I'm 3 cards into this thing and I'm really loving it. The schedule gives me 6-7 matches per card. I fill it out with a simple chart I made to determine the rest of the matches: I roll 2D6: 2-4 Title Shot (against someone not currently on this roster. I think of it like Kerry Von Erich facing Flair for the title in Hawaii or something like that) 5-8 a singles match 10-12 a tag match. The loser of the single or tag matches goes to the back of my entire stack of wrestlers. The winners stay at the front and will probably get another "tryout" match on the next card. If they're still at the front when new people are added to the roster, then they're first up.

I use this system to run my EVOLVE fed (I call it the Natural Selection System). It works really well. I'm thinking of using it for my Beyond Wrestling shows as well. The Singles division is for the EVOLVE title, the Tag Team division is for the Tag Team titles, and the "Women's division" is what I use for the Freedom title (formerly the Open the Freedom Gate title). The only thing I changed is that wrestlers who would normally be dropped can compete against a newcomer for those open Qualifying spots, even for the other divisions.

I'm trying to run this but I feel like I missing something with the Challenge Bracket. After 4 weeks the top two wrestlers in that bracket move up to the Contender's Bracket and the worst is removed from the roster. That leaves one wrestler in the bracket. One wrestler comes down from the Contender's Bracket and one comes up from the Qualifying Bracket. That makes three. Where is the other guy supposed to come from? Thanks for any tips.

I noticed that too. Simply adding another qualifying match works. Or I designated a few big stars that weren't on the roster as automatic challengers (their work history qualified them)and would add them.

Thanks! I think what I'll end up doing is having a 4-way match for the new qualifiers on week 4. Whoever wins the 4-way will jump to the contender's bracket.

I did a fourth bracket with three wrestlers just for that reason. They had a three week, round robin tournament, with the winner taking the empty spot

Wow! I hadn't seen that schedule system before! If I had a fed like that, I could toss in all the official cards I bought (including the special editions for Rush, Kill Prey, and Endgame), the aCe editions I won awhile back, the bootlegs I've made ( celebs, WAR guys, HIPS babes, my old LoW boots, The Thing set, SAW guys, Anarchangel set, etc), Daniel Betts' cards, and Justin Case's stuff (too numerous to link), the bootlegs on this Board ( Kaz's new stuff, Poke's Divas, the old WWWF and WWF sets, etc), and the Deuce set from Todd Holland's "The Deuce" Board! Now THAT'S a lot of cards! (I will do a rough estimate and post it on this Board sometime...) The only thing bad about the scheduling system is that it isn't very realistic. You don't have wrestlers only come into a fed for four fight cards and leave, with that being the norm. It would be fun to play this thru though, with the entire CotG/LoW wrestling universe at your fingertips! Todd C WTIC

I have a great system for it because i do multiple feds in both my Legends and my Indy projects. So, for example i use every ROH card to cycle through the changes for ROH, same for EVOlVE. So its a fairly big deal when someone signs with the other.. it works great. Pm me if youd like to see my spreadsheets and stuff.

And if you don't enjoy the one and done or 4 and done (i love it), then just cycle that guy right back into a qualifying match. Because, you know...
