Thanks for reading, it is appreciated. Hoping to actually squeeze a "show" in today, as I have a rare day off from work. Looking forward to the results from Weekend In L.A., I wouldn't be surprised to see all titles change hands, of course, there is that small matter of those darn dice getting in the way!

Following yet another controversial finish with the UltraMega championship on the line, the executive board is pleased to announce that UltraMega champion Delirious will once again put the title on the line against Bryan Danielson at our next DVD taping!
"Windy City War" will take place at the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, Illinois and will be headlined by the 4th consecutive meeting between these 2 men with the UltraMega championship at stake, but this time with one stipulation...
The first-ever STEEL CAGE match in UltraMega history will [hopefully] settle the score between Delirious and Danielson! No disqualifications. No count-outs. There MUST be a clear winner!
In other UltraMega news:
Following in the footsteps of Team F.I.S.T. and the American Wolves, The Kings of Wrestling, following the loss of the Tag Team titles to the recently reformed Londrick, have announced that they will be parting ways for the forseeable future and will both enter into singles competition. To take their place on the roster, the aforementioned American Wolves will re-enter the tag team division! The former champions will look to once again capture the gold in a very tough, very talented tag team division which recently added N.O.W. veterans the North Star Express to it's ranks.
UltraMega executives have also finally addressed the recent departures of several members of the roster, most notably the Osirian Portal & the Colony. Executives were quoted as saying that "neither team really fit the direction UltraMega is heading towards" , yet wished both teams luck in all future endeavors.
Though no reason was given, executives also disclosed that Erick Stevens has in fact left the promotion as well.
Executives would neither confirm nor deny rumours speculating on possible additions to the roster, saying only:
"As we near the completion of what has been a very successful first season of UltraMega Wrestling, we would like to thank all of the wrestlers that have appeared at our events throughout the season. The wrestlers currently on our roster will be the men & women that carry us through to the completion of this season".

Maybe Danielson will get the belt this time. You've had a heck of a build up.

As the first season of UltraMega Wrestling nears the finish line, it appears the promotion could be facing some serious questions regarding a second season...
In what could be a devastating blow to the promotion, BOTH Nigel McGuinness AND Tyler Black, the ONLY 2-time champions in the promotion's history, have announced they will NOT be returning for a second season!
McGuinness & Black, along with Bryan Danielson & Austin Aries, have long been viewed by UltraMega as the company's biggest stars and as such, are literally the cornerstones of the promotion. Can such a loss be absorbed in the ultra-competetive independent wrestling market? UltraMega executives seem to think so and released the following statement regarding the shocking departures of 2 of the company's biggest stars:
"While we are deeply saddened at the loss of 2 wrestlers who have done so much for this promotion & helped put us on the map, so to speak, we understand & encourage their desires to move on to bigger promotions. We wish them both all of the luck in the world and would welcome either back, at any time, with no questions asked."
Also, it has yet to be determined how much of an impact the upcoming CHIKARA promotion will have on UltraMega, though the UltraMega staff appears to be optimistic :
"We always have & will continue to allow the members of the UltraMega roster to compete in other promotions. At the same time, we welcome all wrestlers from any promotion to come wrestle for us. It's what makes independent wrestling in this country great. We do not view CHIKARA as the enemy, or as a threat. In fact, we look forward to one day working together, and perhaps one day we'll co-promote the biggest independent wrestling card in history."
UltraMega executives also announced the immediate releases of both April Hunter & Jazz, and wished both luck in their future endeavours, despite giving no reason for their releases.
Speculation regarding the potential UltraMega - Season 2 roster continues to run rampant, with the 2 most obvious questions being "who will be coming" and "who will be going?" If the UltraMega executive staff knows, they're not talking. At least not to us.
"Again, we offer no comment regarding the talent that either will or will not be appearing during season two. We do guarantee, however, that there will in fact, be a season two."
Stay tuned wrestling fans, sounds like things could get real interesting...

Great cards lucifer. This is one of the reasons why I branched out from the NWA to Pro-Wrestling MAX. I wanted the main title to be a Universal Champion and not a World Champion. The same with the Tag Team titles too. Also, my plan is for my (40-man) Roster was to have 30 wrestlers to weigh 250 lbs and under, and 10 wrestlers to weigh 251 lbs to 300 lbs, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! If a wrestler weighs 302 lbs...Too Bad!! No Exceptions. Other than that, MAX will be a great promotion bar none.
