I think a downgraded version could always come in and refuse to do the MMA part of the promotion. Maybe have them clash with Jack Hood over it and have them really trash on the MMA part as barbaric and beneath them. It would be some nice heel heat for them.

I said earler that I thought it would be cool if the Troubleshooters came back because they are my 2nd favorite CPC tag team of all time behind only Darwin's Legacy. At one point for 3 years in a row (2109-2111) Muss actually won my CPC Royal Rumble. Ken Griffey Jr. did go back to the Mariners this season before he one day enters the Hall of Fame as a Mariner- that's a cool story and I think the Troubleshooters returning to the CPC (which they helped establish from day one back in 2109 when we got CPC sets separate from GWF sets) would also be a cool story. I think there are lots of cool storylines from that fact alone that (my fellow Hawkaholic) Mark could write (perhaps they show disgust about POW's new image, etc). So I say pay tribute to POW's/CPC's great past and bring them back for one last run (and since POW is now on PDF perhaps they could be two extra cards that we print out at very little cost without costing anyone else a roster space?)! Lots of excellent points were made in this tread about why the Troubleshooters perhaps shouldn't reappear. I just disagree because as I often say I know that sometimes friends just have to agree to disagree. But regardless of what happens, I'm bringing the Troubleshooters back to my personal POW fed! |

which is exactly why I posted. I thnik it is a great idea, and who says they cant do mma?  All though this brings up a great point, which I'll ask here. Just how long is the POW going to do both formats? I can see it heading toward MMA, which isnt bad, but I will miss the wrestler side of it. |

I don't know that POW is ever going to become MMA-only as an FG product, just because it would limit the number of people who want to purchase and play it. I think it's working all right for the people who want to do it both ways (or just one or the other), since they have the option of buying either wrestling, MMA, or both versions on PDF. What I'd really like to see, as mentioned at GCon, is some sort of reality-based MMA game that uses the rules we've come up with. That way there could be that outlet for new and existing fans who want to run an MMA-only fed.

i run an mMa only fed, but I do like the fact that i can have a prowresgliing match, should I choose to. Plus, as mark said, the way it is currently set up, does not isolate anyone.
