UltraMega Quarter 2, Season 1 AGE OF THE FALL Reunited for one night & were defeated by the Briscoes in a non-title, no DQ match at Caught Somewhere In Time
AMERICAN WOLVES Began the quarter as tag team champions & successfully defended title against the Colony at No Sleep Til Brooklyn...Defeated for the belts by the Briscoes at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash, they subsequently broke up & entered into singles competition.
AUSTIN ARIES Defeated Nigel McGuinness for the UltraMega championship at No Sleep Til Brooklyn, but his title reign was short lived, as he was immediately challenged & defeated by Elite 8 winner Tyler Black...Dropped 5 of his next 7 matches & is currently on the outside looking in at the UltraMega championship picture
TYLER BLACK Began the quarter fresh off his victory in the Elite 8 tournament & wasted no time challenging & defeating Austin Aries following Aries' championship victory at No Sleep Til Brooklyn, becoming the first two-time UltraMega champion in the process...His second championship reign was a brief one, however, as he was defeated for the belt by Nigel McGuinness at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash...Reunited with Jimmy Jacobs to take on the Briscoes in a non-title match at Caught Somewhere In Time, but the duo were defeated in a no DQ match...In the middle of a losing streak, he's dropped 4 consecutive matches sincle losing the title
BRISCOES Rebounded from a disappointing 1st quarter by defeating the American Wolves for the tag belts at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash...Defeated a reunited Age of the Fall in a non-title, no DQ match at Caught Somewhere In Time...Championship reign was a brief one, however, as they dropped the belts to the Kings of Wrestling at Canadian Chaos
ARIK CANNON Wasn't long for UltraMega wrestling, appearing on only 3 cards in quarter 2 after signing with the company near the end of quarter 1...Beat Paul London before losing to Gran Akuma...Final appearance in UltraMega was a double DQ against Chuck Taylor
THE COLONY Seems the Colony is content to consistently be the "second best" tag team in UltraMega...Were defeated by tag team champs the American Wolves for a 2nd time at No Sleep Til Brooklyn...Continue to dominate the Osirian Portal each time the 2 teams meet...With a title shot against the Briscoes at Canadian Chaos on the line, they were defeated by the Kings of Wrestling
BRYAN DANIELSON For reasons unknown to man, the American Dragon just can't beat Erick Stevens, dropping 3 matches to him in quarter 2...Beat Delirious at No Sleep Til Brooklyn, but was pinned by Roderick Strong at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash and by Sabu at Caught Somewhere In Time...Defeated Tyler Black at Canadian Chaos to land smack dab in the middle of the UltraMega title picture...Is the ONLY member of the UltraMega roster to appear on every card
DELIRIOUS Despite losing to Bryan Danielson at No Sleep Til Brooklyn, he may one day look to quarter 2 as the pinnacle of his UltraMega career, as he pinned Austin Aries at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash, pinned Roderick Strong in a #1 contender's match for the UltraMega title, pinned Al Snow at Caught Somewhere In Time & ended the quarter as the UltraMega champion, following an improbable victory over Nigel McGuinness at Canadian Chaos
SARA DEL REY Began the quarter with an impressive victory over newcomer April Hunter, but then dropped 3 straight matches to Ms Chif & Jazz twice...Currently nowhere near title contention
EDDIE EDWARDS Has struggled as a solo wrestler & has yet to rise above the mid-card in the Jr. Heavyweight division...Lone victory came against Jigsaw
GRAN AKUMA The former Team F.I.S.T. member continues to hold his own as a singles wrestler...Scored an impressive submission victory over former partner Icarus at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash...Defeated by Chuck Taylor in a #1 contender's match for Mike Quackenbush's Jr. Heavyweight championship, he nonetheless remains a threat to capture the gold
DAIZEE HAZE Began the quarter as the reigning Women's champ following her shocking defeat of Ms Chif...Successfully defended the title against her arch-rival at both No Sleep Til Brooklyn & Big Ass Bluegrass Bash...Defeated Nora Greenwald in a non-title match at Caught Somewhere In Time...Luck finally ran out at Canadian Chaos, as Ms Chif regained the title, but she's proven to be a legitimate threat in the Women's division
HILLBILLY WRECKING CREW Their run was a short one, as they appeared on only 3 cards...Suffered 2 shocking losses to the Colony, but did defeat Eddie Kingston & Drake Younger
APRIL HUNTER Has thus far wrestled only 2 matches, losing to Sara Del Rey & Ms Chif, but does anybody look better in defeat?
ICARUS Came crashing back to Earth [pun fully intended] in quarter 2 after exploding on the singles scene near the end of quarter 1...Was defeated by former Team F.I.S.T. partner Gran Akuma at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash and has struggled since, dropping 3 of 4 matches
JIMMY JACOBS Started the quarter off with a loss to Delirious & largely disappeared until reuniting with Tyler Black to take on the Briscoes in a no DQ, non-title match at Caught Somehere In Time, where the duo was unsuccessful...Future with UltraMega remains a huge mystery
JAZZ Arrived mid-quarter & made an immediate impression, especially on Sara Del Rey who submitted to her in her debut...Looks like she could be the biggest challenge Ms Chif faces in the next quarter
JIGSAW The proverbial mid-carder...Wins some, loses some, nowhere near a curtain-jerker, but also not nearly a main eventer
BRIAN KENDRICK Began the quarter as the Jr. Heavyweight champion, but dropped belt to Mike Quackenbush at No Sleep Til Brooklyn & hasn't so much as sniffed a title shot since...Pinned by former partner Paul London at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash, but the 2 successfully reunited at Caught Somewhere In Time, defeating the James Gang
KINGS OF WRESTLING Bounced back from a disappointing quarter 1 in a big way...After suffering 2 earlier losses to the Briscoes, defeated the Colony in a #1 contender's match & went on to defeat the Briscoes for the tag belts at Canadian Chaos, becoming the first two-time tag team champions in UltraMega history
EDDIE KINGSTON & DRAKE YOUNGER The CZW vets had a brief run in UltraMega, defeating the Young Bucks in their debut...Suffered back-to-back losses to the Hillbilly Wrecking Crew & the Osirian Portal & were not seen together since
PAUL LONDON Bounced back from a loss to Ultramantis Black at No Sleep Til Brooklyn by pinning former partner Brian Kendrick at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash...The 2 successfully reunited at Caught Somwehere In Time, defeating the James Gang
JERRY LYNN Despite victories over Bryan Danielson & Delirious, father time may be catching up with Lynn...Was annihilated by Rob Van Dam at Caught Somewhere In Time...May be fighting for a roster spot in quarter 3
JD MICHAELS Defeated Delirious in his UltraMega debut...Pinned by Adam Pearce...Defeated Val Venis at Caught Somewhere In Time...Now that April Hunter is on board, will we be seeing more of Michaels?
NIGEL McGUINNESS Began the quarter as the UltraMega champion, but was defeated by Austin Aries at No Sleep Til Brooklyn...Wasted no time in reclaiming the gold, first defeating Erick Stevens in a #1 contender's match & then defeating Tyler Black by submission at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash...Became the 2nd man [after Black] to win the championship twice as a result...Defeated Steve Corino in a non-title match at Caught Somewhere In Time before being upset by Delirious, dropping the belt at Canadian Chaos...Still remains THE top threat to win the UltraMega championship at any time
MsCHIF Unsuccessful in her attempts to regain the Women's championship from Daizee Haze at both No Sleep Til Brooklyn & Big Ass Bluegrass Bash, she remained undaunted & finally reclaimed the gold at Canadian Chaos...The first two-time Women's champion in UltraMega history
NECRO BUTCHER Made a special return to UltraMega & was defeated by the Sandman in a no-holds-barred South Philly street fight at Caught Somewhere In Time
ADAM PEARCE His stay in UltraMega was not a long one, as he never really got on track after joining the fed late in quarter 1...Lost twice to arch-rival Delirious, as well as dropping 2 matches to Roderick Strong...Lone victories came against Strong & JD Michaels
OSIRIAN PORTAL Continue to be dominated by the Colony, as they have yet to defeat them in UltraMega...Actually hold their own against other teams, with victories over the Briscoes, Young Bucks & Drake Younger / Eddie Kingston during the quarter
MIKE QUACKENBUSH Absolutely dominant performance in quarter 2...Defeated Icarus in a #1 contender's match before reclaiming the Jr. Heavyweight title from Brian Kendrick at No Sleep Til Brooklyn...The first two-time Jr. Heavyweight champion in UltraMega history...Successfully defended the title against Chuck Taylor at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash...Defeated the legendary Jushin Liger in a non-title match at Caught Somewhere In Time...Successfully retained the title against Taylor for a 2nd time at Canadian Chaos...Continues to be THE measuring stick in the Jr. Heavyweight division
DAVEY RICHARDS Jury's still out over whether Richards will cut it in the singles scene...Looked dominant in victories against Jerry Lynn & Erick Stevens, dominated in losses against Bryan Danielson & Austin Aries
ERICK STEVENS See Jigsaw. No, seriously. Same wrestler, different weight class
RODERICK STRONG Finally came to life after perhaps the most disappointing quarter 1 of ANY member of the roster...Looked dominant in victories over Adam Pearce, Jerry Lynn & Tyler Black....Achilles heel however was Delirious, who defeated Strong twice, including a #1 contender's match...Looks to finally be making his rise to the top of the UltraMega ladder
SUPER CRAZY Arrived mid-quarter with a lot of hype, but has yet to live up to it...Does own victories over both Brian Kendrick & Paul London
CHUCK TAYLOR Continues to be one of the top contenders in the Jr. Heavyweight division...Unsuccessfully challenged Mike Quackenbush for the gold at Big Ass Bluegrass Bash & Canadian Chaos...Will 3rd time be the charm?
ULTRAMANTIS BLACK Disappeared from UltraMega for reasons still not known...Scored victories over Jigsaw & Paul London prior to his departure...The safe bet is that we've yet to see the last of him
SCOTTY VORTEKZ Made a brief, unsuccessful appearance in UltraMega, losing to Gran Akuma twice & Jigsaw
YOUNG BUCKS Hands down, the single WORST team in UltraMega...Lost EVERY match they wrestled in quarter 2, and that was after going 3-5 in quarter 1...Simply put, they look totally overmatched & may soon be wished luck in "future endeavors"
DRAKE YOUNGER Made a special appearance at Caught Somehere In Time & pinned Justin Credible
