When the booklets were more "press conference oriented," Tom had DragonMaster and Vanity as the official announce team. IIRC, there was even a bootleg card floating around for a while that was put out by TournamentMaster (I could be wrong..I have about a billion boots and it's hard to keep track). If you send him a PM, he might be able to hook you up. Pretty cool chart on back. Yep, I did make this bootleg a while back (2001). The mechanic was similar to Vidtek's current mechanic, with comments from both guys thrown in. Good LORD! That card is how old?? Man, time flies.

Who would youhave used as color commentators during the original years (2087 onwards)? Mr. Vegas' suggestion of using Torin Caelum and Blacklash is a really good one and very similar to the team I used: Caelum on PBP and Ricken Prince on color ( his little crown made him a natural choice IMO).

In the early years, I used Torin Caelum and K.O. Keller. Caelum was the Gordon Solie-esque play-by-play man, while Keller was the easily-fired up color commentator. They even dusted off their boots and trunks and wrestled every now and again, generally against some young, mouthy (and largely unsuccessful) tag team that didn't like the way the duo called their matches, and were in need of a big win to generate some heat. With the "coming out of retirement" charts, Keller and Caelum were beatable (but still surprisingly tough, even fifteen years later).
However, if you're looking for a color commentator for the New Beginning era, I would use Krakan. He'd be the classic heel color man ala early Jerry Lawler, and would make a great foil for a more clean-cut, fan favorite type.
Krakan's the way to go.

I created my own. I am not currently using them (I had a play by play guy as well) so I can catch up and it takes some time for me to write up the interactions between the two.
