UWL WrestlingSpartanburg Memorial Auditorium Spartanburg, South Carolina Season 1, Show 3Singles Match [/i] Jimmy ValiantVersusBrodie Lee[/center] This match was over as soon as it started. "Lonesome" Jimmy Valiant, after being kicked out of Greg Valentine's tag team, was pinned within seconds of the opening bell when Brodie Lee nailed him with a swinging side slam. Valiant simply dropped his head and left the arena without a word. Can his losing streak end? Is Valiant suffering from psychological and mental trauma? Is Brodie Lee here to make an impact? Singles Match Brad Armstrong Versus Nikolai Volkoff The fans got behind "El Hijo del Bullet"; however, Volkoff pummeled the young Armstrong with everything he had. When he was finished toying with Armstrong, Volkoff put his smaller opponent away with the BACKBREAKER DROP. After the match, Volkoff got on the microphone and told fans he had a friend coming to the UWL with him the next time he steps into the ring. Who could it be, fans? Tag Team Match Frank Gotch & Bob Armstrong Versus Greg Valentine & Buddy Rose Gotch started the match off showing his technical prowess by putting Rose in a crossface armbar. After a couple of Iowa Backdrops, Gotch applied the rolling kneebar. This caused Valentine to come in and attack, and a wild brawl irrupted to the outside. When they got back to the ring, Rose applied a half Boston Crab, but Armstrong came in and attacked Rose, which lead to another brawl outside of the ring. Once things were back to "normal" in the ring, Gotch put Rose in the GOTCH TOEHOLD. As Rose cried out in pain, Valentine ran in for the save, but Armstrong cut him off as Rose tapped the canvas. After the match, Valentine shook his head and left another former partner in the ring. Who will Valentine tag with next? Will he eventually just give up? UWL Heritage Championship Bobo Brazil Versus Red Bastien This had to be the match of the night. Brazil tried to put away Red "Hot" Bastien early with the bearhug. That didn't work. He then tried the COCO BUTT. That didn't work. Brazil then got hit with a flying body press, which caught him off guard. Right after that, Bastien blazed the ring. Brazil kicked out of one ATOMIC DROP, but he found himself in a Boston Crab. Luckily, Brazil got to the ropes. However, Bastien hit Brazil with a final ATOMIC DROP to get the win. Brazil was stunned that he had just lost the UWL Heritage Championship! The fans were going nuts over Bastien's win! Is Red "Hot" Bastien a future UWL Heavyweight Champion? He sure as hell looks to be the future of the promotion! What's next for Bobo Brazil? Six-Man Tag Team Match Jimmy Snuka The Road Warriors Versus Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens Buddy Rogers This match was tainted with wild brawling and interferences! The Road Warriors hit Stevens with a spike piledriver, but he came back and nailed Animal with the Crippling Piledriver. Stevens then tagged in Bockwinkel who, without wasting any time, went straight in for an abdominal stretch. Animal managed to tag in Hawk after he broke the hold, but Bockwinkel put the other Road Warrior in an abdominal stretch, too! Stevens and Rogers then took out Animal and Snuka, allowing Bockwinkel to get the submission over Hawk. After the match, Bockwinkel, Stevens, and Rogers slammed Hawk's shoulder into the steel post, injuring him for eight weeks. What will Animal do know that his tag team partner is injured? Is Buddy Rogers in line for a shot at Snuka's title? Tune in in two weeks to find out, fans!

Good stuff going on here. Armstrong and Gotch makes for a tough combination. I'd like to see more from them as a team. That 4 way main event for the Heritage title was cool, and was glad to see Bobo come out with the win. Can't believe he lost it so quickly. Red Bastien could be on the rise in UWL. Could we see Johnny Valentine showing up to tag with his son? Great six man tag main event. Tough break for Animal, but I forsee Hawk getting revenge one way or another.

Brodie Lee kills Valiant, good stuff rolling along in the UWL! It was the fastest match I have EVER rolled. It worked perfectly. I have this angle going where "Lonesome" Jimmy Valiant is on this losing streak and nobody wants to team with him. Eventually, I would like to have a somewhat "Raven's Flock" with Valiant as the leader. I'm still amazed how pleased I am with the dice for that match!

I wonder if Nikolai Volkoff's partner will be one of the Russians, or something completely unexpected? Maybe it's his fellow Mongol?
Are you using Boggie Woggie Man Valiant or the tag version?
Anyway, I love the new things you're trying in UWL. Keep going strong.
