Apparently the PWG Tag Team Champions the Young Bucks (my personal favorite LOTF tag team) like their rankings. This is what they wrote on their My Space page: "Matt-Nick Jackson we made the PWI magazine's top 500 wrestlers! #229 & #235!"And they have every reason to like their placement too. A relatively unknown tag team except on the west coast getting put in just below the half way point of 225. That's pretty sweet if you ask me. I love the PWI 500. What about Nigel? Wow, almost breaking the top 5! That's incredible. I'd love to see him in LOTF 3! He had a great run as RoH Champion and it can be debated that he only dropped the belt due to injury.

The Young Bucks have been getting exposure through ROH with a couple of events, including a TV taping. They were also featured in Chikara King of Trios on all 3 nights, so their stock is rising.
I'm just surprised Tyler Black is higher than Austin Aries.

This list just further reinforces the great job the LOTF guys did in getting the top indy guys out there. Even some LOW guys on there too. Thank to everyone who made it happen.
I never got to worked up over who was #1 or whatnot. I always saw it as a snapshot in time on roughly where a wrestler stands compared to their counterparts. But very happy to see the Young Bucks ranked so high, they are a fun team to watch.

I just saw the PWI 500 at Wal Mart, and my God, that issue has gone downhill...a LOT since I used to buy them every year.

This is the first year I can remember a US Indie guy, a Luchador, and a Japanese guy all in the top 10.
I donno, I think the issue is solid. Considering it's written with kayfabe in mind it's a pretty solid list. Triple H did hold a recognized PWI world Title longer than anyone else this year.

Kayfabe is the only reason Triple H would be recognised as #1 in anything, except for maybe Sucking and Staying On TV When He Shouldn't Be...
[edit]And I agree, let's sign Shockwave the Robot![/edit]
