I just got Legends of the Future and Legends 2nd Fall. I initially ordered both sets with the idea of creating an (Heyman era) ECW style fed with RVD as the centerpiece.
Just for giggles, I played a Shiek/Necro Butcher match that was perhpas one of the best matches I've ever played. Now I'm thinking about creating an Upstarts vs. Legends card featuring a rematch between these two, The Heartbreak Express versus the Midnight Express, Magnum T.A. versus Brent Albright and RVD versus Quackenbush in the main event.
Needless to say I'm digging the sets.

LOTF can surprise for sure. I had a great feud between Zbyszko and Drake Younger.

I had Castagnoli as a major threat to Mil Mascaras' World Championship. The LOTF guys can hang when they have too.

Well I've definitely been surprised. I thought they'd get ran over by the LOW elites, but so far I've had some close matches and a few big wins. Necro Butcher has been perhaps more lucky than good, but he hasn't lost yet.

Necro's card is capable of topping anyone, just not with any consistency in my experience.

Necro's card is a hell of a lot of fun, and I agree about Necro not being consistent, he had a decent win streak (something like 8 wins) in my LWF fed until he got a title shot (he beat Bockwinkel to get the shot), and Race just murdered him. He pinned Race in three tag matches after that, but never beat him one-on-one. |

Yeah, I'm doing the same thing. I'm currently debating whether to add the wrestlers who were around in the 1990s WCW too. Also, some of the other guys would fit in, like The Sheik, Bruiser Brody, The Missing Link? |

Sheik and Brody would make good special attractions. Guys like Link, Turk and Steele could be added without overpowering the others.
