Mark, could you start out our Happy New Year with some of your plans or ideas for the next POW set. I am sure you have a ton of awesome POW info locked up in that brain of yours. Free yourself and let some of the ideas escape into this thread. To many people on here are having serious POW withdrawals and would like to hear any kind of info or ideas you have. Thanks and keep up all the good work Mark. Whenever the next set is coming we are all looking forward to it. Long Live the POW!

I appreciate the interest in the set and those of you who want to hear news about what I've got in mind. But to be honest, I haven't really planned much of anything because it helps me to have a release schedule to have any inclination to start working on everything. It's not that I don't have general ideas of what I want to do. I just don't want to state those nebulous ideas and then build expectations in one direction when I may not wind up going that way.
So I'd say until we hear from Fed HQ what the plans are for POW, I'll probably be silent on the matter. But once we know, the floodgates will be open. In the meantime, I certainly don't discourage speculation. Never know; it might give me some ideas!

Well, we know DOCTOR PAYNE is P.O.W. bound if nothing else.  It seems for all intents and purposes the book is being closed on POW & ACE. I hope I'm wrong but all signs point in that direction IMO. |

That's what I'm thinking. Bite your toungue. POW and aCe is what keeps the months between Galacticons more interesting! There are WAYYYYY too many stoyrlines inviovled in each fed for them to just dry up and blowaway! For instwnce: Raven has Hanuman on his side, but who else may be coming to the POW to challenge Species? What is the fate of the war between Thayne and Ahnu? What about the Clash with the True way? these and more need to be settled BEFORE we can even THINK about shutting down the POW! and let's not even get stared on the aCe... |

In the end, regardless of storylines, it will come down to whether Tom wants them to continue. While they both definitely are very worthwhile, Tom is getting busier and busier with other stuff and just may not be able to have them right now.
Still my fingers are crossed that once things quite down again, we'll see the return of both.

well, I certainly will say, I really doubt the books will be closed permanently as I'm sure that would be the last thing on Tom's mind. First thing is to make fans as happy as possible, and closing the chapters of the POW and aCe wouldn't do that. So things get delayed for a while, doesn't mean they'll end. Whatever Fed HQ is working on, I'm sure it's gonna be HUGE and fans will really appreciate it! Patience is a virtue! All good things come to those who wait! |

Hey POW lovers,
Just like with aCe there's a delay in what we're planning to do with POW because there are some other BIG projects in the works in 2010!
Plus I'm thinking about a new approach to POW that focuses on a possible beginner's set for people who are fans of MMA.
Anyway when there's news I'll let you know. Our focus at the moment is Legends of Wrestling, Legends Online, Martial Law 2125, and a new Legends of the Future expansion.
This schedule doesn't include a surprise or two we'll announce in the days ahead.
