Granted in my GWF, I'm only in January 2090 and he has had 2 title reigns, but so far, IMO Thantos has been a let down.
His first title reign he won the title from Star Warrior and held it for 140 days, but he lost the title back to Star Warrior. The second title reign, he won the title from Star Warrior and lost it back to him after only 25 days. He was fired for assaulting a ref, but came back as the Avenging Warrior and won a contract. After revealing his identity, he is yet to win another match. Currently he's ranked 10th in my fed and has shown no sign of climbing the ladder. Star Warrior getting an upgrade and not being far from the Matador, Chaos, Alpha Force, introductions, plus Spike's upgrade, I fear Thantos will never be a true legend.
He's never won a Rigel Rumble, Star Warrior won in 2087. He's never won a Ring Warrior tournament Star Warrior won in 2087 and 2088. He's never won wrestler of the year, Star Warrior won in 2087 and 2088. Thantos has been dominated by Star Warrior! Star Warrior has 5 title reigns already!
Has anyone else had Thantos not live up to the hype?

Thantos is a 4 time champion for me as well as the first man to reach 30 wins in my fed!

Thantos did well...Chaos was nowhere near as dominant for me as he shoudl have been but the all time choker for me will always be Bloodline.

Thantos won the Galacti-CORN Championship for me two years ago. He has always been good, even against the likes of Monolith, Endgame, Encubus and such. The man stands the test of time and will always be great for me. I'm with Troy as Bloodline has indeed been the most notorious "choker" for me. Never could get that guy to win the matches I wanted him to!

Guess that's just the way it has went for you with Thantos not getting the job done. I'd bet there isn't a lot of players where that is the case, his card is just too good especially for those first several years of the GWF.

I do my own thing, but when I first started my fed Thantos lost to Star warrior in the Tournament finals, and won the belt two weeks later.
He went on to hold the belt for about 5 months. This was his ONLY reign as Champion in my fed. He did hold the Heavy Metal title briefly, but lost in a HUGE upset.
He left my fed and went to feds run by both my brother and friend, and had Moderate success. He was a 2x Champion in my friends fed, and won the big one just once in my brothers fed.
I've been toying with the idea of bringing him back to my GWF to see if he can capture any of that success he has had for others as I feel he got a raw deal when I started playing the game when I was younger...

I've never had him disappoint when running a fed that involved him. I'm thinking of starting back at 2087 again for the fun of it and hopefully this time I can run it all the way up to current. I just need the older sets to come out for COTGOnline faster.
