Great to hear guys. I want everyone to know I put a little extra effort into this set, as did everyone else involved in the project. As many of you know this entire set was written and constructed over the three months while in hospital waiting for my heart transplant. Never again in my life will my mind and soul be in the same place is was when this was written.
In fact, I've been wanting to share this for a long time. Professor Sudden and The Phenomenal Swift came to me in a dream while in ICU, while I was medically and clinically "dying". I dreamed of a scientist named Mr. Sudden who was dying of a life long sickness. Because of his sickness, his energy levels came in very brief spurts, just as mine did in real life. When his energy spurts were exhausted, he was given no choice but to lay low and re-charge. He lived every day like this with nothing else to do but hope and wait for a cure. There were no guarantees it would come in time to save him. So he spent his last days creating a Frankenstein monster named the Swift. The Swift was designed to be a man who could never get sick. Never be afraid. Never have to feel what it feels like to wonder if he would wake up to see tomorrow. It was Mr. Sudden's way of coming to terms with his own mortality. Even though he could not save himself he wanted to create something in his place that lived forever, thus forever carrying on his name.
That dream ended up becoming the story you read for Mercury Rising and those characters evolved into Professor Sudden and The Phenomenal Swift.
It puts a lump in my throat as I write this to tell you when a doctor looks at my mother and father and says "....I don't know if we have two weeks..." I'm not kidding you guys when I tell you there were days I wondered if this set, or what I'd be able to finish of it, wouldn't be the last thing old Swarm ever left the greatest promoters in the galaxy with.
I am very proud of both characters, and it means very much to me that people have fun with them. The entire set is dedicated to all the people who hung with me through those many months (you know who you are), but those two characters particular are dedicated to everyone who has gotten close enough to the edge of fear to have seen the whites of it's eyes, fought it, and lived to tell about it.
Call me corny, but that's the deal.
Peace and love forever. This set is for you. I hope everyone who plays it enjoys it very much.
Rob

That Swarm was able to produce such a high quality product under life circumstances that would challenge any person to their core is absolutely remarkable. That he did so out of his own pocket for the benefit of all the people who enjoy the PM Brand and donated the proceeds directly to Filsinger Games speaks for itself!
Just the marketing alone of this project was incredible from start to finish and resulted in opening even more doors for the many talented members of this community. This whole process is an achievement to be very proud of!

Swarm, my man. You are an inspiration for anyone that thinks they've had it rough. To be on the brink, surviving longer than known, coming back quicker than expected.....STRONG!!
Can't wait to get this set. If I never played it (highly unlikely) it would still serve as a hell of a tribute to you.
And to everyone else involved in this set. Hell of a job as well.

Hey Swarm,
Thanks man. I'm a few years game time away before I can really get going with this set, but i'm 100 percent satisfied with what I read and seen in the cards. I love that there is such a good story to go with what you wrote. It is an excellent read bro. I'm very happy to see your on the mend. Here's to you writing many more GWFZ story lines, without the pain.
