I just read it was announced at the Chikara show this evening, which TM is said to be in attendance, that the legendary Manami Toyota will be wrestling her first match on U.S. soil for Chikara in September!
That could be something that makes me seriously try to attend, pending my duties at the paper. I had the honor of meeting Toyota my last trip to Tokyo. We had lunch with her, she spoke a smattering of english but had someone to translate so we could ask her questions. It was awesome!

I bought a "Best Of" from George Mayfield, and her match with Akira Hokuto is Phenominal! While I was watching it at the Dealer Table, the guy who was helping George sell DVD's said "Here Comes the Greatest Drop Kick Ever!!!". Believe me! She flies in from off Camera, and Nails Hokuto!!! I can't wait to meet her and Shoot her Match(es)!

You'd think calling it the best dropkick ever would oversell it, but yeah that's the best dropkick ever.
I love youtube. I've seen her do this move in Fire Pro for years but never live.
