For my LOW fed Major League Wrestling (MLW), I have general tentative plans for upcoming PPVs but they are constantly changing based on dice results.
Right now, for example, I'm on the road to my Wrestlemania 3 PPV, but I'm not even sure which of my 3 brand champions George Hackenschmidt (who won my Royal Rumble) will be challenging at Wrestlemania 3 because I have to wait for the results of my No Way Out PPV next weekend.

I book ahead by a couple of cards. I have always done that in LOW/GWF.

Wow! 30 Cards away?
I book on the day of the event! ;D
Yeah… I know! But I do this for a reason. Mainly I don’t know who my champs will be! I don’t really run a storyline driven fed, I run an event/match driven fed! I believe that the wrestlers should speak for them selves (which is weird because Mutant, Vanity and Executioner were some of my heavyweight champions), and storylines can come later. That is unless there is a super intense feud going on. And even in that case, I still book on the event date.

30 cards ahead isn't an everyday occurrence for me but when the fate of an entire federation hangs in the balance, it pays to have one's ducks in a row ASAP. I normally don't book more a card in advance, but with notes on where I want things to go for a few cards beyond that.

I usually only book up to my next PPV event. like 3-4 house shows. I figure it doesn't pay to schedule beyond a PPV until you know what happened then. After all, you try and build a storyline up to the PPV, should try to finish one chapter before starting a new one!?

I like a good mix. Some things I'll book down to the letter months in advance, while others I'll book on the fly. It really depends on my mood and the characters involved.
