I believe Dick Brower was the ref on most of the Detroit stuff I've watched... can't wait to see!

Notes - Tex MacKenzie drawing is PERFECT. Great stats too. Super bootleg, man. David Schiltz - urs are pretty similar, but I like the roughneck edge you gave him. Really cool. I haven't seen him outside the WWF, but I imagine he was pretty wild. Eric the Red is cool. I have abunch of notes, but never made him. Great drawing! One of the best things to come from the community in a long time. What a great set. Really expertly made. Congratulations on the cool set! People could easily run territories now. I need to make more Detroit guys now... and I need some drawings (TRAVIS)

The Olson's gave their input on it. Also remember that The Sheik was working in tandem with Maple Leaf Wrestling so guys that were showing up in Detroit were also wrestling in Toronto and throughout Ontario especially Southern Ontario. I saw the Sheik a lot and as a kid I met Sweet Daddy Siki in our local arena, the guy was awesome to see in the ring. So it wouldn't be a surprise to see some overlap between the sets.

I wasn't implying you copied off me. Even if you had to fill out some dudes, I wouldn't mind. Several of our guys turned out similarly, but I think that's a testament to great minds thinking alike AND the eras being similar. I know I watched some Canadian stuff for my Detroit stuff, so there should definitely be some overlap.
Did you seen The Sheik vs. Tiger Jeet Singh (cage match) in Canada? Pretty brutal, I thought maybe that had something to do with the Singh from your set.
Great job again!

David Schiltz - urs are pretty similar, but I like the roughneck edge you gave him. Really cool. I haven't seen him outside the WWF, but I imagine he was pretty wild. It was a bit before my time, but Dr. D had a good run in the mid 70s in the Memphis area (I started in the late 70s). I became familiar with him during his AWA run, and feud with Hogan and then his WWF tenure. I was pumped to see him come back to Memphis in the mid 80s (after his firing), but his run only lasted a couple of months (I believe it was 1985)

@ Knapik: yeah I had seen some Tiger vs Sheik matches but the one that stood out in my mind was a Sheik vs Magnum TA in a steel cage!!
Schultz is a favourite of mine. He also wrestled quite a bit in Stampede Wrestling and actually throughout Canada here and there.

Wow, nice job on these cards!!! A few guys I had forgot all about. I wish I had all the artistic talent people have on this site in general. I can see why people were anxiously anticipating this set. Always happy to see Big John Studd, another one of my favorites growing up. Very nicely done.

Very nice set! Got some guys that I'd love to use especially the Germans (Von Rascke and Krupp). The Gestapo. Looking good. I just need some more time to play to do some regional feds too.

Always happy to see Big John Studd, another one of my favorites growing up. Very nicely done. Jerod did an AWESOME job on that John Studd card! I love his power mechanic and all the playtesting I did of that card it performed and reflected Studd on so many levels. I put it up against Cory's Andre the Giant and man what an epic match it was! Studd ended up getting beat but it was very freaking close. I think folks should be very happy with this set. I was hoping to get Trav on board for doing artwork on MLWII but I'm thinking his time might be a problem. But Trav if your up for it let me know.
