Hosted by Bill Apter and Red Bastien
Today: The ladies champion Penny Banner is here. Also appearing in tag team action, The London Underground: Adrian Street and Nigel McGuinness. The wildman from Syria, The Sheik! And The Eighth Wonder Of The World, Andre The Giant!
Let’s go to the ring!
Match #1: NON-TITLE MATCH
Penny Banner (Ladies Champion) vs. April Hunter – DRAW (10:00)
The time limit expires as both women brawl outside the ring. Officials have to step in to separate them. No doubt these two will meet again somewhere.
Match #2: The London Underground (Adrian Street & Nigel McGuinness) w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink def. Jay and Mark Briscoe - DQ (12:12)
This one turns into a wild brawl outside the ring as the relatively unknown brother team goes toe-to-toe with their opponents.
Mark Briscoe is disqualified for throwing Nigel McGuinness into the steel railing and continuing to punish him despite the referee’s warnings. Briscoe shoves the referee aside to continue the beating.
After order is restored, Red Bastien talks to the Briscoes at ringside.
The brothers say they may be young and inexperienced but no one is going to push them around. If Street and McGuinness want some more, all they have to do is sign on the dotted line! And that goes for any team in the IWLF!
Match #3: Soul Train Jones def. The Sheik – DQ (5:45)
The wildman from Syria continually throws Jones from the ring and goes outside to punish him despite repeated warnings from the referee. Sheik is disqualified for smashing Jones into ring post and choking him with the camera cables, refusing to let go until Bobo Brazil and S.D. Jones run down to make the save.
Match #4: Andre The Giant def. Johnny Rodz (2:48)
Andre has some fun toying with Rodz before crushing him with the BIG SPLASH for the pin.
Red Bastien interviews Andre who says he is looking for someone more his size. Bastien says there will be plenty of challengers lining up in the weeks to come as the show comes to a close.

IWLF TV (WEEK 3)
Hosted by Bill Apter and Red Bastien
The show opens with the announcers saying that S.D. Jones has demanded a match this week against The Sheik. The closing moments from last week’s match between Sheik and S.D.’s cousin Soul Train Jones are replayed. S.D. will try and gain a measure of revenge this week.
Also, the tag team champions The Mongols are here; Mr. Fuji makes his IWLF debut, taking on another newcomer, Cousin Luke; a Futures eXtreme match with some up and coming stars and The Masked Superstar is Bill Apter’s guest in the HOT SEAT.
Let’s get things started!
Match #1: Futures eXtreme Division
Ricky Landell def. Necro Butcher (9:24)
Landell has the early advantage until Necro Butcher reverses things with a low blow. But Ricky has some tricks up his sleeve too as he cheap shots Necro Butcher with a punch to the face from the outside as the referee is trying to stop Butcher from going to the floor. Landell maintains control and is eventually able to hit the FISHERMAN’S BUSTER for the win.
Match #2: NON-TITLE MATCH
The Mongols (Tag Team Champions) w/ Wild Red Berry def. Savage-T & Mister X (7:04)
The tag champs barely break a sweat in this one. Mister X is pinned following a MONGOLIAN DROP.
After the match, Red Bastien interviews Red Berry and his team. Berry claims that no one can stop his champions.
BILL APTER’S HOT SEAT with guest The Masked Superstar
Masked Superstar talks about how his COBRA HOLD is unbreakable and says he will offer anyone $1,000 if they let him apply it in the middle of the ring and are able to escape. Superstar says no one in the IWLF has the guts to take the challenge.
Superstar continues his boasting when suddenly the crowd erupts as “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant comes out to challenge him!
Superstar agrees and both wrestlers enter the ring.
Valiant sits on a chair and after a bit of stalling Superstar clamps on the hold!
Valiant flails and struggles desperately to maintain consciousness and to escape as the masked man continues to apply the pressure.
Just as it looks like Valiant is fading, he manages to smash Superstar into the turnbuckle. And again. And again! Superstar looks like he’s been dazed and losing his grip!
Valiant continues this tactic until it looks like he will escape any second now!
Suddenly, Masked Superstar releases the hold, spins Valiant around and delivers a wicked clothesline!
He throws Boogie Woogie Man from the ring and follows him out where he picks Jimmy up and delivers his deadly SPINNING NECKBREAKER on the concrete floor!
Superstar picks him up and delivers ANOTHER neckbreaker!
Jimmy is unconscious as the masked man picks him up for what appears to be a THIRD neckbreaker when the locker room empties to put a stop to the carnage.
When the show returns from commercial, Valiant has a neck brace on and is being loaded via stretcher into an ambulance as the stunned crowd watches on.
Match #3: Cousin Luke def. Mr. Fuji – DQ (7:42)
Luke has the advantage so Fuji uses some salt to try and even the odds but unfortunately he is caught by the referee who disqualifies him.
Fuji continues to punish the blinded Cousin Luke until Hillbilly Jim runs in to make the save!
Match #4: The Sheik w/ The Grand Wizard def. S.D. Jones (7:12)
This is a wild one that starts with Sheik attacking Jones before the bell and smashing him into the steel post. From there the match is mostly fought outside the ring with each man holding his own and delivering back and forth punishment. Sheik manages to get out his object and cut up Jones but S.D. will not back down. As the action spills to the floor yet again, Sheik is able to smash S.D. back-first into the steel guard rail. Jones’s back is injured and when Sheik manages to clamp on the CAMEL CLUTCH this one is over.
Sheik and the Wizard flee to the locker room as Bobo Brazil comes out to make sure there is no post-match funny business.
Next week: Bobo Brazil faces Johnny Rodz in the feature match and much more!
