Lightening - I said it a couple of years ago, and this comment sort of stuck: dishwashing gloves an a furry diaper a great wrestler do not make.
Incredible Badger and Battering Ram were great back in the day... they consistently dominated the Gladiators for me from 2088-2090 when the Glads received their first Cleansing. They pretty much displaced the Greek Gods as the top face team say... oh for the rest of the Gods' careers.
I hated the name Billy Jo Boxer, but there was something that was just really fun with his card... his three move-3's on L2O would knock an opponent down and give Lord Nexus a chance to end the match on L3O with his two TITAN DROPS. My gripe with them was that they were the first of many teams over a period of many years to have a tag team name that should have been two words, but was written as one word (i.e. TitanPower... I hated that).
And I always thought it was funny that Thantos was the Evil GAMEmaster who had four chess pieces in his stable (King, Queen, Bishop, and Knight). I remember the day I got Invasion 2088 in the mail, I totally expected 2089 to include a character named "The Rook" or "The Castle" to complete the whole chess set (I guess the Henchmen would have been the pawns?)
