE and ANTONIO ARMANI. He wonders if they will be able to match the roughouse style of the champions. Armani says in his broken english that he isn't worried. They have style, class and one thing the opponents lack intelligence. Versace only wonders if they can get ring outfits that accenutate the title belts.
4) STRETCHER SCHWABELAND beat "MACHINE GUN" KARL ANDERSON with the PSYCHOTIC SLEEPER @ 12:25.
Schwabeland was about out of this match until he used a low blow and several piledrivers to soften up Anderson. After he applied his choke sleeper he kept the hold on until the offical almost had to pry him off.
-ACCW Tag Team Title Match- 5) THE BASEBALL FURIES (c) beat THE HOUSE OF STYLE when Brushback pinned Armani following the DOUBLE PLAY @ 12:22.
The Furies were in control most of the match. They unleashed their tag finish three times before the final count was made.
*GERTNER is with the champion, MR.JERGENSEN and wants to know how he intends to attack the monster. The champ appears insulted. He wishes to inform all of the ill read masses that when he took this piece of tin from that poor excuse of a champion he vowed that he would never lose it and if that meant facing all comers than so be it. I'm always ready. I just hope that he is too.
-ACCW Heavyweight Title Match- 6) MR.JERGENSEN (w/MS.BROOKS) (c) beat ABYSS (w/JAMES MITCHELL) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 18:52 when ABYSS used his manager's cane on the champion.
Jergensen took all the punishment that could be dished out as this match went back and forth to the outside. The masked man became frustrated and smashed his manager's cane across the back of the champion and continued his assault as the ref called for the bell. Back inside he gave the champ a deadly Backbreaker Drop over his shoulders and left him lying as he raised a fist to the air as the screen went blank.

ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING June 18, 2008 Bel Air, MD The Armory Friday Night Fury
VTR rolls from last week as the ACCW Heavyweight Title is being defended and the champion is left in a heap.
*Craig DeGeorge and Kevin "The Truth" Casey open the show. The video tells the story that the champ was able to hold on to his belt but he looks worse for wear. DeGeorge then says that it won't get any easier tonight as the champ will face not just one but two men in his top two contenders - ROB VAN DAM and ABYSS. Casey says that you may be surprised but my money is still on the champ. This and much more.
1) NORMAN SMILEY beat SAVAGE T (w/KJ HILL) with the NORMANS CONQUEST @ 4:56.
T started out fast and used the distraction of his valet to great use. Smiley rallied and had T on the ropes. A TOP ROPE SUNSET got a two count but then STEVE CORINO came to ringside and began chasing KJ from the area. Savage T had words with Corino allowing Smiley to wrap up his submission hold and get the tap out victory.
*JOEL GERTNER is backstage with GUNNER SCOTT. He wants to know how embarassed he feels to be put out by the man he's facing tonight. Scott stares a hole into the chubby announcer and says that Gertner should know about embarrassment. Scott stares back and says that he's ready for payback.
2) NUNZIO (w/GIANT PAISAN & SYMPHONY) beat GUNNER SCOTT with the SICILIAN SLICE @ 8:25.
Scott stormed the ring and was all over Nunzio. The pace quickened and the interference from his boss became hard to overcome. It was interesting to see the young Symphony point out to the ref that Paisan was cheating. The end saw Nunizio hit his finish and Paisan holding down his legs to avoid a kickout as the ref was oblivious.
*JOEL GERTNER interviews GIANT PAISAN and his family. He congratulates him on his victory and wonders what the problem is with his goomar. Paisan laughs it over and delivers a stiff backhand to Symphony. She crumples to the ground and stares at him. That's what you have to do, Joel. You give'em an inch and they take a yard. Listen sweetheart. You think I don't know about you. You tried to use me to make your boyfriend jealous and now that your fun is over you want out. I AM NOT SOME KIND OF JOKE! You work for me now. Tonight, I plan to be rid of that fancy pants MAESTRO once and for all. He better have a good partner or a better chiropractor.
3) THE PLAGUE (w/JAMES MITCHELL) beat "OLD SCHOOL" STEVE CORINO with the DIVING HEADBUTT @ 3:22.
Corino used superior mat skills to take control. But, old foe SAVAGE T was out to even the score from earlier in the night. T jawed with Corino as KJ HILL slipped the masked man an object that he placed inside his hood. He slammed a head butt onto the King of Old School and then then went to the top and finished him off. T and Hill left laughing as TOM ACE hit the scene to check on his partner.
*DeGeorge and Casey run down the main event. It should be fantastic and both seem a little surprised if the champ were to retain. He's been beaten up over the past weeks and both men want a shot to take him out.
*Gertner is in the locker room with THE MERCENARY. Gertner has to give him credit, he dominated the television champion last time they met but the STRETCHER ruined that chance. Mercenary was very short in his answers. He cares about money and the title gets him more of it. I thought I was finished with SCHWABELAND. If he hurts my chance at more money and then I'll have to take something from him in exchange.
-ACCW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH- 4) JOEY MERCURY (c) beat THE MERCENARY with OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE @ 4:10.
This interview was prophetic, as the Mercenary was about to win the belt when the official was knocked down after a turnbuckle whip. The huge masked man landed his HIRED GUN finish and waited for a count that never came. Just then, STRETCHER SCHWABELAND came from under the ring and landed a BRASS KNUCKLES punch to the head of the big man. He was out cold. Both men were out until a new official hit the scene. Mercury draped an arm over his opponent to claim victory.
*GERTNER caught STRETCHER SCHWABELAND in the backstage area. He tried to speak with him but the Stretcher could only ramble on about being a war-genius and a poet-warrior in the classic sense. He asked if the Mercenary knew how to land on fractions and said that he knows tha Asian way completely. Billy Graham taught him. Gertner shook his head in disbelief.
5) THE MAESTRO & SHEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY beat GIANT PAISAN & "BIG" VITO LOGRASSO (w/SYMPHONY) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 7:41 when Symphony kicked the ref during the pin attempt.
Maestro called out his huge 6'6" partner, "The Irish Curse". The match progressed and Maestro was caught in the corner and was hit with a brutal DOUBLE FACE FIRST SUPLEX that had in in trouble. At that point, SYMPHONY ran into the ring and kicked the official in the face and then quickly left the ring. The ref called for the bell and awarded the match to the opponents. Paisan was furious and tried to go after the ref. O'Shaunnessy hit him with a right and soon the brawl was on. Nunzio joined the action and was met by Gunner Scott. It took some time to restore order.
*ACCW Commissoner GREG DEGEORGE explained the rules for the main event. This is a TRIPLE THREAT match which means that only one pinfall or submission would finish the match. So, the champion could lose his title without submitting or being pinned. Also there will be no one at ringside. If anyone comes out during the match, they will be fined and suspended.
-ACCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH- 6) MR.JERGENSEN (c) beat ROB VAN DAM & ABYSS when Jergensen pinned Van Dam with the FINAL EXAM @ 28:32.
This was a classic. Too much action to recount as each had a chance to walk out the winner. The end saw Van Dam in charge over the champion. Earlier he backdropped the huge Abyss over the top rope to the floor and went to the top for the FIVE-STAR FROG SPLASH. The champion moved at the final second and Vam Dam was hurt. The champion then hit the FISHERMAN BUSTER and hooked the leg to retain the belt amidst the boos of the crowd.

ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING June 27, 2008 Wildwood,NJ Wildwood Convention Center Friday Night Fury
*Craig DeGeorge and Kevin "The Truth" Casey open the show. The ACCW is on tour a stone throw from the beach in Jersey. DeGeorge welcomes you to Fury. Casey laughs and wonders why they didn't change the name to Wednesday Warfare, since they were on Wednesdays all month long. DeGeorge said it was a TV conflict but it's been straightened out. But, let's talk about the latest ACCW card on the Fourth of July in Ocean City,MD. A full weekend of action. We should hear more as the night progresses.
*MR.JERGENSEN and MS.BROOKS walk to the ring. The champion looks worse for wear but is still the ACCW Heavyweight title holder. He begins to talk of the great dynasties, the Ming, Mongul and Roman and how you truly don't appreciate greatness until it's gone. I still hold the standard of excellence here in ACCW and will do so until I say otherwise. The commissoner GREG DEGEORGE is out and ready to announce who the next opponent for the champ will be on the INDEPENDENCE DAY BLAST on July 4th. The champion says that he doesn't care and wonders what odds he'll put him up against next time, man-eating sharks or maybe he won't even have to be in the building to wrestle next time. DeGeorge says that instead tonight will be a FATAL FOUR WAY to decide who you will face at this huge card. The contenders are ROB VAN DAM, ABYSS, GORILLA JOHNSON and a mystery man that has just been signed by ACCW ---- SABU! One of these men will face you next week.
1) "MACHINE GUN" KARL ANDERSON beat TRIPLE D (w/RONNIE MERVIS) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 2:16 when D used a Steel Chair.
Triple D was in control early and reversed a whip to the buckle. He charged in and fell to the floor. As Anderson went for a double axe handle, D launched a chair into the face of his foe. He repeatedly slammed the chair on his head and opened a gash and the ref had no choice but to stop it. He continued as ACCW official had to intervene.
*JOEL GERTNER speaks with TRIPLE D and RONNIE MERVIS in the back. Gertner asks what prompted that attack on Anderson. Triple D asks Gertner what it's like to be overlooked. I'm just getting some attention and making some noise so people don't forget just who I am.
2) BIG WHISKEY, "OLD SCHOOL" STEVE CORINO, & "ALL AMERICAN" TOM ACE defeated SAVAGE T (w/KJ HILL) & THE HOUSE OF STYLE when Whiskey pinned T after a DOUBLE SHOT @ 11:21.
Corino nailed his rival with a SUPERKICK into the waiting arms of Whiskey, making his ACCW return and was crunched with the Double Power Bomb for the win. As the faces celebrated they didn't see Malachi attack Tom Ace through the crowd and spray a red mist into his eyes. Ace was rolling on the floor until medical attention could arrive and Corino and Whiskey could fend off the weird Malachi.
*JOEL GERTNER is talking with the ACCW Tag Team champions, THE BASEBALL FURIES. It seems that you have been dominant over the teag scene here in the ACCW. Why do you think you have had such success. Both smile. Intimidation. Just like on the streets you have to establish your territory and we do that. Gertner agrees and adds that they have no opponents for next week's card. He does say that the Commissioner is bringing in a outside team to challenge for the straps. Both laugh and say great- new meat.
3) STRETCHER SCHWABELAND beat STEVIE RICHARDS by DISQUALIFICATION @ 4:22.
Stretcher was in control but, refused to make a pin as he kept pulling up Richards at the last moment. Richards made a comeback and landed a STEVIE-KICK that threw and out of the ring. Richards gave chase and Schwaby backpedaled and ran around the corner. Meanwhile, THE MERCENARY had snuck behind the ringpost and clobbered Schwabeland with a clothesline and put the boots to him. The ref called for the bell due to the outside interference. Mercenary continued and reached down and grabbed a black silk scarf tied to his wrestling karate pants that had some Asian writing on it. He took the prize and left as quickly as he came.
*CRAIG DEGEORGE introduced a VTR piece that is sure to have implications for the next big ACCW card. (GIANT PAISAN, VITO LOGRASSO, and NUNZIO are standing on the boardwalk outside of "Bobby Dee's Casino". Pasian speaks to the camera. "How are ya? I can't complain just checking a few business interests and making as much green as possible. But, I got a few things to say. First a lot of the fans have written in to complain about how I handled my business. Namely smacking that young skirt around. Well, you'll all be happy to know that I don't know where she is and frankly I stopped lookin. Nothing but trouble. I could have given her whatever she wanted and she wants to include me in some kind of game. Ha, I don't roll that way. Second, to the music man. This whole business between us has gotten me a bit bored and I'm ready to end this for good. I got a challenge, you and me no rules, just like on the street. Loser leaves this town for a long time. Whatever you want, a few months, a year, forever. I don't care. Cause this whole thing has wasted my time and money and that's one thing I care most about. My money. So what'll it be my friend. Take your chances. Spin the wheel. Ladyluck aint on your side.
-ACCW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH- 4) JOEY MERCURY (c) beat BLUE MEANIE @ 5:22 with the DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT.
Mercury was too quick and too talented and left the big man to wonder what happened.
*Backstage a video camera was there to catch the meeting between ROB VAN DAM and SABU. Both men stared at each other and then a quick handshake. Van Dam said may the best man win. Sabu just nodded.
5) CRYME TYME defeated THE PLAGUE & MALACHI (w/JAMES MITCHELL) @ 12:32 when JTG pinned Malachi after the G-9.
An exciting tag match as the gangstas almost put away the members of the New Church a few times but several pin saves and Mitchell prevented them. Finally all four were in the ring and after a right knocked down Mitchell, JTG hit the finish on the dazed hillbilly.
-FATAL FOUR WAY - WINNER GETS ACCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE SHOT- 6) ROB VAN DAM defeated GORILLA JOHNSON, ABYSS, and SABU to get the title shot @ 26:11 when he pinned Johnson after a FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH.
Wild encounter. Abyss was hit with a steel chair shot and fell to the concrete. Sabu mounted the ropes and performed a wild slingshot legdrop through a table at ringside on the beast. Johnson had already been whalloped by a few chairs on his skull and before Sabu made his leap he crashed the chair into Johnson's legs dropping him to the mat. Van Dam sprung to the top and flew off to claim the victory.

ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING July 4, 2008 Ocean City, MD Ocean City Convention Center
Summer Sizzler
1) CRYME TYME defeated THE HOUSE OF STYLE by DISQUALIFICATION @ 6:11 when Romeo Versace threw Shad Gaspard into the guard rails and pushed down the official Eric Miller.
Shad and JTG dominated the contest and hit the G-9 on Armani but his partner broke up the pin and pier six brawl started. Versace ended up on the outside and whipped big Shad into the guard rails and then whacked him with a steel chair. The official called for the bell. Armani then tossed JTG to the outside and set him up top of a table, as Versace hit the CATWALK CRUNCH right through. H.O.S. left smiling as officials tended to JTG.
-NO ONE IS ALLOWED AT RINGSIDE- 2) NUNZIO beat GUNNER SCOTT with the SICILIAN SLICE @ 15:56.
A fantastic scientific matchup. Scott took the fight to him with a diving headbutt to the outside. The match had several near falls until a costly error by Scott allowed for the FLYING LEG DROP finish.
-ACCW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH- 3) JOEY MERCURY (c) beat BIG WHISKEY by COUNTOUT @ 14:03.
Another thrilling bout. Early on, the official was knocked out by Whiskey with an errant elbow. The match continued and the challenger punished the champion with a variety of power moves. The tide shifted as a new ref entered and Mercury hit a dropkick that knocked the big man to the floor. Mercury then unleashed a SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT that flattened the challenger. Mercury was able to slide back in to avoid the ref's ten count and retain the belt.
4) MYSTERY M & "ALL AMERICAN" TOM ACE beat MALACHI & THE PLAGUE (w/ JAMES MITCHELL) when M pinned The Plague with the MYSTERIOUS WAYS @ 7:21.
Ace and M passed out mini-American flags before the match to the kids at ringside. Ace was also wearing protective Rec Specs due to the eye injuries suffered at the hands of Malachi last week. Ace wrestled inspired and hardly let the opponents get in a move. The end saw the masked man hit the MYSTERIOUS WAYS and grab the duke as the fans sang "MY COUNTRY TIS OF THEE" after the heels left.
-COAL MINER'S GLOVE MATCH- 5) "OLD SCHOOL" STEVE CORINO beat SAVAGE T (w/KJ HILL) in 4:10 with the VICTORY PLEX.
Corino didn't get much resistance in this one. He retrieved the glove first and after a shot to the face, he locked in the VICTORY PLEX to get the win. He wasn't finished, as he pounded away on T with the glove. Hill ran into the ring and jumped on Corino's back. But, he stood up and then hit a DDT on her. Both were left in a heap as Corino left victorious.
-BACK ALLEY BRAWL- LOSER LEAVES ACCW for 120 DAYS- 6) GIANT PAISAN beat THE MAESTRO with the SLEEP WITH DA FISHES @ 8:22.
A lot of history behind this one. Maestro started strong and had things in hand until he missed a turnbuckle charge. Most of the fans hoped to see SYMPHONY but she never showed. Paisan finshed it off with the CHOKEBOMB to send the music man packing.
7) GORILLA JOHNSON beat TIMBER by COUNTOUT @ 5:37.
Both men attacked each other before the bell. The bout was in and out of the ring and Johnson was able to get all 270 pounds of his opponent up in the air and then press him through the ringside table. Timber wasn't moving after the ref counted ten and had to be helped to the back. *Timber will miss 1 card due to back injury
-ACCW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH- 8) THE JAMES GANG beat THE BASEBALL FURIES by DISQUALIFICATION @ 20:33 when Southpaw used his BASEBALL BAT to break up the pin.
The crowd was excited as the Commissioner's mystery team turned out to be the former DX members. They played to the crowd and the had the champs in major trouble. After a botched move by the Furied, Kip James hit a FLYING LEG DROP and went for what might have been the winning fall but, Southpaw had already grabbed the bat and started swinging. BG James grabbed his own chair and started to swing as well fighting off the champs from any more attack.
-DOG COLLAR MATCH- 9) STRETCHER SCHWABELAND beat THE MERCENARY with the PSYCHOTIC SLEEPER @ 17:22.
Another brutal chapter in this feud. Both men were bleeding, even Mercenary through his mask. Both men used the chain to effectiveness. Mercenary went for a move off the top but, Stretcher crotched him and locked in his chokeout move.
-ACCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH- 10) MR.JERGENSEN (c) (w/MS.BROOKS) beat ROB VAN DAM with a FOREIGN OBJECT @ 18:22.
Van Dam was close to victory once again but the distraction by the champ's grad student was too much. Van Dam hit the ROLLING THUNDER and the ref counted but Brooks stood up on the apron and threatened to expose her top. The official jumped up and ordered her down. But, no one saw the shiny object that she tossed to her man. The champ picked it up and blasted Van Dam with it and then threw it in the crowd. The ref turned around and that was it.

The Hard Truth w/ Kevin Casey as of July 6, 2008
This recurring segment will keep the fans on top of what's really going on in Atlantic Coast Championship Wrestling.
*Kudos to ACCW commissioner Greg DeGeorge as he put together a great card for the SUMMER SIZZLER. We look forward to what he has in store for the fans for the months to come.
*Both SABU and THE JAMES GANG were simply one shot deals for the time being. That doesn't mean that you may not see them in an ACCW again or perhaps for a longer stay.
*The ACCW Heavyweight title picture is starting to get crowded as the champion, MR. JERGENSEN with the help of his lovely grad assistant, MS. BROOKS is fighting off every challenge he can. ROB VAN DAM, ABYSS, and now GORILLA JOHNSON appear to want shots at the gold. The toll may be too much and my money may be on one of the big men to catch the champion on an off day.
*THE MAESTRO is on his way to the Carolina Indies and word is he will probably stay there for a while. The biggest question mark is SYMPHONY, storylines aside, no one has actually seen or heard from this young woman since the last FURY TV card. We only hope that all is well.
*There are talks with several Independent superstars from all over and you may see a new influx of talent in the coming months. Several LEGENDS OF THE FUTURE that no one will want to underestimate.
That's all I got for ya now. "The Truth Hurts.....Don't It."

ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING July 11, 2008 Bel Air, MD The Armory Friday Night Fury
VTR *Tape of SUMMER SIZZLER shows highlights of all the matches from this huge card*
BACKSTAGE: The show starts with the camera on the hallway outside the dressing room area. JOEL GERTNER is walking with his mic and notices. FATHER JAMES MITCHELL with his charge, ABYSS speaking with GORILLA JOHNSON. Gertner wonders what is going on and tries to get a word with Mitchell. He simply says that some conversations are private and smirks a bit as they close the door to a near room.
*CRAIG DEGEORGE and KEVIN "THE TRUTH" CASEY set the stage for tonight's card. Lots of excitement last Friday. THE MAESTRO has left the ACCW as a result of his loss and still no word from the beautiful SYMPHONY. The main event tonight will be a special contenders challenge as ROB VAN DAM , who came so close to becoming the ACCW Heavyweight champion takes on the human wrecking ball, GORILLA JOHNSON. That and much more.
1) TIMBER defeated SAVAGE T (w/KJ HILL) with the MOONSAULT @ 3:44.
Timber was still a bit shaky after his encounter with Gorilla Johnson last week but he ignored doctor's orders and demanded a match on tv. He had little trouble with Savage T and dispatched him with a high flying MOONSAULT. He then took the mic and called out Gorilla Johnson. He wanted everyone to now especially him that he is just fine. But he wonders next time if they could wrestle with a few toys. Maybe next week.
BACKSTAGE: JOEL GERTNER is with STRETCHER SCHWABELAND. Gertner wonders if his feud with THE MERCENARY will ever see it's end. Schwaby stares at him and says it can all end when he wants it to. But, that masked theif must return the most sacred piece of cloth that he has ever held to me. Gertner is puzzled. Stretcher goes into a wild story about his days training with Superstar Graham in the desert and on the last day his master gave him his judo belt. It belongs to me and when I retrieve it his nightmare can end.
2) NUNZIO & BIG VITO LOGRASSO (w/GIANT PAISAN) and STEVIE RICHARDS & THE BLUE MEANIE fought to a DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION @ 11:23.
Paisan's boys were looking for a bot of revenge since last time these four met. Nunzio was on his game as he kept things close to the mat. After a few tags, Vito had the Meanie in trouble and hit the CODE OF SILENCE. Richards rushed the ring and broke the count with a stomp to the head. Nunzio joined in an the ECW alumi broke out into a full scale brawl. All four started to go out into the crowd and tossed chairs and any other objects fans provided them. The ref had seen enough and called for the bell. Casey recognized a small "ACCW" chant out in the audience.
3) "HOT PROPERTY" ANTONIO ARMANI (w/ ROMEO VERSACE) beat NORMAN SMILEY by COUNTOUT @ 5:41.
Smiley was cheered loudly as he wiggled his way for his next match. The House was splitting for a singles match instead. Smiley was all offense and hit a swinging bodyslam and was ready for the BIG WIGGLE. Versace quickly got Smiley's attention and got him to chase Versace about the ring. Armani then picked an object out of his tights and ambushed Norman across the jaw. He then rolled back in when Smiley couldn't answer the count.
RINGSIDE: CRAIG DEGEORGE pulled Armani and Versace from their post match runway dance and questioned them about their tactics. Armani claimed that they would do what they want when they wanted to. His bravery stopped when he was grabbed by two large figures with red scarves over their faces. It was CRYME TYME! They began to beat on Armani in the crowd and soon Versace joined the melee. Officials needed to be called in to restore order to the show.
4) MYSTERY M beat THE PLAGUE (w/JAMES MITCHELL) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 9:20 when Mitchell used a FIREBALL.
The huge masked man had overpowered his smaller opponent most of the match. He escaped a DIVING HEADBUTT and then started using a variety of agility moves. He hit the dropsault and then hit the MYSTERIOUS WAYS. Plague was in deep trouble until Mitchell stepped through the ropes and produced a FIREBALL and tossed it into the eyes of MYSTERY M! The official immediately called for the bell as they tried to get medical attention to him. Further word will be given on the condition of Mystery M as TOM ACE and STEVE CORINO hit the scene to make sure nothing else happened. GREG DEGEORGE will make a ruling next week about this heinous action.
-ACCW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH- 5) JOEY MERCURY (c) and BIG WHISKEY wrestled to a NO CONTEST.
Before the match was set to begin. Whiskey made his entrance to his ELVIS tune. The crowd was pumped up as he shimmied his way to the ring and took a quick swig of his favorite drink. JOEY MERCURY stood behind him and then got out of the way as the BASEBALL FURIES attacked Whiskey from behind! The used their Baseball Bats with merciless fercocity. They pounded away until he was almost unconscious. Once again, TOM ACE, STEVE CORINO, and other from the back were out. Whiskey was in terrible shape and had to be stretchered out. He barely loved as the EMTs took him away and then Furies left the area. Looks like the Commish's office will be full this week as some of the wrestlers look to eliminate their competition. *Big Whiskey is out 12 cards*
-Contenders Match- 6) ROB VAN DAM beat GORILLA JOHNSON @ 5:12 with the VAN TERMINATOR.
Johnson threw Van Dam into the ropes and was caught with a flying double fist to the face. He staggered about and after a low blow fell to the canvas. Van Dam quickly sprung to the top and hit the FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH. As he was about to go for the cover, JAMES MITCHELL and ABYSS were out at ringside. Mitchell distracted the ref as ABYSS grabbed Van Dam by the neck and dropped into a neck snap on the ropes. Abyss stepped up and was caught by a surprise spinning kick by Van Dam that caught him on the face. Johnnson had recovered and now had a chair. He swung at Van Dam , who ducked and the force of it bounced off and smacked himself in the head. He fell back into the buckle with the chair still over his head. Van Dam didn't waste time. He climbed to the top opposite and flew off dropkicking the chair off his skull. Johnson was out as Van Dam got the pin.

ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING July 18, 2008 Bel Air, MD The Armory Friday Night Fury
IN RING: ACCW Commissioner, GREG DEGEORGE is in the ring to open the show. He says that he's had a lot of time to think and to speak with the executive board of ACCW. He loves the hard hitting action but things were more than out of hand and as the man in charge it's time for me to act. Start with the tag team champions, THE BASEBALL FURIES. No doubt you have it clear that you will do whatever the dollar tells you. You both attacked BIG WHISKEY and he will be out the next 11 cards. So, you have both been suspended for 6 cards and as a result will have to forfeit the ACCW tag team titles effective immediately. A tournament will begin next week on television. JOEY MERCURY has been fined for involvement in soliciting an attack on his top contender and he will defend his title again here tonight. Also, JAMES MITCHELL, your actions of throwing a Fireball at MYSTERY M were shocking and only because this man wears a mask did he not sustain life threatening injuries. You are also suspended for 5 cards and you may not be in the building at all. If you are you will be terminated. I hope I have made myself clear.
*CRAIG DEGEORGE and KEVIN "THE TRUTH" CASEY are shocked at the heavy hand of the commish. Casey laughs that he didn't think your brother had it in him. Lots of action tonight and will the locker roon take heed of this example.
1) TRIPLE D (w/ RONNIE MERVIS) beat GUNNER SCOTT by COUNTOUT @ 7:33.
Triple D was in control and seems to have a focused anger to his matches lately. He tossed Scott to the floor and Mervis began to distract the official. D then delivered a punishing DIAMOND SPIKE DDT on the concrete floor. He then rolled back and the official counted ten and Scott was still out. D took the mic and screamed that he won't be forgotten. Ever again!
BACKSTAGE JAMES MITCHELL is on his way out being led by security and ABYSS is with him. GORILLA JOHNSON walks by and Mitchell address him. "It's your turn. A promise is a promise." Johnson brushes him aside and heads to the ring. Mitchell just looks at his monster and smirks.
-FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE- 2) GORILLA JOHNSON beat TIMBER @ 5:11 with the SNAKE BITE in the aisle.
A quick, brutal match. The tide only turned once and Gorilla took full advantage. During the match, ABYSS was out and had an intense staredown with Johnson after the match. No blows were thrown but the fans were intrigued by the possibility.
3) THE HOUSE OF STYLE, "BIG" VITO LOGRASSO & NUNZIO beat CRYME TYME, STEVIE RICHARDS & BLUE MEANIE @ 12:23 when Armani pinned Richards with the HOT SHOT.
It was hard to keep up with all the action that an eight man tag can bring with it. The end saw a huge brawl and the legal man using his finisher to get the duke.
-ACCW TV TITLE MATCH- 4) JOEY MERCURY (c) beat "ALL AMERICAN" TOM ACE with the NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX @ 16:22.
A fantastic wrestling match. Mercury reversed an attempted suplex by Ace and was able to hook in a version of his own. He grabbed a fistfull of tights and retained the title.
5) THE MERCENARY and STRETCHER SCHWABELAND wrestled to a NO CONTEST @ 1:00.
The match never got underway as the two tore into each other after the introductions. Mercenary actually hid under the ring and snuck up behind his rival and the fight was on. They fought into the crowd and the ref could never get this really started.
ACCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH- 6) MR. JERGENSEN (c) (w/MS.BROOKS) beat "OLD SCHOOL" STEVE CORINO by DISQUALIFICATION @ 17:42.
This was a great wrestling match that was marred by an unusual attack by GORILLA JOHNSON on the champion. Corino backdropped the title holder to the floor and Johnson who had already picked up a chair slammed it on his right arm several times. He made no attempt to hide it and the ref called for the bell. The show closed as ABYSS met JOHNSON at the ramp and nodded in approval as Johnson walked away.

ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING July 25, 2008 Bel Air, MD The Armory Friday Night Fury
IN RING: ACCW Commish, GREG DEGEORGE is in the ring with a clipboard announcing the pairings for the first round of the tournament. As he speaks, THE BASEBALL FURIES walk out to ringside and sit in the front row. DeGeorge asks them to leave and they each hold up a ticket. I guess there isn't anything else he can do. He also announces a huge main event to hopefully put an end to this bitter feud as STRETCHER SCHWABELAND and THE MERCENARY engage in a SINGAPORE CANE MATCH!
ACCW TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT - FIRST ROUND:
1) CRYME TYME defeated TRIPLE & SAVAGE T (w/RONNIE MERVIS & KJ HILL) when Shad Gaspard pinned T with the G-9 @ 4:22.
The single letters didn't seem to have much focus. In fact, Triple D didn't even get into the contest in this one. The gangstas cut the ring off and went to work. After several double team moves they put T away with their finisher and then pointed at the Furies in the front row. D and his manager were disgusted and simply left the ring and didn't attend to his partner at all.
2) STEVIE RICHARDS & BLUE MEANIE beat "BIG" VITO LOGRASSO & NUNZIO (w/ GIANT PAISAN) when Richards hit the STEVIE KICK on Nunzio @ 12:21.
This bout had so many near falls it was hard to count. Each team was able to make a pin save and once again when all four hit the ring it made the difference. Richards hit a TORNADO DDT and went for the cover but LoGrasso had entered to ring and hit a stomp and as Richards popped up he ducked a clothesline that nailed Nunzio instead just as he staggered to his feet! Meanie then took out Vito and Richards stomped his foot. He then leveled Nunzio as he rose to his feet and they get the three count. As the fans celebrated, Meanie got a bit too close to the former champions and they both attacked him from behind. Security rushed to ringside and escorted both Furies out of the building.
BACKSTAGE: JOEL GERTNER interviews ACCW Champion, MR.JERGENSEN with MS. BROOKS. He wants to know what it feels like to be hunted and how he plans to deal with it. The champion frowns at Gertner. I thought you were smarter that the rest of the plebeians. I have held this belt for a long while and I wil continue to do so simply because I am smarter than anyone else. Van Dam, Abyss, Johnson anyone can step up if they like. But, my technique is second to none. Isn't that right, Ms Brooks. She smiles and they exit.
3) MALACHI & THE PLAGUE defeated "ALL AMERICAN" TOM ACE & "OLD SCHOOL" STEVE CORINO when Malachi hit the PROPHECY on Corino @ 14:21.
Many insiders felt that the New Church would be lost without the suspended JAMES MITCHELL but they got past some early miscommunication and looked too strong. After a reversal of a turnuckle whip, Malachi quickly hit his finish and got a quick cover to move on.
4) THE HOUSE OF STYLE defeated NORMAN SMILEY & MYSTERY M when Romeo Versace pinned Smiley with BLUE STEEL @ 5:21.The Italians were very tough and hit three double teams that had the faces in trouble. Versace hit a SUPERKICK and tagged to his partner and they hit the BLUE STEEL to move on.
BACKSTAGE: JOEL GERTNER speaks with ROB VAN DAM. He wants to know why it's taken him so long to win a title here in ACCW. Van Dam isn't concerned. I'm enjoying myself and when the time is right I can take what I want. He then spots ACCW TV champion, JOEY MERCURY walking by. Like now. Van Dam steps over and looks him up and down. Next week, you and me for that belt. Mercury laughs and turns his head. Van Dam spins hm around and slaps him. Get the message. RVD walks away as the champion holds his face.
-SINGAPORE CANE MATCH- 5) STRETCHER SCHWABELAND beat THE MERCENARY with the PSYCHOTIC SLEEPER @ 4:02.
Mercenary said that he had a surprise before the match started and he pulled out Stretcher's ceremonial scarf that he had stolen weeks before. Stretcher's eyes widened as the masked man then set it on fire! Schwabeland howled like he was in pain and ran at his foe. Mercenary went to swing his cane but missed and was rammed in the stomach instead. Stretcher was in control and was able to lock in his choke sleeper to get the win. He continued to stomp away after the bell sounded and it took several ACCW officials to break up the scene.
