Are there any wrestlers that, when they were announced for Legends, you were either in the "aw, no" camp, or the "Eh, who cares?" camp, but when you started using them in your fed, you developed a real fondness for them?
I've had a few of them...Dick Hutton was one that I bought because I'm a completest, did some research on him, tossed him into my fed...and found myself really liking him. Wound up having such chemistry in a feud with Red Bastien that I put them together in a tag team.
Another one that I grew to love was George Hackenschmidt...I brought him in as a face being bamboozled by Nikolai Volkoff, Iron Sheik and Nikita Breznikov, but around the time Legends Vintage came out, I united Gotch and Hackenschmidt with Antonino Rocca, Jim Londos and Dan Severn to feud with Justin Credible, Chris Candido, The Sheik, Sabu and The Sandman.
Ilio DiPaolo is another one I bought just because I'm a completest, but in my mind's eye, the fans always rally behind this fiery Italian when he gets on a roll against dirty rulebreakers like Konnan.
Don Leo Jonathan is another favorite that I was ambivalent about when he was announced, but his performance in my fed has made me a fan. He's become kind of the enforcer of the babyfaces in my LWF, and a constant top contender.
Are there any Legends guys you all weren't excited about when you got them, but have turned into guys you're fans of now?

Frank Gotch. Obviously, I'd never seen him wrestle in real life, and before this game, I'd never heard of him. But he is an awesome wrestler whenever I've used him.

Ilio DiPaolo most certainly, he's become one of my top 10 favorites in LOW. I also really got into the Killer Bees from this game especially with masked confusion.

Don Leo. If I can start playing on a regular basis like I want, he's in for a run.
Ox Baker. The man is a beast for me.
Dan Severn. Speaking of a "Beast".

DLJ, The Vachons, and Jim Londos are the first to come to mind.

Yeah, Dan Severn also grew on me due to LOW. He's very fun to use.

When I found out that Frank Gotch was in the original set I was thinking..."How the hell is he gonna' work in my fed?". But he's actually one of my best wrestlers out there. He's getting into some intense feuds and the favorite to win the King of the Ring.
