I like the Starting The Match chart. I own the Gary Cappetta card but only use it on a roll of doubles, so I may use your chart in between.
I'm happy with the fact that wrestlers with a strong level 2 offence have an advantage and I emphasise this with my own rule...
When you have a chart move with a "(c)" after it, you can choose to use the charts or drop a level, right? Well, I roll one die and if I get the wrestler's pin position number, I use the chart; if not, down one level. Therefore a wrestler is more likely to drop a level plus the charts are used sparingly, which is what I want.

I like that chart move rule. I often just wing it. But that's a really slick little rule for when to use a chart or not. I'll definitely give it a try.
Thanks markyhitch!

Also...
Yeah, the Starting the Match chart is handy. Make sure to move down a level for every qualifier the wrestlers don't meet. The reason this is important is that it gives the strong, heavy and better wrestlers an advantage.

Personally for me I find that tag matches tend to take forever. But they have cut down since I made them 2 pin saves or outside interferances in total. Mind you I do find that Managers really help to prolong matches which is why I don't allow them at ringside during tournament matches.

Managers aren't huge factor in play for me. They get an attempt to distract and one interference per match. Mainly, they just soak up DQs for me. Tag matches do take longer for me too. Even with the faster system. In the system I'm using now, the tag teams only get 2, 3 or 4 chances to interfere, make a defensive tag, make an offensive tag or do a pin save total. That cuts things down a bit. I'll say I'm not thrilled about how defensive tags are set up in this system. I may make an amendment soon as I try new things for the Tag tournament I have coming up. I'd also like to work up a way to get the Tag Mayhem chart into the picture. That's one of my favorite charts.
