My question to the group is
- How many feds do you run?
- How do you give each fed a different feel?
I do run multiple feds. In my Chronicles of Kronos, I run all four current CotG feds, the GWF, POW, aCe and GWFZ.
I basically run it like they're competing against each other for ratings and will have inter promotional battles with each other as well. Mostly in a huge 64 Man Tournament with each faction entering 16 wrestlers from their roster. With a points system to determine who wins the tournament based on who wins their matches. I also do inter promotional PPV like a Battle Zone in which two factions square off head to head in matches with a points system to determine who wins the PPV at the end.
IE: say the POW is going to face the GWFZ in Battle Zone.
I'd have like 10 matches. POW stars like Euritar, Brainstorm, Shylock, Rubicon etc... taking on GWFZ stars like G.Q. Stratus, Grash, Dr. Payne, Overtime, Pride, etc...
most of the 10 matches will be singles matches or tag matches, like Euritar taking on G.Q. Stratus and the winner would gain points for their faction.
And the next match maybe a tag team match between Darwin's Legacy against Titan Death, with the winner receiving points.
You can run any kind of match you want and usually I save a big Battle Zone match with 5 POW stars and 5 GWFZ stars in the Main Event.
Very entertaining PPV card and gives the factions some bragging rights throughout the course of the year.
Every faction hosts an event, whether it's a Big 64 Man Invitational or a Battle Zone PPV Event.
And each faction has their own events as well, as the POW has two shows, one wrestling show, one MMA show a week and is sort of like the old ECW, underground wrestling sort of feel.
The GWF has sort of a "Best of the Best" theme and is like the WWE for me.
the aCe is really like the TNA for me, new, inventive, and trying to make a big impact in the universe.
and the GWFZ is the starting point, lots of new wrestlers hoping to make it to the big leagues one day, sort of like a Ring of Honor sort of feel to it.
Very fun way to play. But the CoK is much more than that as well. I use it as my own personal play ground to bring back some of the old classics, whether it's 2095, 2076, 2119 whatever. Kronos is an avenue where anything can happen and does happen, which is why I enjoy playing my fed the way I do.
