If this is for your own use, that's cool. If it is something you plan to publish, I'd be careful about using the CAC artwork. That's actually a drawing Werner did for my character Venom. I wanted to share the drawings he did for me (I think all of the new ones are mine, and there should be two more I do not see yet that I hope Kris will put up) in order to make more artwork available for the CAC slots, but I also intend to make my bootlegs available to everyone as soon as I get better at printing them. I'd be unhappy to have someone else using artwork I paid for to create a circulated bootleg, and I think doing so might discourage people from contributing Werner's drawings to the CAC project.
I'll be honest and say that I'm not really thrilled to have had this drawing given a name here on the boards before I got a chance to circulate my cards. Having it up as CAC artwork is one thing, but having a name associated with him is another. I realize that by contributing he artwork I made it in some sense public, but I did not think I was giving up all rights to what I had paid for. I guess I'll know better next time.
I have no way to force you to do this, of course, but I am requesting that, out of courtesy, you take the artwork off of your original post.

Then stuff like this wouldn't happen. Just my two cents.

I knew it would take me a while to get the cards out, and I wanted to make the artwork available for the CAC system, since I know I am not the only one who wants more art to choose from. But I thought everyone knew that Werner charged for doing those drawings and that we commission them so that we can use them ourselves. I honestly never thought anyone would think of using someone else's drawings for their own bootlegs without permission.

If I ever had the card published, I would have a drawing made for it. I just posted the pic cause it was my inspiration for the guy. And pic I am using on my CAC. I will take the pic down, hopefully there won't be a problem then.
I would never use any of the CAC art, or anyone's art to publish my own bootlegs. I would consider something like that to be dishonorable, and I take such things very seriously. SO I am sorry if I upset you about this. It was not meant in such a way.

I appreciate you removing the link to the art. And I'm glad you liked the art. Werner did a great job with it, as always. Artwork aside, your character concept is good. I hope to get my cards ready to go soon so maybe you can see what mine was. (The cards are done, actually. I just can't get the front and back to match up the way I want. Photoshop's idea of centering does not quite involve the center.)

I am actually very curious about seeing yours. I am having problems with photoshop as well. But mostly doing the backs as I have no art. But the only template I have is a pdf for the backs anyways.

I can send you the templates I have been working with. I originally got them from Eliath, but I have changed them enough that I don't think there should be an issue with me passing them on. I am on vacation in Puerto Vallarta at the moment, but I'll send them to you when I get home. The only problem with them, again, is when I print the front and back do not quite match up. It's a very minor discrepancy--probably about 1/8 inch--but I am a perfectionist.

Yes please. I might be able to fix the problem. Then again, I may make it worse.... eh, gives me something to do.
