Nice IWA action! The Briscoes/KoW match really took me back to their irl feud from a few years ago. Kingston went through all that work winning SotF only to get robbed in the end. Hopefully he'll get a chance at redemption.
I also have to go back to the last episode of LOW ASW because you know I love my Lance Russell fix! The Apter interview with Mascaras was awesome - the setting, the epic announcement - all made for a great nostalgic throwback. The JSS interview was also fine work. You nailed it. But, to be honest, I don't know how I feel about mixing 8MW guys into feds. Not just yours, anyone's, including mine. I have considered using the obvious characters as their real world counterparts. I don't know.
Great stuff as usual!

Wish we had him in the game but no matter as he will continue to host ASW. As for the 8MW guys I see where you are coming from on that but don't worry I have a plan to separate them from my LOW events in the next game year. For now you will see them on cards here and there as special attractions, kind of like the midget and ladies stars back in the territory days, and eventually they will get their own show. I have no plans to match say Mighty Leo vs. Ox Baker or Bobo Brazil vs. Jet Set Strutter (even though JSS mentioned him by name) as the 8MW guys will only physically interact with each other. I love the 8MW sets and just wanted to keep posting what I do with them here in this thread instead of creating a separate thread, I just find it easier to keep track of and it's kind of fun having them involved in the overall running of my fed. Glad you enjoyed the shows and next up will be an NWC card featuring the Road Warriors vs. Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik for the LOW World tag team titles.

Great card from Union City crew. Enjoyed Black the submission finish from Black and Del Sol over Sabin was excellent. The image of Steen being laid out by a double powerbomb was great and I am looking forward to see where this feud goes and who else it may involve. Bricoes and Kings of Wrestling is just classic. Delirious should be able to get past Kingston next time they meet.

I loved those DQ endings for the title matches, but too bad Kingston could not win the title and I really want King of Wrestling's to continue on as tag champs. My highlight match is Johnny Gargano & Timothy Thatcher beating reDRagon, solid stuff...

Thanks for the comments Bookerbill and Crimson. I am looking into a rematch for Kingston vs. Delirious and I am also happy that KOW escaped with the belts as I'm hoping a team can build up a good reign in the IWA. Next up we have NWC action, hope you enjoy it...
LOW Northern Wrestling Corporation - Capitol Centre - Landover, MD (Card #973)
1) Timber defeated Sam Houston: The popular Sam Houston out of Waco, TX, started off his NWC career with a bang but has now suffered two straight defeats. This time he lost to Timber, “The Insane Lumberjack”, a former LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion and a member of the LOW All-Star Wrestling roster. Houston had a dominant run during the bout and picked up a nice near fall with the combo punches followed by a dropkick. Timber struck back nearly winning it by count out after running Houston spine first into the ring barrier. Timber would then deliver his trademark Log Splitter to score the pin which drew jeers from most of the crowd in Landover.
2) Leilani Kai defeated Sumie Sakai: The stars of the Ring Angels division of LOW were featured next as Sumie Sakai took on Leilani Kai, one half of the Glamour Girls along with Judy Martin. Kai was very impressive in the early going scoring a quick two count with a scoop slam and press. Sakai had a tough time getting anything going and after a butterfly suplex by Kai she was left in a vulnerable state. Kai then alertly hit her Running Splash to score the pin.
3) The Sheik defeated Stevie Richards: Blue World Order leader Stevie Richards had his work cut out for him as he took on The Sheik, who was accompanied by his manager Abdullah Farouk. It was the first match for The Sheik since suffering an assortment of injuries in a brutal Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match with Andre the Giant at MSG (Card #952). It looked like ring rust may have affected the former LOW World Heavyweight champion as Richards dominated most of the early action. He planted The Sheik with the Stevie-T and scored a big near fall after a vertical suplex. The Sheik was busted open and nailed with the Stevie Kick which prompted Farouk to interfere distracting the referee. The Sheik took advantage of that and began bludgeoning Richards with weapons both in and out of the ring. He scored a near submission on Richards with the painful sadistic hammerlock and then trapped him in the Camel Clutch. Richards tried to fight it but The Sheik cinched the hold on and got the submission victory.
4) Dick Hutton defeated Fritz Von Goering: Two tough veterans squared off here as former Olympian Dick Hutton, who has been on a real role of late, took on Fritz Von Goering out of Berlin, Germany. The early action saw Von Goering dominating as he tied Hutton up with holds like the double wrist lock and standing full nelson. The crowd rallied behind Hutton but he was held at bay by Von Goering for a long stretch. The tide finally turned when Hutton countered out of a bodyslam attempt and caught Von Goering in a sleeper hold. He held that on before transitioning into his patented Abdominal Stretch which he locked on in mid-ring. Von Goering tried to fight out of it but found no escape and Hutton got the victory via submission.
5) Sabu defeated George Steele by DQ: Pure chaos was what was expected as Sabu, accompanied by his manager Bill Alfonso, took on George “The Animal” Steele with manager Fred Blassie in his corner. It was all Steele from the opening bell as he caught Sabu with a foreign object, his trusty taped piece of steel, to the throat and knocked him out of the ring with a running knee. Sabu tried to battle back but Steele again bludgeoned him with the weapon. Alfonso protested to the referee while Blassie instructed Steele to continue inflicting punishment. They eventually fought back to the outside where Steele was disqualified for hitting Sabu with the ring bell. Blassie encouraged “The Animal” to keep up his attack but Sabu began battling back. He hit a springboard off of the guard rail and nailed Steele with a leg lariat. He then put Steele on a table and went up to the top rope but Blassie pulled Steele off of it and led him back to the locker room. Alfonso frantically blew his whistle to get his attention but Sabu ignored him and dove off of the top rope putting himself through the table to a big pop from the crowd.
6) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: Roderick Strong© defeated Tony Atlas to retain the title: The popular “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas attempted to do what has been the seemingly impossible and win the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title from Roderick Strong, who was accompanied by his manager Truth Martini. Atlas was a house of fire early hitting a big dropkick for a two count and then nailing Strong with a jumping headbutt for a big near fall. Martini clutched the Book of Truth and hoped that Strong would find an opening. That happened when Atlas went for a deathjump and Strong caught him with a bodyslam. Strong followed with both the Sick Kick and End of Heartache for near falls on the challenger. Atlas battled back after that and nearly put Strong away with a crushing full nelson. Martini was beside himself as it looked like history could be made but then the improbable happened. Strong always seems to find a way to win and this time he avoided a clothesline by Atlas and hoisted him up into the Argentine Backbreaker. The crowd pleaded with Atlas to hang in there but then Strong dropped to his knees and released Atlas rack attack style and covered him for the pin to retain the title. Strong extended his record of successful title defenses to eighteen with a brilliant come from behind victory over a very game challenger in Atlas.
7) PWI Invitational Cup Tournament Qualifying Match: Jim Londos defeated Antonio Inoki: The crowd was in for a treat here as two of the best in LOW squared off in the qualifying round of the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament with Jim Londos of the GWA taking on Antonio Inoki representing Kings Road United. Both men shook hands at the bell and Inoki held the upper hand early hitting the top rope kneedrop and using the cobra twist and bow and arrow to tie up Londos. A belly to back suplex had the Greek star in trouble until he managed to score with a backdrop off of the ropes and then caught Inoki with the grinding arm bar for a submission chance. Inoki got to the ropes for a break but then Londos surprised him with the Sleeper Grip applied from behind. Inoki tried to break it with a flip but Londos countered and cinched the hold on. The referee moved in and checked on Inoki who was holding on despite the pressure being applied. A final lunge towards the ropes failed and the Sleeper Grip by Londos led to a surprising submission victory over the Japanese star. Inoki was bitter over the defeat but still showed class by shaking hands with Londos and holding his arm up in victory. Londos now joins Fred Blassie and King Kong Bundy in the tournament which takes place during WrestleCade X weekend.
8) LOW World tag team titles: Road Warriors© defeated Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik by DQ to retain the titles: The main event saw the Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk, with manager Paul Ellering) defending the LOW World tag team titles against Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik who had manager Fred Blassie in their corner. Volkoff and Sheik have been on a real roll of late and with Blassie’s guidance they hoped to unseat the record eight-time LOW World tag team champions. This match marked the first time that these two teams had met in a title match since the first year of existence for LOW when Animal and Hawk made two successful title defenses against Volkoff and Sheik. The champions held control early with Animal getting the better of Volkoff. Hawk chipped in and teamed with Animal hitting a double clothesline. Volkoff battled back using the Russian Bearhug on Hawk before dropping him throat first on the ropes. The Iron Sheik looked great during his time in including using the Camel Clutch on both Animal and Hawk. Animal took over again busting Volkoff open and then flooring him with a flying shoulder ram for a two count. The Iron Sheik unleashed the suplex attack late hoping to put Animal away but he fought off the assault. The Road Warriors then set up Volkoff and hit the Doomsday Device but Blassie interfered breaking up the pin. The referee immediately called for the bell and it was Animal and Hawk getting the win via disqualification in their version nine defense of the titles.

Love the Capital Center History I could spend hours on the history of the WWE website going through the clippings and reading the results. Always known for their multi person tag team encounters. Timber, Kai and Sheik will wins was not surprizing. Hutton with an upset and Sabu and George was a wild as expected. Londos advances in an upset (IMO) and the Warriors retain despite the best efforts of the Iron Sheik

Very cool to see both The Sheik and Sabu picking up victories on the same show... Hard to believe that Sabu came out on the right side of a DQ decision... But, considering who his opponent was, maybe not so surprising...
Another successful title defense for Roddy Strong... Truth Martini must've been chewing his nails in that one... And it was very cool to see LoD defend the tag straps against Iron Sheik & Volkoff... Both teams looked tough in this one... Blassie simply could not lot that one end clean...
Getting more excited as WrestleCade X draws ever closer!

Such a great victory for Jim Londos in that PWiT match with Inoki, it would be killer cool to see London go far in the tournament. I was split on the Dick Hutton and Fritz Von Goering bout, but it's cool that Hutton got the win and Timber giving Houston his 2nd loss is good stuff. 18! could lead to 19! and I'm pulling for 20! defenses for Roderick Strong as the Tex-Arkana Champ...

Cruefan,
I rarely comment but have followed your fed for years. It really is one of the best Feds here! And that's no knock to anyone here, but I am envious of how you have managed the territory format, and have still kept it interesting, and built this nice rich history. Your WrestleCade event, and the buildup prior to it, is better than anything on TV! With all that said, I was wondering you might be able to share a little about your process and methods to manage all these Feds, wrestlers, and feuds? I have tried a few attempts at the territory format, and it ends up failing. I sometimes have tried to utilize too many wrestlers, I think, or have too much going on and can't manage it all. I was just curious how you manage all if it, and still keep it interesting?

Thanks for the comments on the last card Bookerbill, Pariah and Crimson. The tag title match was a difficult one for the Road Warriors as the Iron Sheik in particular put up a great fight. Londos over Inoki was a huge win for Londos and I am happy to see him get into the PWI tournament. Dick Hutton has really been doing well for me after being pretty much a doormat for some time. The dice are liking him right now. As for Roderick Strong I don't know what to say other than it is really cool to see him on this run. I hate hot potato title changes so this one has been fun to see. Next up will be an SWA show headlined by Bobo Brazil defending the LOW World Heavyweight title against Johnny Valentine. I hope to have that posted later tonight or early this week.
