I've been a little confused about the Rahl Ranking system for quite some time, especially with calculating the scores. Therefore, I'm posting my newest female wrestler creation, HOLLY PENA, with the Rahl scores for each entry so that anyone who fully understands the system can check my math and let me know if I did it correctly before I start ranking all of my other wrestlers in both the HWA and the UIW. The Rahl Total Score I came up with is in bold. A quick note on the Official Card Rules. To be compliant a card needs to list three chart designations outright with two of them followed by a (c). The easiest way to do that is to start your chart designations on Level 3 Offense. This is the only level where two listings (direct/indirect Deathjump & direct Out of Ring) are mandatory.
Doing this not only directs card potency...but it sets the tone for the remaining chart designations on the other two levels. To make it easy the formulas are listed below:
* An outright Deathjump and Out of Ring listing with both having a (c) would fulfill the (c) requirement and set up an outright Ropes/ch B or outright Turnbuckle/ch A
* A Deathjump/Out of Ring (c) would require either Ropes (c)/ch B or Turnbuckle (c)/ch A
* An indirect Deathjump (ch/G/H) must be married to a - 3
* A ch G/Out of Ring or ch H/Out of Ring would set up a direct Ropes and Turnbuckle listing on either of those two remaining levels. Whether or not you put in the (c) will determine how many must be listed on the other levels
* Listing two Out of Rings on Level 3 Offense is possible which would leave one remaining outright designation, two indirects and the (c) rules
More mistakes are made on the chart designations than anywhere else. The older cards are filled with them (ie. ch G/H - 2). Starting on Level 3 Offense makes the process much easier.

PICANTE--a split-legged senton bomb Just a quick note, I didn't notice it until yesterday when I printed off this thread at the library in order to take it home and see how LWPD did his calculations (which I've sent you a PM about, BTW) that I made a typo on Holly's Level 2 Defense. On a roll of 1, that was supposed to read "HOLLY PENA - 1" not "HOLLY PENA - 2". I have since fixed it. |
