Bout #1: April Hunter vs. Angelina Love - April dominated the smaller Love and pretty much had her way with her as April used her Head Hunter to win at 6:40.
Bout #2: Allison Danger vs. Daziee Haze - A great bout here, as both women played to their strengths. Danger used her power and size advantage, while Haze used her speed and agility. Good chances of pace and momentum switches, kept the fans glue on the action in the ring. Danger scored the win at 12:07 with a Tornado DDT.
Bout #3: GI Ho vs. Heather Devine - Two women trying to make a good impression here, as they debut for both Shimmering Star and CCW. This was an intense battle, as both women battled in and out of the ring. This action spilled to the floor quickly and it was all over the arena. Ho scored the win at 15:11 with her Topless Top Rope Leg Drop.
Bout #4: Amber O'Neal vs. Charley Boy - Charley Boy was more than happy to sign on against Amber here in this bout of Beauty and the Beast. Amber knew that Charley would out-power her, so she used every chance that she could to cheat and take any shortcuts. A good game plan by Amber, allowed her to score the win at 14:27 with a roll-up after a choke with the the ropes.
Bout #5: 2/3 Falls - 30 minute time limit Candie vs. Cheerleader Melissa - Candie and Melissa started pounding on each other from the opening bell. Candie was able to avoid a few big moves by Melissa and score the first fall at 7:18 with the Candie Rock Bottom. - Melissa started right back up and started beating Candie around the ring, but could not score the pinfall. Melissa kept pushing the offense, but Candie proved much harder to pin than she expected. Melissa took the action to the floor and this is where Melissa battered Candie enough to set up the Air Raid Crash to take the second fall at 21:02. - These two women battles tooth and nail all the way to the 30 minute mark for the time limit draw. This is not the last time we will see these two hook up.
Bout #6: Kelly Kelly vs. Nattie Neidhart - Nattie survived the early offense of Kelly and just brutally beat her. Nattie used her Nattie By Nature to take the win at 3:39.
Main Event Bout #7: 3-Way Dance - Shimmering Star Title Match Sara del Rey vs. Nikki Roxx vs. Lufisto (c) - Sara and Nikki went right at Lufisto and they brutalized her. Lufisto was dropped on her head by Roxx and then Sara used the Royal Butterfly to eliminate Lufisto at 1:16. This means that we will have a new champion here. - Roxx and Sara both want the gold and you can see as these two pounded each other, that they each have a game plan to achieve that goal. Back and forth action, with both women getting the advantage, only to relinquish it to their opponent. Sara nailed Roxx with a DDT on the floor and then used the Royal Butterfly to win and take the gold at 10:04.

Due to weather issues on 8/18/08, the CCW had to cancel their show: International Flair. It was re-scheduled for Friday 8/22/08. The CCW offered the fans who had tickets to the show 4 options: - They could use those tickets on 8/22 for the show by trading them in for the same seat at the show.
- They could trade in their ticket for a ticket at a different up-coming show.
- They could have a full refund.
- They could come to the BBQ Brawl before the show on 8/22/08, where their will be autographs, hot dogs, hamburgers, refreshments, and a 5 match card.
The CCW apologizes for the inconvenience and hopes that they solutions will remedy the situation.

[glow=yellow,2,300]Cove Championship Wrestling[/glow] 8/22/08 - Afternoon Show {Outside}
BBQ Brawl!
*The fans who showed up were treated to a great BBQ of hamburgers, hot dogs, and refreshments. Everyone got to eat and got free autographs from some of the superstars of CCW. After the autographs, the show was about to get started, when Team 3-D came out and took a seat in the crowd with a few plates of BBQ and some "adult beverages". The show started.
Bout #1: Arik Cannon vs. Mike Quackenbush - This was a great match, as both men traded some great wrestling holds, in an outstanding opener. Both men scored several close pins, but as both traded blows, the bell rang. It was a 20 minute draw, as the crowd erupted. Team 3-D, who was talking through out the bout, started jawing at the fans who were standing and applauding the great match.
*Before the second bout, during the introductions, Bubba Ray announced that he had to use the bathroom and that this was the best time, because it was the "chick match" and "unless they are getting naked, I ain't stayin'!" {The fans booed him, as they know what the athletes of Shimmering Star bring to the ring.}
Bout #2: Amber O'Neal vs. Allison Danger - These two Shimmering Star athletes hooked up in the second bout, as the crowd was still abuzz from the first bout. An awesome bout, that saw Amber take the advantage early, only to have Allison battle back and take over the match. Amber scored with her STO and scored the pinfall with a handful of tights at 13:58.
Bout #3: Bret Major vs. Bam Bam Bigelow - Bigelow was a big surprise for these fans, both at the autograph table and in the ring, as he was never advertised for the event. Bret never stood a chance, as Bam Bam won at 2:47 with his Top Rope Headbutt. Team 3-D, who were busy slugging back some cold ones, applauded Bam Bam, who shook hands with them.
Bout #4: No DQ Hardcore Match Drake Younger vs. Delirious - Two clashing styles here, as the hardcore Younger clashed with the insane, but intense wrestler Delirious. Younger tried to use anything that was not nailed down to destroy Delirious. Younger eat one of his own light-tubes, when Delirious dropkicked it into him. Back and forth carnage, both hardcore, garbage style (chairs, light-tubes, etc) and hardcore wrestling (20 clotheslines in the corner, hard chops, etc); as both men laid it all on the line. In the end, Drake smashed Delirious with two light tubes, then nailed the Drake's Landing to win at 14:16.
*Bubba Ray stood up after making fun of the last bout and said this was a waste of time, to the crowd. You all could have just gotten your money back from the CCW, because this sucks. The fans, growing more irate, started screaming at Team 3-D. Security came out, and Team 3-D got in the ring and started running down the fans and the CCW. From the entrance curtain {remember, this is held outside}, Ted DiBiase, Jr comes out. He starts verbally attacking Team 3-D about why they are "dumping" on the show and the fans. Bubba started blasting Ted and running down his father and grandfather. This drew insane heat from the crowd. Ted: If you are so much better, why don't you put those tag belts on the line. Bubba: Against who? You and who else? There ain't nobody in the back who would step to us. Ted: I have a partner, do you have the guts to put the belts on the line, or did you just come here to eat like a pig! Bubba: What did you say, you >BEEP<! Get your >BEEP<ing partner. *Shelley Martinez (Selinas) walks out of the back. Her and Ted walk to the ring. Bubba: That's your partner?!? We already beaten everyone that she manages, so this will be easy! Ted: I have a partner who knows you oh too well. *Shelley, who is wearing a tattered shirt, grabs the collar and tears it off; revealing a bikini top with Franchise logos on each breast. "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple hits, as the fans go crazy! Shane Douglas races to the ring and we are on!
Bout #5: CCW Tag Titles Match Ted DiBiase, Jr & Shane Douglas w/ Shelley Martinez vs. Team 3-D (c) - Team 3-D, after a hot afternoon eating hot dogs and burgers, drinking quite a few brews, and heckling everyone; looked out of it in the ring. Ted and Shane worked like a well oiled machine and took apart both men. Ted caught Bubba with the Dream Crusher and Shane finished him off with the Belly-to-Belly suplex to win the gold at 8:45, as the fans stood and cheered through out the match. Team 3-D beat a hasty retreat, as the new champs mugged for the crowd.
Bout #6: Main Event Nigel McGuinness vs. Edge - Nigel and Edge came out for the main event, with the crowd still buzzing about the tag match. They each blistered the other's chest with hard chops and strikes, but Nigel's high impact clotheslines turned the bout in his favor. Nigel used the Divorce Court to take the win at 9:15.
*The fans all left very happy and full, with autographs, great photos, and amazing stories. Cell phones were buzzing with calls and texts about the outstanding BBQ Brawl!

[glow=yellow,2,300]Cove Championship Wrestling[/glow] 8/22/2008 - Night Show
Bout #1: Genki Horiguchi vs. Matt Hardy - A good opener, as both men went straight at each other and start trading fists and fire. Genki went low and gained the advantage. Genki used his Beach Break to take the win at 5:19.
Bout #2: JD Michaels vs. CIMA - Another international bout here, as CIMA takes on April Hunter's husband. Michaels started to blister the chest of CIMA with some harsh chops. CIMA answered back with some hard shots of his own and the war began. Michaels answered back with some awesome offense, but CIMA refused to be pinned. CIMA started screaming and got all fired up and reversed the tide again. CIMA nailed the Schwein on JD, but JD rolled out of the ring and was counted out at 7:02.
Bout #3: Nigel McGuinness vs. Ryo Saito - As Nigel was walking out to the ring, when Drake Younger came out of nowhere and nailed Nigel with a light tube. Drake took a barbed wire axe-handle and raked it across the face of Nigel. Drake then beat a hasty retreat. Nigel, a bloody mess, was a pile on the ramp. Ryo raced up the ramp and dragged Nigel to the ring. He told the ref to start the match. Uncomfortable with this, the ref begrudgingly called for the bout to start. Ryo nailed some hard kicks and chops. He then used 3 Dragon Suplex Holds to win at 3:19.
Bout #4: April Hunter vs. Kelly Kelly - April started hammering Kelly from the start, but Kelly has come a long way in a short time. Kelly made a nice comeback and got off some great offense and had April reeling. Kelly started to get more confident and playing to the crowd. April went over into a sunset flip on Kelly and scored the pinfall at 8:39.
Bout #5: Dragon Kid vs. BxB Hulk - These two Japanese stars came in on fire and kept up the pace throughout this awesome bout. Back and forth action had the fans in a whirlwind and at a fever pitch. As they went into the end of the bout and all the close 2 counts, the fans kept exploding for each man. Hulk used his E.V.O. to win at 26:17.
Bout #6: Shimmering Star Championship Match Lufisto vs. Sara del Ray (c) - Lufisto and del Ray hook up again her tonight for the championship. Sara came out and used her height to get early leverage on the former champion. Sara used some awesome suplexes, but was unable to score a pin. Lufisto kept sliding in and out of the ring to break up the flow. The ref kept keeping Sara back, as Lufisto frustrated the champion. As Sara was sitting back and Lufisto was outside drawing the ref's attention, Nikki Roxx raced to ringside and nailed Sara with a steel chair to the back of her head. Nikki dropped down and hid, as Lufisto came in and nailed the Emerald Fusion to take the win and the gold at 11:59. As Lufisto celebrated, Nikki came into the ring and nailed Sara again. Lusfisto turned her back on Nikki in celebration and was nailed by a solid chair shot by Nikki. This situation is getting crazier and crazier, as Nikki took the belt and held it up!
Bout #7: No DQ, No Countouts Super Dragon vs. Erick Stevens - This feud has grown in the past few weeks and comes to a head tonight, as each man looks to punish the other. They did not disappoint. Each man started blasting each other with steel chairs and use everything that was not nailed down to brutalize their opponent. Back and forth action raged, as the fans threw their support behind their favorite. Stevens nailed a TKO on the floor to win at 14:19.
Main Event: Bout #8: CCW TV Title Match Shingo vs. Austin Aries (c) - A ton of buzz about this international dream match has been growing since it was announced. Shingo looked great early, but Aries refused to be kept down. Aries turned the tide and scored several close falls, but Shingo won't stay down. Great back and forth action followed and the fans were all standing the entire bout. Aries locked on the Horns of Aries, but Shingo wouldn't tap. Aries, growing frustrated, spun around and fired off some knees to the back of Shingo's head and then locked on the Horns of Aries again for the win and retained the gold at 19:05.

8/29/08
Bout #1: Bryan Danielson vs. Phil Davis - A good showing for The American Dragon, but not much for Davis. Danielson looked great and won at 4:59 with his Cattle Mutilation.
Bout #2: Alison Danger vs. Daziee Haze - A great back and forth great Shimmering Star bout here, as both ladies are trying to get into the title hunt. Alison scored a close 2-count, but Haze escaped. Haze fired back and was able to score the win with her Heart Punch & Yakuza Kick to win at 8:19.
Bout #3: Nightmares of the Mat Championship Match - Cage The Great Muta vs. Kevin Sullivan (c) - This was a brutal cage match, as both men used the cage to grate each other's face up early. Muta scored with some hard kicks and strikes, but even though he hurt Sullivan, he could not score a pinfall. Sullivan took something out of his tights and nailed Muta in the throat. Sullivan scored the pinfall after his Sullivan Stomp at 7:46 to retain the gold.
Bout #4: Ricky Landell vs. Sean Davis - A surprise here, as Davis put up a great bout and took everything that Landell could dish out. Back and forth, both men traded blows as they pounded on each other. Sean nailed his Belly-to-Belly suplex and scored the pin at 19:26. It appeared on replays that Landell got his shoulder up, but Sean's body blocked out the ref's view.
Bout #5: #1 Contender for Shimmering Star Championship Nikki Roxx vs. Sara del Rey - A great bout, as these two stars of Shimmering Star battled back and forth. Sara scored with some heavy offense early, but still managed not to score the 3 count. Nikki battled back and score a few close 2 counts. Back and forth, as each woman laid it in the line, until Nikki won at 13:50 with her Q-Tee Special.
Bout #6: CCW TV Title Bout Chris Hero vs. Austin Aries (c) - This was another great bout, as each man blistered the other with hard chops and kicks. Hero and Aries traded suplexes and holds, but neither would give in. Finally the bell rang, as Aries was getting Hero ready for the Brainbuster. The time limit - 20 minutes - had expired, making this bout a draw.
Bout #7: Co-Main Event Satoshi Kojima vs. Rey Misterio, Jr - The fans love that CCW keeps bringing in international talent to make each show truly a special occasion. This is the first time that Misterio and Kojima have ever met and the fans had their cameras working overtime. Great back and forth action, as Misterio used his high flying moves to gain an early advantage. Kojima battled back and hurt Misterio with some great impact offense. Misterio made a big comeback and went for the West Coast Pop, but Kojima turned it into a powerbomb! Kojima used his Cozy Crazy Dynamite to win at 12:16 in this great international bout.
Bout #8: Co-Main Event Nigel McGuinness vs. Drake Younger - This match grew out of their run-in at the last show. Drake tried to take the fight to Nigel, but McGuinness showed that he was a superior wrestler. Drake tried to pull the bout down to the garbage matches that he favors, but Nigel was having none of that. Nigel hit the ropes and nailed his Rebound Lariat. He then nailed his Jawbreaker Lariat to take the win at 5:10 After the bout, all hell broke loose. Drake smashed Nigel with a pair of light tubes and was joined by Timber. The two of them started to pound the bloody Nigel. Delirious raced out of the back and made the save for Nigel. All four men battled until more men could hit the ring and separate this insane situation. This is far from over!
