In the late 1980's the American Wrestling Association brought to their fans a man named Rocky Mountain Thunder, RMT was pushed into the spotlight against the Surfer. Rocky Mountain Thunder was not a wrestler but a Scuffler, RMT was undefeated in his short career against a bevy of jobbers and so you could say Rocky Mountain Thunder was a upper-jobber who had crowd support and a career that just lasted enough for him to leave a mark. RMT's Signature Moves & Finisher -Mile High Decapitator Rocky Mountain Thunder delivers a decapitating clothesline off the ropes to his opponent. Rocky Mountain Express RMT has his opponent in the corner and he charges at his opponent and delivers a knee to the opponent. The Surfer Special This is the move that defines what RMT is famous for, it looks like a Widows Peak that is not executed well and the Surfer knows all about it, and if this move ends the match, the opponent will be injured. BIG THUNDER SPLASH : RMT's finisher is where his opponent is laid out on his back and Rocky Mountain Thunder bounces off the ropes and does a belly splash onto the fallen opponent and RMT goes for the pinfall. There will be a PDF coming down the road... Created by CrimsonCross & Kingwiththeax

Hehe....Freakin' Rocky Mountain Thunder... Only reason his Offense has all those 3's is because he's 6'7 337lbs and doesn't know how to hold back... ;D Very nice work..

That "move" was actually an attempt at an over-the-shoulder backbreaker where he tripped picking the guy up!
You can also see Rocky Mountain Thunder in one of the worst fight scenes ever in a horrid movie full of horrid fight scenes called "Lone Tiger". The clip is on youtube (underground fight #1). Rumor has it that the man has since passed away, but he seems to be an enigma in wrestling and no one really knows much about how he got into wrestling, why he got out (although it seems fairly obvious), or much else about him.

Prior to entering the AWA he was a NFL player with Denver, Green Bay and a few other teams and his real name is Greg Boyd, interesting about the movie which I'm going to check out next... Side Note : Richard Lynch is in that Lone Tiger, he is one of my all time favorite B-Film actors!

That was the rumor, but Boyd was a black man who had a handful of matches after his playing career was over in '85. I believe RMT was named Dean LaRossa.
