Hey cruefan68! Outrageous IWA card bro. Congrats to Bryan Danielson on winning the IWA, was really torn on this one because I am big fans of both Danielson and Hoyt. Totally agree with Crimson Cross would like to see a rematch. Same goes for Sara Del Ray and Taeler Hendrix, big fans of both. Really enjoyed the way "The Aerial Assassin" won his match and the same goes for Drew Galloway. All over a very tasty card leading up to the big Kahuna tomorrow!

Even though I took a bath on my preshow picks, there was not a disappointing moment in the Ricoh Coliseum... The IWA possibly delivered its best show to date... And that's saying quite a lot... The action was fierce from start to finish...
Hero and Claudio agreeing to split the money after a stellar tandem performance in the Battle Royal was really cool... But, as we all witnessed, their princess had other plans...
DDP and Savage worked together to put down the threat of Kingston and Steen... Not what I expected at all... And now it looks like Wrestling's Worst Nightmare has an axe to grind...
Big time congrats to Danielson on claiming the IWA Heavyweight title -- A well deserved victory... Taking nothing away from the other title matches on the card... Especially Chuck-T defending the J-Crown against Barreta... Those gentlemen brought down the house...
Biggest highlight of the show in my eyes... Yeah, you guessed it... The Bullet Club is expanding... OR have we just witnessed the formation of an entirely separate supergroup? A brand new era perhaps? Some might even say the UNDISPUTED ERA -- reDRagon and ADAM COLE BAY-BAY!
Out of the park, my friend... Take a bow!

Thanks for the comments on the IWA show Crimson, Bri and Pariah. I knew someone would be happy about the surprise appearance of Adam Cole (Bay-Bay!) I usually have back-up plans for guys and that was one I had for Cole in case he got eliminated from the PWI Cup tournament. Had he advanced to the finals he never would have appeared on the IWA card. Cole definitely made an interesting remark there bing in recruiting mode but as you suggest Pariah is he recruiting for Bullet Club or for his own group? That question should be answered soon enough. Bryan Danielson winning the IWA Heavyweight title was so much fun for me as he has never held it before. Lance Hoyt made for an interesting champion for sure and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a rematch. Sara Del Ray was another one I was happy for as she had never won the SHIMMER title so it is very cool to now see her on the list of champions. Overall that card was really fun to roll out. Speaking of something fun to roll out, coming up next is the big one - WrestleCade 12! It is a long read so bear with me. I hope you enjoy the action...

12) LOW World Heavyweight title: “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles© defeated Bobo Brazil to retain the title (Pinfall – Phenomenal Forearm)
Match Highlights: The main event for the LOW World Heavyweight title saw two of the most popular stars in LOW square off as three-time champion Bobo Brazil out of Benton Harbor, MI, took on the defending two-time champion “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles of Gainesville, GA. LOW Senior Referee Morgan Dollar was the man in charge as Brazil and Styles circled each other before shaking hands to big cheers from the crowd. What followed was one of the most epic world title matches in LOW history. Brazil almost won it with the Coco Butt a few moves into the match giving Styles a scare. He followed up with a strong offensive that had Styles in real trouble. Styles finally came back and caught Brazil with a Pele Kick and the Spiral Tap for a two count. He also trapped the challenger in the Calf Killer. Brazil battled back and two more Coco Butts busted open Styles and resulted in close near falls. Any friendship the two displayed at the open went out the window as the battle raged on. They fought out to the floor trading blows before Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm back-to-back only to have Brazil kick out both times. Styles showed his own great resilience surviving yet another Coco Butt along with a big hammer punch.
Both champion and challenger were showing wear and tear at this point and the crowd was at a fever pitch not knowing who was going to pull out the win. After a double clothesline took both men down in the corner, Brazil recovered first and delivered his fifth Coco Butt of the match only to have Styles break up the pin by getting his foot over the bottom rope. Styles clearly had lady luck on his side and he knew it. Brazil was dead set on regaining the championship forcing Styles to dig down deep. After stunning Brazil with a discus lariat, Styles managed to hit another Phenomenal Forearm and crawled over on top of Brazil to score the pin. His successful version one defense of the title was a battle of survival and the bloody Styles had trouble getting to his feet after the match. Brazil, who was also bleeding, grabbed the championship from Dollar and extended a hand to Styles helping him up to his feet. After staring at the belt for a moment, Brazil handed it to Styles and raised his arm in victory in a show of respect drawing thunderous applause from the sold-out Rogers Centre. A fitting end to a night filled with historic moments…
The LOW World tag team titles changed hands in a dramatic semi-final match as the popular Rock n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) won the belts for the first time beating defending champions Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens and six-time champions the Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Bobby Eaton). This Triple Threat Elimination Match had so many twists and turns that the sold-out crowd popped numerous times. There were no disqualifications or count outs according to the match rules which certainly made both Jim Cornette, the manager of Condrey & Eaton, and Sir Oliver Humperdink, the manager of Bockwinkel & Stevens, very happy. In addition, it was a three-on-three bout with three-men in against each other at the same time with the respective partners available for tags on the ring apron.
Cornette took full advantage of the No DQ rule when he hit Morton with his tennis racquet as he had Eaton pinned after a dropkick. The referee admonished Cornette but he laughed it off knowing that his men could not be disqualified. Bockwinkel showed great resilience as he survived both the Double Goozle from the Midnight Express and an Alabama Jam from Eaton. Stevens delivered some great offense but found himself in a bad way being busted open and down in a pin position after taking the Suplex onto Partners Knee from the Midnight Express. Humperdink got involved and attempted to hand off his Singapore Cane to Stevens but Eaton intercepted it. That led to Eaton nailing the bloody Stevens with the cane instead resulting in a pin. Bockwinkel and Stevens, who just won the belts from the Midnight Express in Milwaukee, WI (Card #1195) were the first team eliminated.
That left the match many have been waiting to see, the Rock n’ Roll Express vs. Midnight Express for the first time in LOW and with the world tag team titles hanging in the balance. The heat between these two teams as their legendary rivalry reignited was off the charts. The Midnight Express nearly won it when Eaton had Morton pinned with the top rope elbow, but Gibson made a last second save. Cornette screamed at the referee saying it was a three count but his protest fell on deaf ears. Morton also survived the Double Goozle and made the hot tag to Gibson who helped bring it home. Gibson hammered away on Eaton with big haymakers and a back elbow smash before dropkicking Condrey off the ring apron. Cornette urged Condrey to get up as Gibson made the tag and the Rock n’ Roll Express hit the Double Dropkick on Eaton with Morton covering him for the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers as the Rock n’ Roll Express won the LOW World tag team titles beating their greatest rivals.
The recent epic tag team battles pitting the Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) against Andre the Giant & Big John Studd led to this trios match being signed with the respective managers, “Precious” Paul Ellering and “Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, joining in. Things were looking good for the Road Warriors and Ellering early as they managed to keep Andre on the defensive. That included the Road Warriors dropping the giant with a big double clothesline. Andre staged a counter attack, however, and did it against Ellering who was in a bad spot. After Andre and Studd took turns beating Ellering down, Heenan tagged in and scored near falls on his rival manager with a Foreign Object attack and a pin using the ropes. Heenan did a great job of tagging in and managed to avoid a confrontation with either Animal or Hawk unlike Ellering who was not so lucky. Studd almost put Ellering away with a reverse bear hug but he fought out and managed to make a tag. The Road Warriors took turns assaulting Andre and Studd but were unable to put them away. The finish saw Andre with a turnbuckle squash on Animal before Studd delivered a Falling Elbow Drop for the pin.
The first ever Ring of Blood Death Match, with the losing team captain having to leave the Capitol Wrestling Alliance, saw Bruiser Brody, Magnum T.A., Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Blackjack Mulligan & Barry Windham defeat the Army of Darkness consisting of Kevin Sullivan, Lord Zoltan, “The Punishment” Damien Martinez, BJ Whitmer & Blackwater. The rules were simple: the first team to make all their opponents’ bleed would be declared the winners and unlike First Blood rules those that were busted open could continue fighting. There were no eliminations. Team captains Brody and Sullivan had a lot at stake and it showed as the two tore into each other right from the opening bell. This one broke down quickly with all ten men fighting in and out of the ring and with no disqualification or count out rules the referee could do nothing to stop it. Frankly even an army of referees couldn’t have stopped this.
Before it was over there were eight men bleeding – the entire Army of Darkness along with Mulligan, Windham and Brody. Perhaps the sickest blood spot came when Whitmer and Sullivan gouged Windham with the Golden Spike drawing blood as Mulligan, who was tied up in the ropes, was forced to watch the assault on his son. Brody managed to break that up and got the Golden Spike delivering some justice as he busted Whitmer open with it. Windham also got some revenge when he was the one to bust open Sullivan with a run into the ring post. After Zoltan and Blackwater were busted open all that was left was Martinez but “The Punishment” was not going to go down easy. A double chair shot by Brody and Magnum didn’t get it done but the Blackjack Claw did. Mulligan locked the claw hold on Martinez and squeezed until he drew blood winning the match for his team. Because of the loss, Sullivan now must leave the CWA and the Army of Darkness will surely suffer for it.
The highly anticipated hardcore showdown between Wild Bull Curry of Golden Age Wrestling and Capitol Wrestling Alliance star The Sheik, who was accompanied by his manager Abdullah Farouk, did not disappoint. The two wild men engaged in a brutal battle that saw Curry busted open before it was over. The Sheik managed to lock on the Camel Clutch early but Curry fought out of it. The Sheik also repeatedly stabbed Curry with a sharp object drawing blood. Curry can take it just as well as dish it out and he used his own foreign object along with a chair smash to battle back against the record five-time LOW International Heavyweight champion. The rulebreaking went one step too far when The Sheik pulled a lead pipe out from under the ring and struck the bloody Curry with it before using the weapon to choke him out. The referee called for the bell and disqualified The Sheik giving the technical decision to Curry. LOW officials were needed to separate the two-post match as they continued brawling around ringside.
A unique trios match involving stars from Golden Age Wrestling, Pacific Coast Wrestling and World of Sport saw Gorgeous George, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper & Tommy End score the win over Antonino Rocca, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka & Exotic Adrian Street. Cherie Dupre, the valet of Gorgeous George, and Miss Linda, the valet of Exotic Adrian Street, were both at ringside for the match. The action was all over the place in this one including a couple of near count decisions due to fighting on the floor. Snuka nearly won it for his team when he had End pinned with the Superfly, but Piper made the save. George likewise trapped Snuka in the Spinning Toehold but Rocca broke that up to save his team from defeat. The finish was controversial as on the outside End hit Rocca with a foreign object tossed to him by Piper and then hit a roundhouse high kick for good measure. Piper took advantage of that by pulling Rocca back in and locking on the Sleeper Hold. As End and George fended off Snuka and Street, Piper was able to put Rocca under and win it by submission for his team.
The “Lone Wolf” Davey Richards (Pacific Coast Wrestling) made history as he defeated “Ravishing” Rick Rude (Capitol Wrestling Alliance) in a great bout to win the tenth annual PWI Invitational Cup Tournament. The road to the finals for both men was a tough one and included Richards getting by Curt Hennig, Rude’s associate in the New Age Horsemen. Manager J.J. Dillon gave Rude some words of advice before returning to the locker room as per tournament rules which don’t allow managers at ringside. Rude dominated the initial action and scored two counts with a clothesline and top rope kneedrop. He also hit the Rude Awakening on Richards who was able to get his foot over the bottom rope just as the referee counted three. Rude vehemently argued with the official who cited the foot on the ropes and so the match continued. Richards began battling back and had Rude on the run hitting moves like the multiple suplex assault and the Alarm Clock. Things got heated building to the finish as Rude hit a piledriver for another big near fall. Richards then countered Rude and trapped him in the Ankle Lock which he transitioned into a leg grapevine in center ring. Rude howled in pain but was unable to move and he tapped out snake eyes style giving Richards a submission victory and the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament trophy.
PWI Editor Bill Apter and LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox entered the ring and presented the victorious Richards with the trophy but before he could celebrate he was ambushed by New Age Horsemen members Tully Blanchard, Curt Hennig and “The Enforcer” CW Anderson. Apter and Cox ran out of the ring while Dillon returned and guided his men in the attack. Rude recovered and dropped Richards with the Rude Awakening before Anderson retrieved a chair which they wrapped around the ankle of Richards. With the others holding him down, Rude came off the top rope with a kneedrop on the chair smashing the ankle. The Horsemen bailed out of the ring as Angelo Mosca, the Killer Bees and LOW officials raced in but it was too late. Richards had to be assisted out of the ring and was seriously injured during what should have been his chance to celebrate one of the biggest wins of his career in LOW.
The “Million $ Man” Ted Dibiase emerged as the winner of the “Street People” Lumberjack Match over the “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant but it was a match he won’t soon forget. Dibiase’s bodyguard, Virgil, was ordered to the back by the referee at the start leaving Dibiase alone in a ring surrounded by the “street people” who turned out in force to support Valiant. Anytime Dibiase was tossed out of the ring he was roughed up by the “street people”, including by the “heavy metal” fan that showed up to support Valiant on the last edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling. Valiant, meanwhile, had several breaks when tossed to the outside as the “street people” let him recover as Dibiase argued with the referee. Dibiase managed to apply the Cobra Clutch on Valiant but the “heavy metal fan” broke it up.
Later, as the “street people” roughed up Dibiase at ringside, the referee jumped out to restore order. That give Virgil an opening as he ran down to the ring and decked Valiant with a pair of brass knuckles busting him open. Dibiase then caught the bloody Valiant with a second rope axe-handle but he kicked out of the pin. The frustrated Dibiase then executed a Backbreaker on Valiant and covered him for the pin using the ropes for leverage. The “heavy metal fan” just missed breaking that up but managed to deck Dibiase as he tried to celebrate his victory. Virgil returned and hit the “fan” from behind knocking his black wig off and he was revealed to be none other than “Luscious” Johnny Valiant! Dibiase and Virgil were shocked and then driven out of the ring by the reunited Valiant Brothers. A bloody Jimmy grabbed the mic afterward and said “The Valiant Brothers are back, baby, and Dibiase and Virgil are gonna learn a hard lesson and pay the price of the greatest tag team in the universe!”
One of the more controversial matches of the night saw Sherri Martel defeat Mildred Burke to win the Ring Angels title. Martel jumped Burke on her way to the ring and ran the champion into the ring post. She followed that up with a leg drop and a suplex for two counts. Burke barely had a chance to get her ring jacket off before Martel went up top and hit the Top Rope Splash to score the pin and win the title. The crowd jeered the decision as Martel was crowned the Ring Angels champion and made some history as well by becoming the only woman to have held the LOW Women’s title, the SHIMMER title and now the Ring Angels title.
The torrid rivalry between Angelo “King Kong” Mosca and Tully Blanchard of the New Age Horsemen led to this No DQ Match. Blanchard, accompanied by his manager J.J. Dillon, looked confident waiting in the ring for Mosca who received a hero’s welcome from the hometown crowd in Toronto. Mosca was primed and ready for battle and suddenly the confident look of Blanchard disappeared as he consulted with Dillon. Blanchard was able to control early including using a foreign object on Mosca. It seemed like the ring was an afterthought with the no disqualification rules as the battle went to the floor often. Mosca picked up the pace and nearly put Blanchard out with the Sleeper Hold but he managed to escape. Mosca then had Blanchard pinned after a football tackle but New Age Horsemen members Curt Hennig and CW Anderson ran in and broke it up. Dillon directed traffic as they busted Mosca open and had him down until the Killer Bees (Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) hit the ring. The Bees fought Hennig and Anderson to the back leaving the bloody Mosca alone with Blanchard. Mosca the busted Blanchard open and scored a near fall with the Big Nasty Elbow Drop. Blanchard managed to avoid a corner charge and used a roll-up with the ropes for leverage but Mosca kicked out. By this time both men were bloody and exhausted and, after a distraction by Dillon, Blanchard hit a low blow on Mosca followed by a Slingshot Suplex for the pin and a controversial victory.
The two hottest free agents in LOW, Rob Van Dam and Tyler Black, were given the opportunity to take center stage at WrestleCade 12 and they did not disappoint. This was a rematch from Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #1185) where RVD defeated Black to earn a spot in the prestigious Gold Star Battle Royal. Black was looking to avenge that defeat but found himself on the defensive early and often after RVD countered an enzuigiri. RVD went on a strong offensive hitting key moves like the body scissors cradle, standing Moonsault and Rolling Thunder. Black finally got back into it stunning RVD with a buckle bomb and superkick combo. After a battle on the outside, where Black backdropped RVD over the guard rail, they returned to the ring. Black then went up top and hit the spectacular Phoenix Splash on RVD to score the pin. It was a huge victory for Black but after the performances of both men on this stage they should be signed to contracts somewhere in the new year.
The opening match saw the continuation of a legendary rivalry reborn in Golden Age Wrestling as Yukon Eric took on Killer Kowalski. The history between the two men dates to a time when Kowalski severed Eric’s ear in Montreal with a kneedrop from the top rope. Anytime these two meet you can bet that Eric is looking to avenge that fateful night. Eric fought toe-to-toe with Kowalski from the opening bell with the two battling in and out of the ring. Eric scored with the Woodsman’s Chop and used a powerful bearhug to gain control. Kowalski resorted to more roughhousing attacks and almost won it by count out after dropping Eric throat first on the guard rail. After some more tough exchanges it was Kowalski executing a backbreaker followed by a bombs away knee drop. That left Eric in a vulnerable state and Kowalski locked on the painful Kowalski Claw. Eric refused to give in to the punishing hold but being unable to escape he had his shoulders counted down by the referee resulting in a pin. Kowalski put the boots to him afterward until Eric recovered and sent him flying out of the ring with a running tackle drawing cheers from the crowd.
Injury Report: * Davey Richards will be out of action indefinitely with an ankle injury due to being assaulted by the New Age Horsemen following his PWI Invitational Cup Tournament victory over Rick Rude. LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox has fined the Horsemen a large undisclosed sum of money for the attack and sent a warning to manager J.J. Dillon that anything of this nature in the future could result in indefinite suspensions for him and his men.

I'll say that true WrestleCade goodness was on display and it was good to see AJ Styles keep the World Title by beating Bobo Brazil, plus that is a very unique trio of Gorgeous George, Roddy Piper and Tommy End winning their match...
Too bad the Boogie Woogie Man lost that "Street People" Lumberjack Match, but then losing to the Million Dollar Man is pretty cool. That is great that Davey Richards won the PWiT finals, but he paid at the hands of those New Age Horsemen. I'd love to see Richards comeback get payback and also win gold...

12 main events on one card, The Voodoo That Cruedoo is never finer than on the Wrestlecade cards!!
Congrats to The Phenomenal One on a very tough defense from Bobo Brazil.
With Andre & Stud defeating The Road Warriors has now become the fall heard around the world in as far as the tag ranks are concerned.
Rock And Roll Express hit the big stage and show em how it's done.
Sherri Martel wastes no time defeating Mildred Burke, must have been the plan all along, dont let Burke get comfortable or get into a rhythym.
Adam Cole emits his battle cry and me thinks we have a whole new bad ass faction to be on the look out for.
Tyler Black defeats The Whole Fn Show. The fact that that match was so low in the card says it all in as far as how stacked this line up is.
Crue, what you have here is an amalgamation of awesome divisions comprising a bonifide wrestling universe.
It so much more transcends the word "fed".
Mythology would be my top choice of a high level description of The Voodoo you got going on here man!
Keep on making the myths!!

Nice wins by Andre/Studd/Heenan and Styles. Thanks Troy. AJ Styles was really lucky to win that one over Bobo Brazil, especially on that last Coco Butt. That was an incredible match. It was also fun to use Heenan in the six-man tag and it was not too surprising to see "The Brain" strategically tagging in and out.
