Prime Time Showcase 9 03.09.2000 from Savannah, GA
Gorgeous George vs. S.D. Jones Gorgeous George defeated S.D. Jones with a rolling hiplock at 9:11 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Good back and forth match, Special Delivery came close to victory but George hung in there and eventually was able to avenge his earlier loss.
- The Empire Arrives! - The card opens "Kimi Ga Yo" Japanese women in kimonos bearing flowers walk to the ring... they walk to the center, stop, turn and face the entrance. They are soon followed by Tiger Mask and Jushin Liger. Both men walk to the ring together, they both enter and walk to the center of the ring. The bow to one another before kneeling as they face the entry way. Soon after, Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba enter together and walk to the ring, both men are brandishing katanas. They enter to the ring, bow to one another. They draw their katanas from their sheaths and place the points to the mat and face the entry way. Finally they are followed by Rikidozan. He walks to the ring with all the pride of a conquering emperor. He enters the ring and stands in the middle of the other four men.
Rikidozan is handed the mic and begins to address the crowd in his native tongue as an English translator spoke after:
"Konichiwa Americans. We have come from the honorable and noble land of Japan to compete against the greatest wrestlers from around the world. We will prove that we are the best athletes and wrestlers in the world. We issue an open challenge to any wrestler or team to face us in a battle of honor. We look forward to winning your championships and taking them back to our homeland. We look forward to our first challenge next week. Thank you. Sayonara.
SnowBirds vs. Extreme Impact Al Snow defeated Justin Credible with a SNOW PLOW at 11:23 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Extreme Impact had things going there way until Andre The Giant came down to ringside and watched Sandman and Credible. Both men had a fearful look upon their face. Late in the match Credible decided he wanted to taunt Andre... Andre's massive fist came through the ropes and nailed Credible, spiining him around into Al Snow who then leveled him with the SNOW PLOW! The Sandman tried to attack The Giant from behind but Andre caught him and tossed him into the first row! Justin Credible recovered and grabbed his Singapore Cane. He left off the ring apron and nailed Andre in the back of the head! Andre stumbled an inch forward before turning around with rage in his eyes! He grabbed Credible by the throat with both hands and began to choke the life out of him! Suddenly The Sandman nailed Andre in the back with a chair..stunning him just long enough for both men to make their retreat!

Iron Sheik vs. Konnan Konnan defeated Iron Sheik with a TEQUILA SUNRISE at 14:15 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: This was a really exciting match, lots of back and forth action that spilled out of the ring alot. Sheik tried everything he could in this one but Konnan came to fight and fight he did.

Steve Williams vs. Ox Baker Steve Williams defeated Ox Baker with an OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE at 4:31 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: This match was not like their previous encounter. Williams was primed and ready for his opponent tonight and quickly put him away with the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE.
Rick Rude vs. The Destroyer Rick Rude defeated The Destroyer with a clothesline at 8:39 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Maybe it was the hard fought match 3 days earlier, perhaps it was the rough schedule The Destroyer has fought in his AACW journey, or just the stress of losing the World Title and failing in his quest to win it back... The Destroyer is beginning to slump. He fought a hard match tonight and tried everything in his arsenal to put down his opponent Rick Rude down for the count. It was not to be. It looks like Rude losing the Intercontinental Title has made him a more dangerous, more focused individual. He took everything The Destroyer had to offer and gave him back even more. Finally after a RUDE AWAKENING that only got a two count, Rude captures the victory with a clothesline.
