Roster
Backseat Boyz
Trent Acid: 5' 11" 180 lbs
Johnny Kashmere: 6' 0" 192 lbs
- A top indy tag team for years, The Backseat Boyz headed to the BSW to dominate the tag team ranks. While both skilled wrestlers on their own, Acid and Kashmere prove to be a tag team whose whole is greater than the sum of their parts. There are also rumors that Larry Sweeney of Sweet -N- Sour Inc has been in talks with them about lucrative contracts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Young Bucks
"Slick" Nick Jackson: 5' 10" 178 lbs
"Mr. Action Replay" Matt Jackson: 5' 10" 172 lbs
-This brother team from California have been wowing crowds across the nation. Much to the delight of the BSW (and its female fans), The Young Bucks have come to make a name for themselves on the southern part of the East Coast. High flying action will abound when these two young stars hit the ring. Sales of their new Young Bucks t-shirt are expected to be through the roof.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Kings of Wrestling[/i]
Claudio Castagnoli: 6' 2" 245 lbs
Chris Hero: 6' 4" 240 lbs
-This sometimes rocky partnership can be a problem at times, but when Claudio and Hero are on the same page, they are pure dynamite and a dominant team.
Claudio is a top talent and his services have been sought after by many top companies. With obvious European influences, Claudio's style is very different than most of the indy wrestlers today. He is always a top contender for any championship, no matter where he goes. The fans seem to love him, but teaming with Hero draws lots of boos.
Chris Hero believes his hype. And he should, because he is an up and coming talent. Hero, while not loved by many fans, is truly a talented wrestler when he wants to be one. His arrogance hinders him at times, but he seems ready for action here in BSW.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sweet -N- Sour Inc.[/i]
"Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce: 6' 2 " 245 lbs
"Sweet -N- Sour" Larry Sweeney: 5' 9" 185 lbs
-Sweet -N- Sour Inc. is comprised of more than these two men, but they are the most steadfast members.
Pearce is always a threat to any champion. His devastating offense, coupled with his size makes him a true force. While he was hoping to avoid Brent Albright here in BSW, he knew that it was only a matter of time before they clashed.
Larry Sweeney is a super-agent and a top tier manager, besides being a solid wrestler. He is also arrogant and a loud-mouth, but he backs it up. While many fans dismiss him, wrestlers know that he is dangerous both in and out of the ring.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Age of the Fall[/i]
Jimmy Jacobs: 5' 7" 173 lbs
Brodie Lee: 6' 5" 280 lbs
-This group has lost members over the past few months (Tyler Black and Delirious) due to insecurities of the leader, Jimmy Jacobs.
Jimmy Jacobs is the self-proclaimed Messiah of the Age. What he says is gospel and he demands absolute loyalty from his members. It does not take much to set him off into one of his "rages", but that never hurts his wrestling skills.
Brodie Lee is a monster. He is the muscle behind the AOTF. A huge man with a score to settle with the likes of Erick Stevens and Tyler Black. He will gladly pass up a title shot to get his hands on anyone who defies the AOTF. Lee could be a factor in any title picture, but most likely he and Jacobs will be battling it out in the tag team ranks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Erick Stevens: 6' 0" 235 lbs
-The big Sarasota native is a true powerhouse. He comes full steam ahead at all times and has proven to be a top wrestler in both singles and tags. His high impact offense often overwhelms opponents and his Doctor Bomb is devastating. He often teams with Brent Albright in his battles with Sweet -N- Sour Inc.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brent Albright: 6' 2 " 246 lbs
-Brent was born to be a wrestler. The "Submission Technician" is apt at both submission wrestling, as well as a variety of suplexes. Many feel Brent is on the verge of super-stardom and poised to be the next big thing. But there are some who feel that Albright should have accepted Sweeney's offer to join Sweet -N- Sour Inc. This refusal has sparked a war that still rages here in BSW.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drake Younger: 5' 9" 190 lbs
-The Psycho Shooter has a reputation for being the leader of the new age hardcore wrestlers. Younger has spilled enough blood (his own, as well as his opponents) to fill a blood bank. BSW officials were unsure about signing Younger at first, but his newly found technical streak convinced them that he was more than a "garbage wrestler." While he can breakout his light tubes at a moment's notice, Younger has shown that with his wrestling skills, he is a top contender for the BSW title.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Delirious: 5' 10" 190 lbs
-Delirious is one of a kind....which may be a good thing. The man who lives on the Edge of Sanity has shown true wrestling skill to go along with his insanity. His Chemical Imbalance #2 is a dangerous finisher that has proven effective throughout the indy circuit. While it seems that Delirious has championship aspirations, he is often distracted by others that stand in his way.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tyler Black: 6' 1" 210 lbs
-Black showed that addition by subtraction can be a very effective tool. By finally breaking free of the AOTF, Tyler has taken his game to whole new level. Growing as a singles wrestler with each match, many have said that Black reminds them of Jerry Lynn at this age. Tyler, though, wants people to just see him for himself. The fans love him and he uses that energy against the AOTF. Tyler and Jacobs have a blood feud going on that has been tearing through the Mid-West over the past few months. Tyler knows that with his talent, the BSW title is well within his reach.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chuck Taylor: 6' 1" 200 lbs
-Every royal court has it's jester and so does BSW. Taylor's goofy antics do little more than insight the crowd and enrage opponents. But all seems to be part of his plan, because behind that Moe Howard haircut is a top young star. Using high impact moves, Taylor has been surprising crowds for some time. His arrogant attitude and antics drive those around him nuts, just like he planned it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ricky Landell: 6' 1" 221 lbs
-Steve Corino's top student has shown fans both here and abroad that the pretty boy face is just for show. Landell is technically sound and shows great poise and timing. His Fisherman's Buster is top-notch and is complimented by his various suplexes. Landell becomes more and more refined with each match and has the potential to be a world champion. He often teams with his friend JD Michaels.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JD Michaels: 6' 0" 217 lbs
-The Maverick has started to come into his own. Originally looked upon as a Shawn Michaels clone, JD has expanded his offense to include a beautiful Northern Lights suplex and a bone-jarring superplex. While he is called The Maverick, he often teams with Ricky Landell. BSW officials feel that this might be JD's chance to springboard to super-stardom from his time and exposure here.

- this belt is still up in the air, as it may or may not be part of the BSW.

Non-Wrestling Talent
BSW Commissioner: Michael PS Hayes
-While a controversial character during his wrestling days, Hayes understands his roll here is to give everyone a chance to improve and grow as young wrestlers. He also knows that he needs to give the fans what they want to see.
BSW Announcer: Joey Styles
-While used mostly for interview segments and advancing story-lines, he knows that his job is to hype the talent and sell the product that is BSW.
BSW Head Trainer: Brad Armstrong
-While currently under a "no compete" clause from his previous employer, Brad has agreed to train new wrestlers at the BSW Training School. Brad hopes that by training them right from the start, that they will be able to mature into the superstars of tomorrow. Brad takes his job very seriously and welcomes BSW stars to stop in and help train. Brent Albright, Ricky Landell, Tyler Black, and others often workout there and help teach the students.

The Goal of Big South Wrestling:

-Make people look forward to each show and stir up emotions, good or bad within them.
-To show that these guys might be LOTF, but the are stars right now!
