I'm looking into starting my game, and I was wondering what some of the more popular bootleg rules and matches are.
The archive here is insane, so a general direction is all I'm looking for.

I think he was naming a bootleg wrestler, not rule or match. Some standard bootleg rules, people choose to either enforce or not:
Champions Advantage: There are several variations, champions need to roll their pin twice or three time consecutively to lose a title, champs start with a lower pin rating, champs can use an extra interference or distraction. Any of these rules are used to prolong a champs title reign and is favored by those who enjoy long title reigns.
Double roll DQ's: Early in the games creation it was noted there were a lot of matches ending in DQ. I think this is more of an official rule now, but most people (to my knowledge) roll DQ's twice. Some people also do this with count outs, but I feel the charts have ruled out count outs more now, so I don't double roll CO's.
Personal preference, I use bootleg charts to create and promote storylines, DaytonDave has his "Mayhem table" which can lead you to several other tables(injury, attack, pull apart, etc.) I would recommend using these table to anyone, I think they're great! I believe all can be found on the index and the instructions are on the charts.
Others I've favored over time: Championship Scramble match (by Mr. Hyde (I think)), Elimination Chamber, also several people use different rules for a Battle Royal or Rigel(Royal) Rumble. Chances are if you've seen a match on WWE or TNA, there are bootleg rules for that match.

Yeah, Crow is arguably to most sought after bootleg wrestler of all time. Created by Jamie B. Wilson! I have his original card. Lemme know if you want it or not!

for me, I really liked the Tables, Ladders and Chairs table. I forget the author of it as I don't have it in front of me. But I did print it off from the archives so just have to find it there. There are some others too, like Money In The Bank match (two versions) that are done well. But yeah, there are a ton of just great, creative and inventive fan created matches in the archives. A guy could lose himself in there very easily! But I'm sure glad we have it, as it's a great resource and I visit it frequently to find a certain match I'm thinking of! It's great!!!
