RICKRUDE w/ SOCAL VAL defeated STEVE CORINO, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI and CHRIS BENOIT

"A wild match to begin the night, coming into this match due to injuries suffered on Card #59 and due to teaming with Cris Hero in Hartland's ongoing Tag Team Invitational Claudio Castagnoli was not at 100% to say the least.

However he came in a house a fire and went right after Rude..these two battled in and out of ring at one point Double C delivered a RICCOLA BOMB to Rude right out on the concrete floor to the dislike of Val who was at ringside.

Chris Benoit got into the mix with thunderous knife edge chops to both Rude abd Corino..however Corino caught Benoit with a vicious super kick which led right into the Rude Awakening!

Rude then rolled up Corino from behind for the victory!

SUDDENLY THE CROWD ERUPTS
AS...

LARRY SWEENEY AND LITA
MAKE THEIR WAY THREW THE CROWD AND TAKE A SEAT IN THE FRONT ROW!

TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

(C) THE BRITISH BULLDOGS defeated RVD/SABU

"An absolute classic match that proves that TRADITION is the top promotion for tag team wrestling..back and fourth action which saw a lightning quick exchange of kicks and stiff punches by the Dynamite Kid and RVD...SABU then delivered a sling shot leg drop to DK but could keep him down for the three count...Davey Boy got busted open thanks to getting run into the steel post by Van Dam followed by a quick kick to the face...the Extreme duo thought they had the match won after rolling thunder..but Dynamite Kid kicked out..and thanks to a vicious German Suplex dropping SABU on the back of his head Davey Boy got the pin and victory to keep the titles!"

*AFTER THE MATCH AS THE BULLDOGS WHERE CELEBRATING THEIR VICTORY A CAMERA MAN WAS TOLD TO RUN OUT TO THE PARKING LOT AS WE SEE THE AMERICAN WOLVES DESTROYING THE HART DYNASTY!...

DAVEY RICHARDS HAD A BLOODY DAVID HART SMITH IN A VICIOUS ARM LOCK AND EDDIE EDWARDS DELIVERED A SUPER KICK FOLLOWED BY A GERMAN SUPLEX TO TYSON KIDD ON THE HOOD OF A CAR!

*BEFORE THE MATCH AS HERO WAS MAKING HIS WAY DOWN TO THE RING HE STOPPED AND SAW LARRY SWEENEY WHO REACHED OUT HIS HAND TO THE TRADITION CHAMPION..WHO AFTER A FEW MOMENTS REFUSED TO SHAKE IT!*

"Hero just getting back from the Heartland tag team invitational took it right to Pearce at the beginning of the match with high impact moves including a roaring elbow...Pearce however fought back with several forearms and a vicious sling shot off the ropes taking control of the match.

Pearce suddenly gave a little smirk to Sweeney in the front row..as he continued to take down Hero...Pearce came within inches of taking the title after a pile driver but Hero some how kicked out..when suddenly the new number one contender for the TRADITION Championship Rick Rude and SoCal Val made thier way down to ringside ...Pearce still in control looked down and mocked Hero as he told him to look around and that he was surrounded and no one can help him!

Hero then caught Pearce with a low blow followed by a huge boot to the face and dropped Pearce with a vicious clothesline off the ropes...followed by his HERO'S WELCOME to get the victory!"

*AFTER THE MATCH...RUDE GOT INTO THE RING AND HELPED PEARCE TO HIS FEET AND BOTH WERE GOING TO ATTACK HERO WHEN...RUDE SUDDENLY TURNED ON PEARCE AND GAVE HIM THE RUDE AWAKENING!

RUDE THEN SMASHED HIM IN THE FACE WITH A STEEL CHAIR...HERO STILL RECOVERING DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO MAKE OF WHAT HAD JUST TRANSPIRED WHEN RUDE SET THE CHAIR UP AND GAVE A RUDE AWAKENING ON THE STEEL CHAIR TO HERO!!!...PEARCE WAS OUT COLD AND A BLOODY MESS OUTSIDE THE RING..AS...*

"I tell you it is good to be back where I belong right inside a TRADITION ring, I will tell you people it twas a lot easier then what I thought it was going to be..I love it when a plan comes together...so let me clue you drunk idiots in.

I just loved the looks on all your faces...when I walked into the building with the one and only Ravishing Rick Rude....I know all you people know that myself and Rick have a lot of history...let me spell it out for you all..despite rumors and dirt sheets...of us going our separate ways...well let me be perfectly clear WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOGETHER...you are all so gullable it is so pathetic.

Larry Sweeney what did I tell you baby...strike when the iron is hot and we sure did...we shocked the wrestling world...now I know you have plans of your own but ANYTIME you want to do business again my friend I am just a phone call away

That brings me to a few close personal friends of mine, ANOTHER NAUGHTY THREESOME...I have missed you Angelina and Traci....I must say however you two have really seemed to drop the ball since I have been gone...but fear not your savior is back to save you...Angelina you have seemed to have broken cardinal rule number 1 sweetie, NEVER make it personal...well from what I see you and the Hart Dynasty have made it that way...very disappointing...and where has poor Traci Brooks gone have not seen her in a long time..I hope she is ok.

"A blood bath as these two brawled all over the building...Corino not once but twice smashed a glass beer bottle over the head of Rude...who returned the favor by delivering a Rude Awakening on Corino threw a table...Rude followed that with slamming the King of Old School head first several times into the steel post...Corino almost out on his feet delivered a low blow to Rude followed by a wicked chair shot to his head and OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION to get a three count much to the dismay of Val who shrieked in the corner!"

CHRIS BENOIT and DAVEY RICHARDS battled to a 20 minute time limit

"A pure wrestling classic between these two, with very similar styles..back and fourth they went ....Benoit went for broke and missed a diving head butt from the top rope but Richards could not capitalize...and Benoit once again got the upper hand and had the American Wolf looked in his cross face submission...Davey however showed his grit by NOT tapping out as the bell rang as the referee signified the time limit expired."

*AFTER THE MATCH BOTH MEN EXHAUSTED GOT A STANDING OVATION FROM THE CROWD AS THEY STOOD NOSE TO NOSE WITH EACH OTHER*

SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH
MISAWA defeated BISON SMITH
"The former Tradition Tag Team Champion partners and rivals that have battled each other all over the world...add to their legacy in a TRADITION ring.

A great so of respect as they shook hands before the opening bell...these two as you can imagine went at each other with no remorse...both men bloodied and battered...which saw Misawa survive the brute force of Smith which included his Bicentenial finisher...Misawa not only survived but got the victory after a Tiger Bomb "85 for the three count!"

TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
INSIDE A STEEL CAGE

(C) BRITISH BULLDOGS defeated SABU/ROB VAN DAM

"An unbelievable tag team match between these two rival teams...the opening of the match saw Dynamite Kid and Rob Van Dam have a breath taking opening exchange of stiff strikes with both hands and feet...Davey Boy caught Sabu off the ropes and drove him head first into the cage!

RVD connected with a Van Daminator off the top rope square in the face of Smith as Dynamite got by an Arabian Face Buster by Sabu....RVD went to the top of the cage and delivered a picture perfect 5 star frog splash only for DK to somehow kick out before the 3 count!

RVD returned the favor after getting power slammed by Davey Boy...DK delivered a head butt off the top of the cage but the whole F'n show was able to get out of the pin attempt

RVD and SABU got back on the offense and looked as though they had the titles won with rolling thunder when RVD suddeny knocked SABU out cold with a stiff kick to the head...then he dragged SABU to the cage door opened it put Sabu's head out of the door and slammed it shut on his partners neck and head!

EMT'S rushed to ringside as the Bulldogs stood in shock and DK eventually made the pin..but screamed for medical attention for his opponent who was coughing up a tremendous amount of blood..as he clutched his neck"

ROB VAN DAM WALKED OUT OF THE CAGE AND HEADED DOWN THE ISLE TO THE DISPLEASURE OF THE CROWD....RVD FLIPPED EVERYONE OFF AS HE WAS MET IN THE ISLE WAY BY......

"A standing ovation from both the crowd and wrestlers to MISAWA who is in the final 4 of the FLW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT.
This match went back and fourth...Claudio Castagnoli was a stand out in this match as he came back from injury...Bison Smith caught Chris Hero with a devastating knee to the face...Claudio went toe to toe with Bison all throughout the contest. In the end however it was Misawa thanks to a Tiger driver '85 that pinned the TRADITION champion Chris Hero for the victory!"

6 MAN TAG TEAM CHALLENGE MATCH

KURT ANGLE/AMERICAN WOLVES defeated HART DYNASTY/CHRIS BENOIT

"The crowd erupted as KURT ANGLE returned to a TRADITION ring and gave him a standing ovation.

An outstanding match that nearly went over 20 minutes...Benoit and Angle went at each other with tremendous chain wrestling throughout..Eddie Edwards stood out in the match with tremendous high risk offense..which included a thunderous elbow drop from the top rope on D.H. Smith...Davey Richards and Tyson Kidd had a great offense exchange of kicks and stiff punches..in the end it was Angle thanks to his Angle lock on Benoit ..who did not quit but passed out do to the pain"

ROB VAN DAM W/ LARRY SWEENEY & LITA defeated DYNAMITE KID

"With still no explanation from Rob Van Dam on why he has joined with Larry Sweeney and Lita, the crowd was very hostile to the whole F'n Show to say the least...great contest between these two back and forth action at one point DK connected with a tombstone pile driver from the second rope..but could not get the victory...RVD thought he had the match won after a devastating Van Daminator but could not keep 1/2 of the tag champions down...it took Dynamite Kid missing a smash in the corner hitting the steel post and not 1 but 2 consecutive 5 star frog splashes for RVD to finally get the three count and victory!"

*AFTER THE MATCH RVD CONTINUED TO GET HECKLED BY THE CROWD AND HE RESPONDED ONCE AGAIN BY FLIPPING THEM OFF AS HE LEFT*

FLW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT MATCH
DUSTY RHODES defeated HARLEY RACE

"A controversial match from the outset as Dusty Rhodes who represents HEARTLAND in the tournament was accompanied to ringside by his partner in Heartland Stan Hanson!

Dusty grabbed the microphone and explained how he and Race have been up and down the roads before (if you will) and he knows Race and his win by any means mentality so to make sure that things go right down the middle and no shenanigans occur Stan Hanson has got my back Jack!

The bell rang to begin the match...and these two legends went at it to the nail..Race actually had control for most of the opening moments of this match and really knocked big Dust around thanks tot some vicious forearms and elbows...he actually connected with his pile driver but Rhodes kicked out and slowly built momentum from that point with elbows and stiff right hands and a drop kick!

Race had a bloody nose about half way through the match when thanks to a vicious knee to the face set up another pile driver on Rhodes who kicked out once again but was holding his neck in pain...Race then delivered a power slam and thought he had the three count thanks to having his feet on the ropes..but Hanson knocked them off from the outside!

Race was furious..and got in the face of Hanson who looked up at him from outside the ring...Rhodes recovered and turned Race around and delivered FLIP FLOP FLY then rolled him up for the 3 count and victory!!!!"

*AFTER THE MATCH, RACE WAS FURIOUS AND THEIR WAS SOME DEBATE AS TO IF RHODES PULLED RACE'S TIGHTS WHEN HE ROLLED HIM UP FOR THE PIN!....RACE STORMED OUT OF THE BUILDING AS RHODES STOOD VICTORIOUS WITH STAN HANSON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING*

"An all out blood bath....back and fourth these two went Smith really used his pure physical power to is advantage...really busting up Corino on the inside with devastating moves to the point that Corino was coughing up blood!

The referee would not be allowed to stop the match via Corino who fought back with a super kick followed by a victory plex and a steel chair shot right to the head which the referee allowed..both men bleeding Bison suddenly snapped as he ripped the arm of Corino right out of socket then followed up with his BISONCENTENAL Finsher for the victory."

"Tremendous opening fall between these two teams who have built up quite the rivalry over the past several weeks...Edwards and Kidd had an outstanding offensive opening display that Edwards got the better of thanks to enzugiri to the back of the head..followed by Richards connecting with a Saito suplex..Eddie tagged in and went for a dive threw the ropes and went head and neck first into the guard rail...as soon as he landed on the concrete he grabbed his neck in pain.

EMT'S rushed out to check on him..in the mean time the match was still going on in the ring where Davey was double teamed unmercifully by the Dynasty and despite Davey's best efforts..The Dynasty put him away with the Hart Attack to take the first fall.

The referee was in a conflict to continue the match due to seemingly the severe injury to Edwards..after a few moments still being checked by EMT"S Edwards screamed to the ref to continue the match...Davey then went on the attack nailing DH SMITH with a spin kick followed by a shooting star press to almost get the victory..Tyson came in to break the count then delivered a spin kick almost taking Richards head off for the three count!"

"Great opening contest, despite a lot of questions involving Chris Benoit and a appreant attack on Kurt Angle after "GIVING THANKS"..Edwards has been dealing with injuries of his own..and came into the match not at 100%..but fought well and pushed Benoit to the limit several times...but Benoit got the hard earned victory thanks to his diving head butt off the top rope for the 3 count!"

"With out any hesitation as soon as RVD got into the cage SABU attacked with a offensive flurry...RVD could not get anything going on the offense for quite some time..SABU even busted open RVD...it became very clear that SABU did not want to win the match...only to seriously injure his former friend.

A bloody RVD fought back as Sweeney and LITA encouraged him from ringside..Van Dam caught Sabu coming off the ropes with a spinning heel kick and followed up coming off the ropes with rolling thunder!

As RVD was trying to climb the cage to escape SABU caught him threw him down and RVD landed right on the back of his neck..SABU the connected with a Arabian Face Buster from the top of the cage!

Both men got to their feet at the same time, and suddenly looked at each other smiling..suddenly RVD fell to the mat and SABU covered him for the three count!"
