Great show in Malaysia and that Road Warriors vs. Super Destroyers match sounded epic. I love when someone has a high pin and is still able to kick out. Nice to see one of my picks, Baba and Jonathan, doing well. Block B is shaping up for a real dramatic finish with everyone so close in points.

William Muldoon def. Danny Hodge

A very good technical match between these two. Hodge seemed to have the upperhand but Muldoon slowly started to turn the tide. Hodge took some heavy blows but fought hard before another toss put him down for the pin (Hodge 6 coins).

Frank Gotch def. Fritz Von Goering

[/center]

Mr. Fuji sent Von Goering after Gotch as a roadblock before getting to All-Asia champion the Iron Sheik. Gotch really dominated, but Von Goering showed a lot of toughness and fought hard. He went outside a lot but Gotch stayed on top. A second time with the Toe Hold finished off Von Goering (4 coins).

Johnny Valentine def. Terry Gordy

Another violent but short encounter between these two. It went back and forth at first but Valentine hit his skullcrusher twice and grabbed a three-count.

Steve Williams def. The Iron Sheik

[/center]

A huge win in a non-title match over the All-Asia champion. Dr. Death exploded with offense, but the Iron Sheik whethered the storm. The two spent time on the outside and the match went back and forth. Williams did eveything but use the Oklahoma Stampede. The Iron Sheik was on top for awhile but couldn't get the Camel Clutch applied. Williams scored the win with a powerbomb (Iron Sheik 4 coins).

Nick Bockwinkel def. Mil Mascaras

A big win for Nick Bockwinkel as he looks to secure an All-Asia title match at the end of the tour. He got the sleeper on and didn't let it go until Mascaras went down and out.

ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger def. The Crusaders

A good high-flying match here. The teams went back and forth before the Japanese duo took over. Robertson kicked out of the Fisherman Buster by Liger but not the Tiger Suplex of Tiger Mask.

Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson def. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka

[/center]

A huge upset win for Corino and Danielson. This match it was Danielson getting killed in and out of the ring by Brody and Snuka. Corino had some success facing off against both men. Corino broke things up after the superfly leap. Corino superkicked Brody and grabbed a three count out of nowhere. Brody and Snuka proceeded to decimate the King of Old School and the American Dragon after the match.

Rob Van Dam & Sabu def. The Sheik & The Turk by D.Q.

A very interesting match with Sabu squaring off against his uncle the Sheik. RVD and Sabu controlled the pace but a lot of the fight took place on the outside. The Sheik ended up taking most of the beating and later it was the Turk getting his team disqualified.

Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A.

A good match between four fan favorites. Bobo and Inoki faced off for awhile. Rikidozan put Magnum down over and over with the hiplock. Then Inoki nailed him with the enzuigiri for the win.

Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo def. The Enforcers

A long hard-fought match. Rocca and DiPaolo held the advantage most of the way. Greg Valentine was on the defensive while Larry Zbyszko carried the offense for their team. DiPaolo put the Hammer in the airplane spin and then a headlock takeover for the pine.

ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

The Sheepherders def. The Mongols

As expected, mostly a wild brawl here. Bepo and Bolo had things in hand but the Sheepherders took over. Both Mongols were double teamed but it was Bepo isolated and finally finished off by Luke Williams.

Super Destroyers def. Red Pepper

An easy win here as the Destroyer took care of everything himself. The figure four and bombs away on Pepper Gomez put him down for the three count.

The Vachons def. The Foreign Force

[/center]

Another quick match as Mad Dog Vachon put a hurting on Ivan Koloff in a hurry. The piledriver ended the match.

Jim Duggan & The Crusher def. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan

A great match will big repercussions for the tournament. First win and first loss for the respective teams. A very long contest that went back and forth. Duggan and Jonathan got tied up along the ropes and Hacksaw pulled out a pinning predicament for the win.

The Kangaroos def. The Road Warriors

Two former world tag team champions that know each other all too well. A great match that was toe to toe and dead even. Both teams were in good and bad shape as the match progressed. Roy Heffernan won the match by submission over the Animal.

Danny Hodge def. Mil Mascaras

A great opener tonight with a former world heavyweight and world Jr. heavyweight champions. Hodge really dominated the bout, but Mascaras had his offense. Hodge seriously put a hurting on the back of Mascaras, but fought off the high-flying of the Luchador. Hodge came out on top with the Oklahoma Roll.

William Muldoon def. Terry Gordy

Another great match with a contrast in styles. Gordy pummeled Muldoon the whole match but couldn't put him away. Muldoon whethered the storm on the outside and slowly wore Gordy down. A shoulder throw and Muldoon took an impressive victory.

Johnny Valentine def. Steve Williams

[/center]

An extremely hard-hitting contest. Dr. Death crushed Valentine real early with the Oklahoma Stampede. Valentine came back with his atomic skullcrusher. The two just hammered away on each other, but Valentine landed a big forearm smash and got the pin.

Fritz Von Goering & Hans Schmidt def. Nick Bockwinkel & Frank Gotch

An exciting and wild battle here as Mr. Fuji brings in Hans Schmidt to team with Von Goering, forcing Gotch and Bockwinkel to join forces. Bockwinkel put the figure four on Von Goering right away, and then Gotch cinched in the Toe Hold. Schmidt stormed in and attacked Gotch and sent Bockwinkel to the floor. Gotch was double teamed and then Schmidt hit him with the backbreaker to win the match. Schmidt continued to pound on Gotch while Von Goering held Bockwinkel out of the ring.

ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

The Kangaroos def. Red Pepper

Red Berry's team remains undefeated in the tournament with an unbelievably fast win. Heffernan leveled Gomez and then came the Boomerang and this match was over.

The Mongols def. Jim Duggan & The Crusher

These teams battled over the WWC North American tag team titles in Puerto Rico. Bepo and Bolo attacked Hacksaw and double teamed him with the steel chains to score a fast win, their first of the tournament.

The Foreign Force def. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan

[/center]

A great match as Fuji and Koloff turned in their best effort so far. Jonathan took a major beating but stayed alive. Baba tried to carry the team but eventually was put down and the bear hug by Koloff ended the match (Jonathan 5 coins, Baba 3 coins).

The Super Destroyers def. The Vachons

[/center]

Mad Dog and the Butcher didn't get a lot done in this one. The Destroyer got away and the Masked Superstar locked on the Cobra Hold to put away Butcher Vachon.

Road Warriors def. Sheepherders

[/center]

A wild brawl for a lot of the match. The Sheepherders were in control but not doing all that much damage. Hawk and Animal took over and blasted Luke and Butch all around the ring. After the Doomsday Device the save was made, but then a spike piledriver. Hawk finished off Luke with a huge clothesline.

BLOCK B
ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka def. The Crusaders

This was one whale of a match with Lyons and Robertson standing toe to toe with Brody and Snuka. It was a long match and a lot of fighting on the floor. Brody was in bad shape, then it was Robertson getting destroyed. Both teams constantly made tags and kept going all out for the win. Snuka finally beat Robertson with the splash off the top rope.

The Sheik & The Turk def. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson

This match was out of control from the start. Non-stop brawling all over the arena. Danielson was crushed, but Corino turned the match around. The Sheik took the Old School Expulsion three times in a row. All four went toe to toe. Another brawl resulted in the Sheik beating Danielson with the hammerlock (Sheik 8 coins).

Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. def. The Enforcers

Another epic match. Zbyszko and Valentine were killed by the headbutts of Bobo Brazil. The Enforcers had Magnum down and Zbyszko smashed him into the exposed turnbuckle. They couldn't finish him off and Brazil got the tag and finished off the Hammer for the win (Magnum 5 coins, Zbyszko 4 coins, Valentine 3 coins).

Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo def. Rob Van Dam & Sabu by D.Q.

DiPaolo started off fast and had Sabu in the airplane spin. Sabu hit the arabian facebuster and tagged RVD. Van Dam nailed the Van Terminator on Rocca and was disqualified.

Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger

Inoki and Rikidozan completely dominated this one, never letting Liger in the ring. Inoki got on a roll with multiple finishers on Tiger Mask. Liger tried to break it up but was sent to the floor and Inoki kicked Tiger Mask in the head again for the win.

A rematch from show number four of the tour. This was even better than that one. A lot of back and forth action. Gordy proved to be too much for the second time. After really wearing Mascaras down with the Oriental Spike it was a running crossbody out of nowhere that Gordy used to beat the Luchador (Mil 5 coins).

Johnny Valentine def. William Muldoon

Another rematch from the Indonesia show. Once again Muldoon showed more speed and great counter-wrestling. It was the power and aggressivness of Valentine that carried him to the win after several skullcrushers (Muldoon 4 coins).

Frank Gotch, Nick Bockwinkel & Steve Williams def. Iron Sheik, Hans Schmidt & Fritz Von Goering

Mr. Fuji's Foreign Force got handled pretty well in this one. Schmidt took a pounding and it was payback for the last show where he put a hurting on Gotch. Both teams got some tags but Gotch, Bockwinkel, and Dr. Death stayed in control. Gotch countered and put Schmidt down for the win.

BLOCK B
ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan def. The Crusaders

A quick win to remain in first place of Block B for the former world tag team champions. Inoki easily took charge against Lyons. After going for the submission, Rikidozan leveled him with chops. Dewey Robertson was unable to stop the pinfall.

The Enforcers def. Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger

[/center]

The cruiserweights struggled the whole match but never stopped fighting. Both Liger and Tiger Mask felt the piledriver and figure four of Zbyszko and Valentine. The Enforcers kept reasserting control and finally beat Liger with a piledriver (Liger/T.Mask 6 coins).

The Sheik & The Turk def. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka by D.Q.

As expected, a wild brawl between these four. Brody and Snuka really controlled the action in and out of the ring. Anybody could have caused the bell to ring but it was Brody disqualified to end the match.

Rob Van Dam & Sabu def. Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A.

The former ECW contingent dominated this one. Bobo and Magnum did little to slow down the attack. Bobo felt the Five Star Frog Splash and the Triple Jump Moonsault. Magnum tried to make the save but was cut off and Brazil went down.

Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo def. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson

Rocca and DiPaolo were in total control. Danielson couldn't get a tag and took everything big move his opponents have. Corino finally got in but he was immediately beaten with the Argentinian Backbreaker.

Jim Duggan & The Crusher def. The Foreign Force

The wildest and craziest match yet in the tournament. Duggan and the Crusher were complete bloody messes when it was over. Koloff and Fuji just killed both men the entire match. Somehow they couldn't end it though. The Crusher fought on with Duggan slumped in the corner to pull out the win with the Bolo on Fuji. Duggan and the Crusher couldn't do anything though when Hans Schmidt and Fritz Von Goering came into the ring to beat them down even more.

The Mongols def. The Road Warriors by D.Q.

An unbelievably wild street fight. It was Bepo and Geeto really taking the fight to the LOD. The Road Warriors were nearly overpowered but the two teams just went non-stop trying to hurt each other. In the end it was Hawk, Animal and Paul Ellering getting disqualified.

The Sheepherders def. Red Pepper

Bastien and Gomez did everything but win the match. They easily dominated the action but couldn't put the match away. Butch pushed Gomez off the top rope and Luke made the cover for the three count.

The Vachons def. The Kangaroos by D.Q.

A big result in determing the winner of Block A. The Roos were undefeated, but the bell rang due to interference from Heffernan and Red Berry after Costello had been piledrove twice by Mad Dog Vachon. The loss leaves the door open for Baba and Jonathan to take first place in the standings.

Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan def. Super Destroyers

Baba and Jonathan knew a win and they would have a chance in the final round to win Block A. Jonathan took over against Masked Superstar. Baba came in, dropped him with a back suplex, and the Neckbreaker Drop ended the match.

An incredible opener as Dr. Death came out and completely destroyed Valentine. Johnny did very little to slow down the freight train as Williams ran right over him. Valentine is so tough to beat though and he kept kicking out time after time, but he eventually could do it no longer (Valentine 7 coins).

Iron Sheik, Hans Schmidt & Fritz Von Goering def. Mil Mascaras, William Muldoon & Danny Hodge

The Foreign Force came back to take a win on the final show of round robin tag team matches. Schmidt and Von Goering pounded on Hodge, but Mascaras got things going. Muldoon was setup for the Iron Sheik. The All-Asia champ came in with the Camel Clutch to end the match.

2/3 Falls for No. 1 Contender Position

Nick Bockwinkel def. Frank Gotch, 2-1[/center]

The first ended out of nowhere. Bockwinkel was showing a slight power advantage and stayed in control on the mat. Gotch found an opening and immediately put the Toe Hold on and Bockwinkel gave it up.

Bockwinkel was able to take charge again in the second fall. Gotch was on the defensive and fought off a ton of submission and pinning predicaments. Bockwinkel went to the piledriver and figure four, along with the sleeper to even the match.

The final fall was back and forth. Gotch just couldn't maintain control and Bockwinkel took over. The Sleeper finished off Gotch. It will be the Nick Bockwinkel challenging the Iron Sheik for the All-Asia title at JWA Battle Formation.

BLOCK B
ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

The Sheik & The Turk def. The Crusaders

This was an awesome match, no doubt about it. The Crusaders stood toe to toe with the bigger, stronger and wilder men across from them. The Crusaders controlled most of the match. Neither team wanted to go down though. It took a fire ball from the Sheik late in the match on Robertson to bring this one to an end (Robertson 4 coins, Lyons 3 coins, Sheik 3 coins, Turk 5 coins).

Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. def. Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson

This match was even more incredible then the last one. An insane contest as all four wouldn't give up. It was ridiculous how many times all four men survived and kept on going. A headbutt by Bobo put away Corino (too many coins to count, I ran out of pennies)

Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger def. Rob Van Dam & Sabu

[/center]

Nothing but top rope moves and dives to the floor. All four just went all out to out-do the other. Liger and Tiger Mask worked together to put away Rob Van Dam.

Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo def. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka

A must-win and Rocca and DiPaolo pulled it off to still have a chance at winning Block B. It was a battle to the end. Brody and Snuka were really on fire but couldn't finish either opponent off. Rocca beat Snuka with the Argentinan Backbreaker.

The Enforcers def. Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan

A stunning finish and the loss kept Inoki & Rikidozan from winning Block B. Inoki missed off the top early in the match. Rikidozan came in when the Hammer put the figure four on Inoki. Then Zbyszko piledrove Inoki to win the match. That means Rocca and DiPaolo win Block B!

BLOCK A
ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

Red Pepper def. The Mongols by D.Q.

This one was short as the Mongols appeared not to care at all about the outcome. Red Bastien got the tag and then blasted with the chain by Bepo and the bell rang. That puts the Mongols in last place in Block A.

Road Warriors def. Jim Duggan & The Crusher

An epic brawl is what this one was. A very long, hard-fought match. The Legion of Doom dominated, but Duggan and the Crusher are too tough to go down easily. The fight just kept going. The Doomsday Device didn't end it as the Crusher broke it up. After more fighting on the floor Animal powerslammed Duggan for the pin.

The Foreign Force def. The Super Destroyers

A real quick match. Ivan Koloff overpowered the Destroyer and the bear hug finished him off in no time at all.

The Vachons def. The Sheepherders

[/center]

A pretty good back and forth contest. The Vachons took over though and Mad Dog's piledriver and Butcher's Hangman beat Butch Miller.

The Kangaroos def. Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan

The final match of the round robin tournament would decide the winner of Block A. A true classic match, one of the best tag team matches you will ever see. All four turned in one of their greatest performances. Each team had long periods of time in charge, but both also made tags, saves, and Red Berry had a hand in the match here and there. Baba broke up the pin on Jonathan, but the Boomerang then put Jonathan away.

Welcome to the final show on the Southeastern Asia Tour: Battle Formation! Get set for the championship match to determine the first ever All-Asia tag team champions, and the Iron Sheik defends the All-Asia heavyweight title against Nick Bockwinkel. The show will also showcase the tag team division as teams from Block A in the round robin tournament will go up against teams from Block B.

The Mongols def. The Crusaders

A very tough, back and forth fight. The smaller Crusaders had their chances. Billy Red Lyons and Dewey Robertson used the top rope well and took the fight to Bolo and Geeto. It was a miss that spelled doom for Lyons and Geeto blasted him with a clothesline to grab the pin.

Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka def. Jim Duggan & The Crusher

An absolutely brutal slugfest between these four men. The action was non-stop and Duggan and the Crusher really went at Brody and Snuka. The match just kept going and going, but Brody took out the Crusher's leg and was able to get the three count.

The Sheik & The Turk def. Red Pepper

Abdullah Farouk turned this match around in favor of his men. His distraction allowed the Sheik to come in and help the Turk. The Sheik completely destroyed Red Bastien, but he wouldn't give up. Pepper Gomez came in but his offense didn't last. The Turk beat Gomez with the Strangulation.

Steve Corino & Bryan Danielson def. The Foreign Force

Another violent contest that saw Ivan Koloff seriously batter both opponents. Mr. Fuji got in on the act, but Corino and Danielson hung in there. Corino made the save and the Old School Expulsion beat Fuji.

The Enforcers def. The Sheepherders

A real evenly fought matchup. Each team took over at different times. In the end it was Greg Valentine following Larry Zbyszko with another piledriver on Butch Miller.

Bobo Brazil & Magnum T.A. def. The Vachons

One more real solid back and forth match. This one ended suddenly when Bobo caught Mad Dog off the top rope with a powerslam and scored the pinfall.

The Super Destroyers def. Rob Van Dam & Sabu by D.Q.

At first it was all RVD and Sabu as they decimated the Masked Superstar. It was ultra-hardcore and no bell rang. The Destroyer came in with the figure four and Boston Crab on Sabu. Outside Sabu took the chairs to the Destroyer repeatedly and eventually the bell rang.

The Road Warriors def. Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger

The Japanese cruiserweights struggled mightily in this one. It didn't take long for Animal to level Liger with a flying shoulder ram for the pin.

Giant Baba & Don Leo Jonathan def. Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan

A main event level match anywhere in the world today, and all four lived up to that billing. This one went long and was dead even, back and forth all the way. Baba landed the Neckbreaker Drop twice to finish off Inoki.

IWWF Heavyweight Championship

Penny Banner def. Sarah Stock (ch)[/center]

Penny Banner took the gold away from Stock in a one-sided match. Banner was on a mission in this match to finally capture the world title. She had two title shots this year already, losing both to Madusa Miceli. Banner dominated the entire bout. The Dark Angel fought and fought but couldn't get any kind of offense going while fending off Banner. The end came with a dropkick off the ropes by Banner.

Mil Mascaras def. Johnny Valentine

The singles competition on the tour was outstanding and those men are still looking at winning on the final show to move up the ladder and a future All-Asia title match. Mil Mascaras was on fire, looking his best in this match. Valentine is so tough to beat though and kept fighting and fighting. It was Valentine missing off the top that allowed Mascaras to get the pin (Valentine 7 coins).

Steve Williams def. Terry Gordy by C.O.

The feud between these two seems far from over, after starting back in ICW and lasting through two tours in JWA. Dr. Death powerslammed Gordy on the concrete and took this one by countout.

Frank Gotch & William Muldoon def. Hans Schmidt & Fritz Von Goering

Mr. Fuji added Schmidt and Von Goering to the Foreign Force as the tour went on, and they were thorns in the side of Frank Gotch. He got a measure of revenge as Gotch beat Von Goering with the Toe Hold. However, Schmidt leveled Muldoon after the match and attack Gotch as well.

All-Asia Tag Team Titles
The Kangaroos def. Antonino Rocca & Ilio DiPaolo, 2-0

Non-stop, fast paced action in the first fall. Rocca was everywhere, and had nearfalls on both Kangaroos. DiPaolo didn't fare as well and a second time with the Boomerang put him away.

The second fall was just as great. A huge four-way brawl erupted when Rocca save DiPaolo. The pace was furious and the Kangaroos won the titles after a crossbody catapult over the ropes on Rocca.

All-Asia Heavyweight Title
Nick Bockwinkel def. The Iron Sheik (ch), 2-0

An awesome first fall as both men showed they are evenly matched on the mat. It was nothing but move-reversal, move-reversal. Bockwinkel did a good job of keeping the Iron Sheik in the ring and staying away from Mr. Fuji. Bockwinkel finally won the first fall with the figure four.

Bockwinkel could tell the title was within his grasp and turned up the pressure. Mr. Fuji kept things going, but the Iron Sheik was on borrowed time. The champ battled and fought, but the figure four ended his reign and Nick Bockwinkel takes back the All-Asia title (Iron Sheik 7 coins).
