Now that legendsonline is done, when can we expect ACE next?

Um that's a good question. I would be willing to bet that it will be late this year at the earliest. I don't think it will be anytime soon, but hey I would love to be wrong.

I'd expect it's going to be a while if ever.

I'm interested to know this myself. I just started playing aCe again and since there's nothing beyond Dark Tides, I'm planning to use select bootlegs to keep the promotion alive.
The lack of any details or updates whatsoever is disheartening, to say the least.

I'll say. aCe is one of my favorite releases. a new dimension with so much backstory and so much that can still be explored!

Just looked back to see when I posted my last aCe card. It's been over a year now. So a whole year since I finished up Dark Tides. That really sucks and makes me think even if we do get a new release....how long will we be waiting for another one after. Reminds me of the Ringside Companion, how long has that one been pushed back now? Doesn't look good at all and I hate saying that.

In the end, whether there's lots to be explored or not, the sales will be the difference. I believe aCe's sales are a distant 4th to the 3 big sellers (GWF, Legends, GWFZ) and Tom has so much to focus on, he's setting aCe and POW aside. If time allows and demand increases, I'm sure we'll get card sets again. I've stayed quiet on this for the most part, but because quotes like this are likely to start spreading false information I'd like to point out a few things.... Sales of the aCe are NOT a "distant 4th" to any COTG products and there aren't "3 big sellers." It's true that the aCe and POW sets have been put on the back burner for 2010 but it has nothing to do with customer demand or lack of sales, especially since switching to digital and/or PDF sets. I can't speak for POW, but internal decisions were made to hold off on aCe primarily because as writer/producer of the sets I'm unavailable to work on them. Fortunately, I am continuing to work creatively for Tom...and now, it's beyond the usual "Filsinger Games" capacity. More news on that when Tom decides to begin revealing/promoting what that is all about. As for the future of the aCe product, I think it's safe to say while the sets themselves are on indefinite hold, the story-lines and characters have a good chance of carrying on in one capacity or another. Thanks to everyone who misses the aCe being a regularly released game edition though! ...I miss it too!

Even though I don't think that's exactly the news we were all hoping for that's still something. Which is more than we had gotten previously.
While it seems that there's a chance aCe will continue, it seems that it could just become a situation where aCe exists in the timeline, talent gets cherry picked to the GWF, and it doesn't get any "official" sets for awhile, if ever. Just occasionally referenced.

Send Avarice to the GWF if this is the case Hawk stated. Let him thrive, he's the star of aCe and would be a GWF star too.

Any chance ACE could continue as a semi-bootleg with official blessing sorta thing like GWFZ?
