While the con is still fresh in people's minds, I'd like to get some thoughts on next year. A few thoughts of mine:
1. Tournament structure for the cup worked out great. Although we could work out a way to have more secondary tournaments during convention time.
2. Trivia should go back to a battle royal. Fairer for all and less time (20-30 minutes max).
3. A faster pace to the auction. Always takes longer than we expect, but next year having it at true auction pace could be better.
4. I liked having all the Q&As together and condensed into 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Number 4 sounded like a good idea tm. You should stick with it.

Keep people from over-bidding someone $1. Chances are; you won't win it anyway if you aren't willing to go at least $5 more. I think that there should be Tournament play during the Q&A. It is a waste of an hour that we could be playing. We never really learn anything new; Tom isn't going to spoil us on the next set just because we came to Galacticon. Every year it seems to be the same people asking the same questions that never get answered. I'm all for playing a Q&A Tournament next year. In fact, I'll sponsor it next year. If the event is in the Sheldon House again next year we need to have everyone present that is playing in the tournament to draw their character & get their first match-up. JMello & I chased around I don't know how many people to get them to participate. I know it's about visiting too, but if you enter a tournament; lets get it going when the tournament starts. If the event is at the JCC again; the above issue will be solved because it's mostly one big room. I'm not sure about the Trivia Battle Royal; anyone think they should all be TRUE - FALSE questions??

I don't think the Trivia Contest should be all True or False Questions
That would make it easier for me to last longer but will also make the rumble even longer as the wrong answers wont come as fast

If fan support is high for us to do it again, I'd love to do another Who's Galaxy is it Anyway. That was a lot of fun. Sorry I had to leave. Would have loved to do an improved song. Next time though we should plan it out more structure wise, but that's what happens when it's a last minute (yet very good) idea.

I would be more than happy to help run a Q&A tournament with you. This is a great idea. J&R

As long as the Q&A tournament is an IP qualifier and not a Cup qualifier, that sounds good to me.

A few possible suggestion.
Dry Erase Board - So everyone can see the matches and can update the winners themselves.
Holding all Finals for the tournaments on Sunday. This would draw more attention to the Finals of each tournament and would be enjoyable to watch. I was too busy starting a new tournament for anyone to watch the finale of the previous tournament.
Perhaps moving Q&A to the beginning of the Con. Meet and greet, then Q&A, then tournaments. That way at the start of the tournaments everyone is already gathered up and it gives me to randomize the matchups and such.
Also, drawing characters when you sign up for a tournament, I do think this would help.
Make sure everyone gets to experience everything, not a select few doing each. I never got to step foot in the sound booth this year, nor would I have had time for a Chuck Carter drawing. Plus, I don't think I talked to Tom at all, which is kind of a disappointment. Especially now that I have all these questions about this year's writing of 2124.
We'll discuss more later...

I was kind of dissappointed with the Q and A this year, I'm thinking the shock of drury was still in the air and Tom really didn't get to say much. Just seemed lackluster for Tom, Mark and Kris ... Hell someone fell asleep during it!!! Maybe next year have the FOUR (why was there no GWFZ Q/A's?) Face a gaunlet of some prepared questions from the forums then some from the crowd?
I like the tournament final four idea but this is coming from someone who's never stayed for Sunday! And we have had the tournament master and tournament overmaster, would it be too much for next year to get a tournament she devil?
